Hi, I am Faye Fenton and I am the Operations Manager for Preston, Blackburn, Bury and Trafford.
My role in short is to oversee the day-to-day running of our homecare service.
I am responsible for ensuring that our service meets all legal and regulatory requirements (according to CQC), and ultimately ensure that we are providing excellent quality, person-centred care to our clients. I have worked within the care sector since I was 18. I have always enjoyed working within the sector and have always wanted to make a difference in the way that home care is delivered.

Hi, my name is Tyler. I have worked with Alcedo Care since January 2023. I was attracted to working at Alcedo due to hearing good things from employees whom I had worked with at a previous care provider, I also was particularly attracted to the family values and the development opportunities that appeared available within the organisation.

Before joining Alcedo, I had taken a 5-month break from work to foster a child as I got approved with Lancashire County Council earlier in the year. Before this, I had worked in health and social care for around 6 years, starting as a support worker and moving over to North West Ambulance Service to work in emergency triage. I then realised I wanted to be more hands-on with health care and returned to supported living as a deputy manager.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my partner and son. We particularly enjoy walking the dogs, going out on activities such as local museums and trying to visit each zoo in the UK.

Hi, my name is Steph Gorton, and I am a care coordinator with a passion for providing exceptional care to individuals in need. With 10 years of experience in the care industry, I have developed a deep understanding of the unique challenges and rewards that come with this profession.

Throughout my career, I have worked diligently to ensure that everyone under my care receives the highest level of support and attention. As a Deputy Manager, I assist the Care Manager in overseeing the day-to-day running of our home care service, to ensure that we are providing excellent quality, person-centred care to our clients.

I also enjoy spending time with my friends and loved ones. Whether it's organising get-togethers or simply catching up over a cup of coffee, these moments allow me to unwind and recharge. I believe that maintaining a healthy work-life balance is essential for overall well-being, and I prioritise self-care as part of my daily routine.

When I'm not working or spending time with loved ones, you can often find me indulging in one of my favourite hobbies: shopping. Additionally, I find solace in nature and enjoy going for walks in serene environments. These walks not only provide physical exercise but also serve as a form of meditation, helping me clear my mind and find inner peace.

My name is Ben Young and I am a dedicated care assessor with seven years of care experience working at Royal Preston Hospital. I have a passion for providing high-quality care to clients and ensuring their well-being.

In addition to my professional life, I also enjoy spending time with my son, partner and friends. I enjoy video games, going for walks and the cinema.

Throughout my career, I have developed a deep understanding of the healthcare industry and the importance of assessing clients' needs accurately. My primary role is to evaluate patients' conditions, determine their care requirements, and develop personalized care plans to meet their specific needs.

During my time at Royal Preston Hospital, I have had the opportunity to work with diverse client populations, including individuals of different ages, backgrounds, and medical conditions.
