The communication with the team is excellent. They immediately make me aware of any issues that arise and are also very sensitive and efficient in dealing with any concerns that my father or I may have. This is particularly reassuring to me as I live hundreds of miles away from my father.

I admit I like the continuity of having my regular Carer but fully understand this may not always be possible. I have met and accepted that sometimes my regular Carer will be unavailable and also met and used her one session with more of a meet and greet and further get to know her rather than using her to actually do anything other than the reason stated above.

My experience as a first time service was very good. I had a one week respite care while my private carer (of eight years) was on holiday. The care manager came and introduced me to the company and then came with the carer on their first day. By the end of the week became to my ways. I have Parkinson's syndrome with no dementia, I was very pleased to be treated with dignity and I have booked two more separate months later in the year. The carers showed signs of good training. I was very concerned that the accounts department took a repeat payment of my account. This was rectified quickly with an apology.

Although my mother is only receiving welfare visits in her care home at the current time these are very satisfying for her. It is reassuring to have issues raised by the carers as I only see what happens in the evenings.

The team at West Bridgford provide an efficient and compassionate service. We have found their communication to be excellent and are reassured that they will contact us if any issues arise that need sorting. Both carers are unfailingly kind, patient and have got to know him well.
Although he is no longer able to anticipate their visits, while they are present he enjoys their conversation and support.
The staff in the office always quick to respond to my queries and have shown flexibility when I needed to change arrangements.

We have been very pleased with the quality of care given to my mother. Carers are friendly and very sensitive to Mum’s needs. The level of service is highly professional and is underpinned by the excellent management by one staff member in particular. Meet the Team (5)
My experience in healthcare began in 2016 while I was studying an Access to Nursing course. I started to build relationships with the people we were supporting in the community and progressed my career over the years, gaining experience as a registered branch manager and care manager. I joined Carefound in 2020 and have since completed my Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management.
I have always been passionate about helping others and enabling them to stay in their own homes while living well. Our team at Carefound shares this passion, and it is incredibly rewarding to work with a group so dedicated to supporting those in our local community.
Outside of work, I spend most of my time with my family, enjoying days out and walking with our two dogs. I also like to keep fit through regular jogging and reform Pilates.
From a young age, I have always cared for others. My journey in the care sector began early in life. At 16, I became a personal care assistant for young adults with disabilities in my home country, Slovakia. During my university studies in Social Work, I continued supporting various vulnerable groups, including young adults, the elderly, people with mental health issues, and victims of domestic abuse.
In 2010, I moved to the UK, and by 2011, I had started my career in the healthcare sector here. I worked for a large nationwide care company, where I progressed from a live-in carer to an hourly care assistant, then to a field care supervisor, recruitment coordinator, and finally a care coordinator.
When I learned about Carefound Homecare, a company known for its outstanding reputation and strong values, I decided to apply. I was offered a role as a Care Manager, achieved my Level 5 in Health and Social Care, something I had always aspired to and helped grow our West Bridgford team.
I love my job in care. I am passionate about helping others and seeing the difference our team makes in their daily lives. I look forward to each day at work, thriving in a busy and diverse environment alongside our wonderful clients.
In my free time, I enjoy long walks, gardening, watching good sitcoms, and travelling.
I began my career in care in 2016 and have been dedicated to the field ever since. I joined Carefound in 2021 as a carer and have since advanced to the role of senior carer. I completed my Level 3 Diploma with triple distinction and I am currently pursuing a Level 3 Learning and Development Diploma to prepare for future responsibilities.
Why do I love working in care? For me, it’s not just a job—it’s a passion. I am committed to making a positive impact in people's lives, delivering high-quality, person-centred care, and empowering individuals to maintain their independence as much as possible.
In my senior carer role, I’ve discovered a new passion: supporting carers to be their best and watching them succeed. It’s a major source of motivation for me.
Outside of work, I spend all my time with my little boy, creating memories and enjoying our time together.
