My mum really looks forward to her weekly visits from her companion. They always have a good chat and a laugh which raises mum's spirits. Sometimes they go out for a coffee or to the garden centre. Mum really enjoys the company and being able to go out without needing me to take her. I am also able to book the companion to take mum shopping when I have other commitments. Mum's companion goes above & beyond in her shift and is very caring. Not only has she changed mum's life for the better, she helps me to be able to live my life.

Thank you so much for your kind words. We're delighted to hear how much your mum enjoys her weekly companionship visits and trips out in the community. Providing compassionate home care in Northwich that supports independence, wellbeing, and meaningful companionship is at the heart of what we do.

So pleased to have found this lovely agency.
When the time comes to get care for a parent, its stressful and a real worry.

I was so relieved when I met the staff here......both the management & individual carers are exceptionally kind, understanding and wise. I feel very lucky to have found them and know my dad is in safe hands.

All the staff are extremely friendly, courteous and helpful at all times: the service is completely reliable and communication at all levels is excellent. Your help and support is invaluable in enabling us to meet the needs of daily living.

Having been retired for may years, we find the service fees take up a significant part of our disposable income, however we understand your running costs and overheads all have to be covered and everything these days is expensive! Thank you again for a super service#!

For someone who has never had to leave their dad for a week or more, I will admit I was worried! Why on earth would I be when the team at right at home who are above and beyond what we expected. My dad, who can be stubborn, loves the team coming in to see him, and they accept him for what he is! They stay longer than needed when necessary, totally above and beyond expectations. There is no other team I would rather care for my dad. I also love the audit that I can view when I need to. Nothing is ever a problem, even when I ask for care at the last minute, they accommodate with no compromise. I have nothing but praise for this team of experts. There is massive comfort in this team of genuinely good people/carers, and you can tell they care. I wouldn't have anyone else caring for my dad. Makes me laugh when dad asks when we are going away again, just so he can see the 'Crew' again. Leaving an elderly parent is hard, and comfort is what we need, and this team give comfort in bucket loads

It's wonderful to hear that Dad enjoys his time with our carers and that you feel supported. We're proud to have such a dedicated team who go above and beyond.

My husband had been in Hospital for 6 weeks & desperately wanted to be at home. Right at Home did everything possible to make this happen, we were truly grateful for that.

The carers were proffesional, very caring & understanding of my husband's needs, empathetic & flexible in rapidly changing circumstances. They all treated My husband with dignity & respect. They got to know him well in a short space of time . They communicated well with him & myself, they were not only there for him but for me too which was very reassuring & comforting for these were very difficult & emotional circumstances.

I wanted the best possible care for my very poorly husband, as he deserved the best and he certainly got this with Right at Home Mid Cheshire.

I would highly recommend Right at Home as they truly are a very proffesional, friendly, supportive & caring company.

My Aunt in her 97th year has been a client of Right At Home for nearly 12 months. During that time they have been a great help to her making sure that she is washed and clothed properly (even though my Aunt is currently capable) it is a comfort and a security blanket for her to know they can help with her personal and household needs as required.
My Aunt also enjoys the visit while living on her own, the fact that it is daily means that any potential problems are found before they can potentially develop into a more serious concern.
I have also found the office staff very professional in the way run, organise and carry out their service.

I would highly recommend Right At Home if you personally or a loved one under your responsibility needs daily help.

Our previous care provider was not giving our mum sufficient care. Right at Home was recommended to us January 2025. Wow what a company. All the care staff are brilliant, treating Mum with dignity, they are kind and friendly and Mum, who has Parkinson's and Dementia has taken to all the staff. Unfortunately mum has recently been rushed into hospital and put on palliative care. We were told by the hospital to bring her home as soon as possible, after cancelling the carers for 2 days, the management pulled out all the stops to reinstate the calls right away. Right at Home have been amazing with their care and compassion for mum and also to us the family. The management are all very professional and friendly and look after their staff and clients. They have kept in touch with us the family, giving us all the support we need to keep mum peaceful and comfortable. I would recommend Right at Home to anyone who needs a loved one well cared for. Wished we had been with them sooner.

Right at home cared for my Dad for nearly 2 years.
Dad looked forward to all visits and enjoyed the Carers company, infant so much so, they were often here longer as Dad loved to chat.

The Carers were also very helpful with maintaining his house, washing and even helping Dad with his shaving. They were very adaptable if we needed to change visit times or cancel for any reason. We felt happy because Dad was happy with his care and that was the most important thing. Thank you for your help.

Dad has required extra support recently with additional appointments. This has successfully been covered by each carer with their usual courtesy and respect towards him and his individual needs. We engaged Right at Home in September 2023 and despite a few hiccups (which were ironed out quickly) and getting the right fit between Mum and her carers, the help Mum received was amazing. I want to praise highly two members of staff in particular for their care and then two other members of staff for their love, care and compassion at the end of Mum's life.

Would I recommend Right at Home - Absolutely.

My dad was escalated to end of life care it enabled him to come home from hospital something he and we really wanted for his final days. Luckily for us Right at Home were the care provider. The management team were excellent, they explained the procedure and answered our many questions. Although my dad was only at home for ten days the care he received was second to none. Everyone of 'the girls' (as we called them) were so professional kind and caring towards him. You would have thought they had known him for months not days. They always addressed him by name talked to him and shared a joke. To know my dad had such excellent care and his last few days were peaceful was a great comfort to us. Minutes before the evening carers arrived my dad passed away. They were wonderful and stayed with my brother until the district nurse arrived to confirm the death. I would recommend Right at Home for their professional caring and friendly service, we couldn't have done without them.

My Dad was on end of life care provided by Right at Home and although it only lasted a short while as Dad sadly passed away quickly, I can honestly say the care and professional approach from each of the carers that came was second to none.
Non of the carers ever gave the impression they were in a rush and my Dad felt reassured in his final days.
The management staff were efficient and always addressed any worries we had.
My Dad passed away shortly before an evening visit and the 2 care staff that attended were wonderful as they took charge and helped my brother who was quite overwhelmed by the experience of losing his Dad.
I rang the next day to thank the staff as too many times it's only criticism that is communicated.
I would recommend Right at Home for being friendly, approachable, professional and willing to go the extra mile.
My Dads final few days were peaceful and the carers helped reassure him all the time.

Many thanks.

Where does one begin..we cannot fault the service we have received over the past 12 months (plus) for my dear, late Grandfather. The carers became family and we received all the support and more from Right At Home (RAH). Overall, we don't have any criticisms, if there was an issue it was dealt with promptly and the resolution was always successful. Grandad needed quite intense care in the later stages of his life, bed washes, and supported the use of a rotunda. All the carers were very professional and looked after Grandad like he was one of their family members. Can only highly recommend (RAH).

Ben Selby

It has been a lifelong passion of mine to run my own home care business. I’ve worked in the home care sector for over 15 years, including time spent as a CareGiver working my way up to being a Registered Manager and latterly as a part of the Senior Management Team with a market-leading national home care provider.

I have a Level 4 NVQ Registered Managers Award and am an active Dementia Champion in Crewe and Nantwich, delivering free information sessions to organisations and businesses to help create a dementia friendly community.

My real motivation comes from my Grandad who sadly passed away in 2014 following after living with Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease for nearly 10 years. I grew up in Kendal, in the Lake District living next door to my Nan and Grandad and enjoyed many great years working for my Grandad in his family-run paint and wallpaper shop. As my Grandad’s Dementia progressed, he, of course, needed support and care as he started to struggle with his normal daily routine, and unfortunately, although much of his care was excellent, this wasn’t always the case. I use this as my constant guide to the quality of care we provide our Clients – “Would it have been good enough for my Grandad?” The answer must always be yes.
