Their management systems are very good ensuring nothing is missed. Also recording everything in a on-line diary which is open to review. This brings peace of mind.
In our case, in practice this meant 2 visits around lunchtime and teatime to prepare and serve meals but also check various things around the house to ensure a clean and tidy home.
It all worked very well and we have St. Margaret's to thank.
From the first telephone call /inquiry this provider has been wonderful. Senior staff and day-to-day carers are always polite and helpful. My mum was reluctant to admit that she needed support but now she looks forward to her "ladies" who visit 6 days a week. They always do whatever she asks and bring a cheery smile. I feel confident that mum greatly benefits from this service. Thanks to all.
St Margaret's has been looking after my mum for the past 9-10 months and I can honestly say our experience has been excellent. The carers have been great with my mum, they have been professional and caring, treating my mum with dignity and respect. She has developed a bond with a number of her regular carers who sit and chat with her when they have completed their tasks. My sister and I have found St Margaret's very easy to work with, the team have been very responsive to our requests and needs. My mum has now gone into a residential care home and we would like to thank the team at St Margaret's for all they have done for us.
Think my mum knows more about her carers than she does her own family, she is always regaling stories about them and genuinely can't wait to see them.
The level of support she receives really is the best l have witnessed and l feel the carers go above and beyond with all that they do for her.
The whole team are incredibly supportive of us all, and we are grateful every day for the love and support they offer Mum.
Thank you from us all.
There are some kind suggestions communicated from her care team, usually in the very useful little blue-grey exercise book provided by St Margaret's or phone and we do appreciate this.
We are unbelievably grateful to your team
including the management staff.
I can't speak highly enough of the carers at St Margaret's - they were just brilliant with Dad. For the last four years, they have been there for him and us offering differing levels of support in line with his changing needs. Always a cheery event when Dad was in one of his less-than-cheery moods. The team have been incredibly supportive and accommodating as things developed. Just a great care service - thanks to all!
Without exception, all the staff who visited Mum were kind, caring and professional, and Mum always looked forward to the visits.
All staff are efficient and dedicated, and ensured Mum was safe and comfortable at home.
St Margaret’s Homecare came into our home to care for my mum (she lived with my husband and I). Right from the start, the ladies who cared for Mum treated my mother with the utmost respect. They were efficient in doing their jobs, whilst at the same time, making sure my mother's needs were always addressed. She was always happy to see them because they made her feel special, having a laugh and joking with her; they made her day. St Margaret’s attended Mum for 18 months until she passed away. We were so lucky to have such wonderful carers come into our home. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them or have them back if we needed them. I will always be grateful to the lovely ladies who looked after my mum.
I shall be forever grateful to have had their input during Mum's last months.
The care Mum received from this service was above and beyond expectation and for myself made my time caring for her so much easier and safer.
To all those angels - thank you.
We have used St Margaret's for over 2 years and have been happy with the care throughout. However, my partner's care has been terminated after this week which gives me 1 week to find alternative care! I was informed via e-mail which I think is an appalling manner to inform someone their care is stopping. My partner has MS and is reliant on carers to get him up in the morning. If this is how a loyal client is treated after using the company for over 2 years then you can't obviously care about your clients. I am now in a situation where I have to manage my partner's care myself until I can find alternative care. The carers themselves have always been excellent but I'm afraid the management's priority is money and does not have the client's best interests in mind.
We apologise for the cancellation of your husband's calls. As communicated, the current staffing crisis means we do not have the resources to carry on with the calls. None of our staff live within 30 minutes of the area and we can’t find staff who will carry out the care. We cannot provide what we...
