My mum died in November, we had two carers before she went into the hospital, which was not good. When she came out we had Winserve, they were brilliant with the way they talked to her and looked after her, every single person that came were all the same. I cannot praise them enough, they talked to her, made her comfy, fed her and there was no rushing. You could tell that she came first, I would like to thank them all.
Winserve Care is always putting every one of our service users first in our service delivery. Thank you for appreciating our team's efforts and thank you for helping our team to be welcome in your mother's home as they provided support.
The staff who came into our home were fabulous. My stepdaughter-in-law wasn't keen on having carers but they chatted to her and made her feel at ease. She looked forward to you coming and enjoyed chatting with someone outside the family. We had some sit-in carers who were great at giving us some time to ourselves, knowing my stepdaughter-in-law was being watched and occupied. Special thanks to the staff who were mentioned at the funeral and commended for caring for our gorgeous girl.

At home, she had four wonderful carers, working in teams of two. From the very first day to the last day they attended to mum, I could see the carers showing gentleness, compassion, empathy and excellent care.
Although Mum was extremely ill it was obvious she was comfortable with them and she would even hold their hands and occasionally manage a smile. They all treated Mum with dignity and did everything they could to make her comfortable.

Three carers from Winserve Care Services cared for my wife through the last days of her life. The care she received was exemplary. They were highly respectful and responsive. Whenever they came in to see my wife, her face would light up since she trusted them completely. Their communication with me and other family members was superb and they responded quickly and appropriately to our requests. Winserve came to us after a bad experience with a previous care company. I was nervous due to our previous experience. I am delighted to say we are delighted with the care my mum receives. They are well organised and communicate well. They treat Mum with respect and dignity. They observe and communicate changes with Mum's health, advising when to mention it to the district nurse/doctor. The timekeeping is excellent.

The company provided day and night care for my late husband for a couple of weeks prior to him going to a hospice. I cannot praise some of the staff highly enough - they were professional and caring and treated him with respect and humour - they made him laugh so much! They were kind, caring and compassionate. Also, another staff member provided some day care and he also was respectful and caring. However, the night staff were a different story! Out of the four different night carers who attended, only one was professional and capable. One was asleep on the sofa as my husband was trying to get out of bed; another refused to take outdoor coat and hat off and I had to help her get my husband back to his bed during the night as she was not capable; the final one was late turning up did not show any identity - I had to ask him if he was from Winserve - he did spend time with my husband during the night, so I appreciated that. I would have given 5-stars for some staff.

My mother went to a nursing home in Farsley in July 2021. Her first agency and their staff were totally inappropriate, inexperienced and uncaring. They along with the lack of support shown by the home created a level of care that was totally unacceptable. This applied to both the carers and the management of the company. In December of 2021 Winserve arrived. A totally different level of care. Their carers showed experience in all areas from physical to emotional requirements. They showed empathy at all times and had the ability to bond not only with my Mum but always with us as a family. Any calls to the agency were dealt with professionally. The support from the home never really improved and so it was a blessing we had the carers from Winserve onboard who dealt with the situation along with the family. Mum died recently and I cannot thank the staff of Winserve enough for their care and support.

Very, very friendly. So helpful, can never do enough for the whole family. Treat my elderly mum with nothing but dignity, respect and protect her modesty at all times. 06/01/22 - 09/01/22 did not think my mum would make it, the two carers kept dropping in and another lady called several times. Lovely people with hearts of gold.
One of your staff came to spend the night looking after my husband so that we could have some sleep. He came on the 9th and 10th of October and it was so lovely to relax and sleep after looking after my sick husband 24 hours a day. The man was so calm, decent and soothing in his manner I felt I could trust him completely with my vulnerable husband. When my husband passed away he helped and supported us in what to do. After the nurses had been to certify him he stayed with us while we got a priest. You are so lucky to have this man on your staff. It may seem cheesy to you but he was like a guardian angel that arrived just when he was needed. We will always be grateful. He was a true gentleman.

All the carers have been very good. No problems at all with them. The carers have been excellent. They were marvellous with the client. He would do everything they asked him to do. Today the client was fast asleep, not opened his eyes. The carer came in this morning and a soon as she spoke he knew she was here.

Winserve Care Services provided care for my husband over the past couple of months during a difficult time for us as a family. Meet the Team (5)
Our Registered Manager, Amon, has over 10 years of experience working in business and finance and has honed his expertise in managing our care services. His journey showcases his abilities to excel in various project environments, ensuring the smooth delivery of business. He has qualifications in Marketing, Business, and Project Management. From working for charity organisations and education, he is a valuable asset to our organisation.
Amon takes charge of leading our team and promoting a positive work culture. Additionally, he plays a crucial role in maintaining communication with stakeholders, such as service users, families, regulatory bodies, and external agencies.
One of his favourite hobbies is reading, particularly finance books. He is also a keen runner and swimmer, which was demonstrated when he took part in the Manchester Marathon this year, running a total of 25 miles!
With over 30 years of experience working in care, Karen has qualifications in NVQ Level 4 Care Management. She has worked as a care assistant, a deputy manager, a registered manager, to a chief executive, supporting individuals in care homes, supported living, and domiciliary care.
Karen's responsibilities include overseeing the day-to-day operations at Winserve so service users receive seamless and personalised care. She is a strategic problem solver, adept at optimising service delivery processes and making sure staff are equipped to meet the needs of all service users.
Karen loves to socialise and spend time with family and friends. She also really likes to keep fit, participating in off-roading and dancing. On quieter days, she likes to sit down with a good management or psychology book.
Kasia is one of our most experienced staff members, who has been providing the highest quality care to our service users since she joined the team. She has been specifically mentioned in our reviews as an excellent carer.
Kasia loves animals, in particular, cats and always enjoys spending time with our service users' pets!
In her free time, Kasia enjoys travelling especially to warm destinations.
Nadine is one of our experienced staff members and has provided the highest quality care for our service users since she joined Winserve. She is trained in all mandatory training requirements, as well as having NVQ level 2 and first aid trained.
Alex is our HR Lead, making sure that our carers are not only qualified, but motivated to provide exceptional care.
He oversees the HR, recruitment, training, and development of our care team. Alex is responsible for organising our policies and procedures and making sure Winserve continually deliver person-centred care. He also makes sure our work environment is supportive and inclusive, ensuring that our staff feel valued and respected.
In his spare time, Alex likes to read Sci-Fi novels and keep up to date with what is happening in the world. He also is a keen exerciser, participating in long-distance running and boxing.
