St. Margaret's Homecare has provided exemplary care to my very elderly mother for 11 months until she sadly passed away aged 101. I found the office staff to be helpful and reassuring. The 'at home' care team consisted of several people, who quickly built a rapport and gave mum the best possible care, attention and dignity during their visits. As mum was immobile in a foetal position, in pain and extremely frail they went out of their way to be considerate and kind, whilst being professional in all aspects of mum's personal care. They were on time, honest about mum's care and condition and trustworthy. In the latter weeks the carers coordinated with the District Nurses for visits which was very efficient. The lead carers were as supportive to me as they were to mum and I cannot thank them enough for the help they have given me over this time. I would definitely recommend their services if you need them, especially if you are allocated the same carers that mum had.

St. Margaret's carers are very caring individuals and have shown both my dad and myself tremendous support. My dad can be difficult to manage at times but their commitment to maintaining his care routines and positive communication between them and myself is extremely good. They try hard to ensure he is provided with the best care, and will problem solve situations with each other if he is unfamiliar to them. He has consistent carers for the majority of his calls, which really helps with my dad because he is very reserved and has a long historical complex personality. I cannot praise St. Margaret's enough, they are all lovely people, and dad's care and support to me as his daughter and once his main carer has allowed me to begin to manage my own health needs and give me a much brighter outlook on life. 10/10!

Lovely friendly staff. They are very in tune with the needs of people with Dementia. My husband always looks forward to them and their company and enjoys the activities he shares with them. I am confident leaving my husband in their care when I have much needed time for myself.

Carers treat my brother with kindness and respect. The managers are very helpful when I request changes to his care provision and requirements are accommodated. Communication with management is dealt with promptly.

Care is on time and consistant. The local management team are exceptional and any issues are resolved at once. My mother, overall is happy with the care she recieves on a daily basis and wouldnt change.

When my family needed live in care for my mother in her final weeks at home, we were facing one of the hardest times of our lives, and inviting a stranger into such an intimate situation felt daunting.

From day one, every concern disappeared. The care we received was exceptional. Our carer brought professionalism, compassion, medical knowledge, and calm reassurance, while working seamlessly with NHS staff, monitoring every detail, and helping me understand each stage of my mother's care.

What meant the most was the kindness shown, not only to my mother, but to me as her daughter. I was encouraged to rest, take breaks, and keep going when things felt overwhelming.

The standard of care was outstanding throughout. My mother was treated with dignity, tenderness, and respect, and I was supported in ways I will never forget. I cannot recommend St Margarets highly enough.

My Mum Muriel received outstanding care from St Margaret's until her death this month aged 94. The support enabled her to live quite an independent life at home right up to the end. After my Dad died, and her health gradually deteriorated, the carers were sensitive to offering support that met he changing needs as time went on. Thank you for all you did for her.

My brother has special needs around social impairments and cognition. He has been living independently for years and due to a change of physical needs now requires more support in his own home. St Margaret's provided first-class support from day 1. Staff coming in are truly caring and professional. As I do not live locally but have a legal responsibility for my brother I have interacted with St Margaret's office quite frequently during this transition period in order to coordinate on practical aspects including medication. St Margaret's staff support trips out for appointments or for a change of scene which is a great help to my brother. This has all gone smoothly and a few hiccups have quickly been sorted. St Margaret's has shown they can really work as a team with the family, some of the office staff get involved in visits so they understand and have insight into my brother's needs and abilities. It is reassuring that I can use the portal to see how visits have gone.

From the first telephone call /inquiry this provider has been wonderful. Senior staff and day-to-day carers are always polite and helpful. My mum was reluctant to admit that she needed support but now she looks forward to her "ladies" who visit 6 days a week. They always do whatever she asks and bring a cheery smile. I feel confident that mum greatly benefits from this service. Thanks to all.

St Margaret's has been looking after my mum for the past 9-10 months and I can honestly say our experience has been excellent. The carers have been great with my mum, they have been professional and caring, treating my mum with dignity and respect. She has developed a bond with a number of her regular carers who sit and chat with her when they have completed their tasks. My sister and I have found St Margaret's very easy to work with, the team have been very responsive to our requests and needs. My mum has now gone into a residential care home and we would like to thank the team at St Margaret's for all they have done for us.

Our second experience with St Margaret's as a family, this time for my grandma (previously had cared for my grandpa) and cannot recommend them enough. Grandma genuinely looked forward to the team coming, her carer especially. The team helped to put our minds at ease knowing that Grandma was being supported by genuinely kind and caring people, who ensured her dignity was maintained as her needs changed. We had a fantastic experience for both of my grandparents and I would not hesitate to recommend St Margaret's to anybody.

The St Margaret's team have been so supportive of my Mother. She sadly had a bad fall in December 2024. St Margarets came to support my sisters and me, with continuing care for Mum in her Flat in Harrogate. Morning and evening, 7 days per week, the St Margarets Team were so helpful and kind, administering medicines and eye drops and helping with exercises, for both cognitive and movement. The friendly staff made the meetings, enjoyable, and constructive for her recovery, as well as helpful, for Mum and ourselves. We cannot praise them highly enough. A huge thank you for all that you have done. We would all be very happy to recommend you to others.

Mum has now moved, we would be happy to use St Margaret's Homecare services again and would recommend to others.
