I have found all Caremark staff efficient, understanding, supportive and kind over the last year caring for my mum. In September a situation arose regarding my mum that was particularly stressful for me. The Caremark manager listened and empathised and did all she could and succeeded to resolve the situation. The feeling I have always had is that we are working together for the best care for my mum. Things don't always go right, because that's life, but what I have found with Caremark is that they are always willing to listen to understand and do all they can to resolve the situation. As well as the excellent care my mum receives, their willingness to work with me is what I value the most.
Caremark are currently visiting my mother 3 times a day. They attend to all her needs and always try and make the visit as easy as possible for her. Her mobility is very poor so they raise the bed and make sure the bed sheets are clean and she is as comfortable as possible. We have been very pleased with the overall service Caremark offer and would recommend their services.

Caremark Elmbridge have been able to meet our exacting requirements, with one regular and one relief carer who both meet specific language needs. I hoped that we might get a carer who could provide some companionship, but Caremark Elmbridge surpassed this with a carer who fully understands and empathises with our cultural needs. Not only is our carer very pleasant-natured, she is very understanding and genuinely very caring. Thank you.

The initial review of my relative was thorough and I felt that this was respected when generating the care plan. It is also reassuring that the managers do visit from time to time to review how things are going, so there is always an opportunity to feedback and for the staff to respond.
Overall we have been happy with the carers who have been attending to my relative - obviously now and again personalities do not gel, but again the company has responded to this. My only frustration is occasional, poor time-keeping on the part of some carers, but this is balanced out by the genuine care and consideration that the carers show to my relative.
Good service provided, however, communication could be improved.
In August 2021 I was left with no alternative but to cancel their services after an evening visit simply failed to take place; leaving my father alone for a period of 20 hours and placing him at considerable personal risk alone in the home as he fended for himself. This went unheeded until he informed his carer the following morning.
I would therefore urge you to exercise extreme caution in using this Agency.

The care staff who have come to the flat have been absolutely brilliant. The care staff have been extremely attentive, friendly and kind. They have encouraged my dad and supported him to enable his independence. However, we feel that the communication between the client and senior staff in the office (or the appropriate individual) could have been a lot better. Notably there were some improvements right at the end from the client. My experience with the company has been okay. I feel the quality of service and care have been fantastic and far outweigh general admissions.

My father needed emergency home care and Caremark Elmbridge was able to provide 24-hour live-in care at very short notice. They looked after my mother who has dementia while he was in and out of hospital and then for four weeks (including over Christmas) until it became necessary for both parents to go into a nursing home. It was reassuring that only two live-in carers were used throughout the period, as this provided them with consistency. The management and organisation of the whole process was impeccable, despite the area being in Tier 4 Covid lockdown and I was kept fully informed and reassured of my parents' safety and wellbeing. I would like to thank the whole team at Caremark Elmbridge for their professional support throughout a difficult time for us all.

Unable to input much feedback regarding the care given as my mother had not used carers before and she was not really wanting to have any carers at all but because she was dying, I would not have been able to cope with her care by myself. They were great support at a very difficult time and coped well with her end of life a couple of weeks.

We were so lucky to find Caremark Elmbridge when my mother's health suddenly deteriorated to the point she could not be left unattended. The Director at Caremark Elmbridge responded quickly to our call for a live in carer for just a few days while we arranged respite care and we were immediately impressed by her professionalism and caring manner. She found us a live in carer who was perfect, relieving my sister and I of much worry and sleepless nights. Most importantly my mum loved her. We could find no fault with the support we received and have no hesitation in recommending the Director and her colleague.

I met a representative of the new care company and was very impressed by her demeanour for someone so relatively young and also noted that she immediately struck up a good rapport with my friend.
The carers display consistent professionalism every day that they attend my friend, and they also talk to her like a fellow human being, not someone who they happen to be caring for.
All in all, I like to think that the relationship between my friend and her new carers will be a long one.

As a first time user of care services, they have relieved some of the anxiety associated with moving from hospital to home, and have kept me updated of any concerns they have had during visits, and developed a rapport with my parents.
I can't comment on value for money as given the demand for services we weren't able to get any comparisons at time of discharge but understand the charges are in line with other providers.
