When my auntie started needing additional care this was a worrying time. The manager of Carefound Home Care visited my auntie and I in my auntie's home and together we were all able to discuss things as a team and the manager could get to know my auntie. She took time and interest in hearing my auntie
talk about herself and her life, her likes and dislikes and her needs.
The first time I met the manager I instantly felt at ease. I could see that the manager genuinely cares about her job and her role in caring for my auntie. This was such a relief because I live a long way away. I was impressed by her professionalism, attention to detail, care and empathy for my auntie and the situation. Nothing is too much trouble. It is a small team and offers a really personal approach.
The manager is approachable and easy to reach on the phone. I have full faith in her ability to meet the changing needs of my auntie as time progresses.

The staff at Carefound Home Care have been amazing setting up and providing care for my mother. Previously she was with a large national company who ended up being terrible in terms of inconsistent appointment times, cancelling appointments and not having regular, experienced staff. Carefound has been
a breath of fresh air with their excellent service. Their communication is great and they always return calls or emails promptly. My mother has regular, friendly carers who arrive when planned and do a great job. Although it sounds simple this is not for some other companies. We would recommend Carefound to anyone in need of care support.

My husband has been extremely happy being cared for by his Carefound Home Care caregiver. The company has been very thorough in their assessment of his needs and understand the risks involved in taking care of him. I feel very confident in the care that is provided by Carefound.

I can honestly say we have only had fabulous service from Carefound Home Care.
The attention to detail to make sure Mum’s care is seamless and stress-free has been astounding.
Mum loves her carer and we as a family feel so reassured she is in such caring hands. I love the app and the accessibility
of ‘checking in’ on Mum and knowing she has had breakfast, meds, a bath etc…hugely reassuring.

My father has been having 24-hour live-in care since the beginning of the month. We were unsure how he would take to having new people in his home but within hours of meeting the two carers who come in, he refers to them as "the latest additions to his family".
He was so poorly before Christmas and
really seemed to have lost the will to live. Since having the carers looking after him, he's eating and drinking more, moving more and is almost back to his old self.
All communication, every step of the way between the management team and the carers have been spot on and I can't thank you all enough.

The Carefound has now been responsible for the care of my mother for almost two years. She has always been a very independent person and, despite her needs she has received excellent care from a pool of 5 carers. Mum has quite a large package and has six calls a day. However, the company was absolutely
great in figuring out how to address her concerns, taking time to home in on the most suitable approaches and personalities of carer for her. There is real warmth, trust and respect between her carers and her, and they are clearly very well trained and focussed on managing her various conditions as well as her overall wellbeing, sense of independence and personal space. I am kept informed of mum's care all the time and we all take the time to make informed decisions as required. Despite her deteriorating physical condition, the sensitive, caring expertise of Carefound allows my mother to enjoy day-to-day life with dignity.

The care my mother receives from the carers is excellent.
One, in particular, is superb, however, all the carers treat my mother with dignity and care.
Communication with the carers and management is excellent. I am kept up to date with any changes to rota or carer.
When we have required increased
care at short notice, Carefound has been very accommodating.
I would highly recommend this care provider.

The quality of care depends on the carer. They each have different skills.

The personal care is fine but the cooking varies enormously. Some carers need to be prompted to do simple tasks.

For some, it is a vocation for others just a job. The level of satisfaction is probably 50/50

I employed Carefound Home Care (West Bridgford) to provide night care during the closing weeks of my father’s life and then beyond during the darkest winter nights when I had no way of knowing how my mother would react to his passing.
Throughout the 5 months that Carefound were employed, I found their
professionalism and genuine care and alertness to my mum’s needs to be exemplary. Recommendations they made led to a GP visit to enhance her eating and this is a measure of how good Carefound are compared with my mum’s principal care provider.
Despite being a few miles outside Nottingham my mum was always visited on time and it was invaluable being able to read the carers' comments via the Carefound portal.
Had it been up to me, Carefound would have been still employed to look after my mum at home, but her friendship with one of her other carers meant that I wasn’t able to persuade her. Should things not work out as I hope, I would have no hesitation in employing them again. Really sorry to see them go.

We have been very satisfied with the service we have received on the whole. We did have a few teething problems, but these were soon sorted.
Mum does find the continuous noise from the washing machine and vacuum cleaner annoying. I realise these are necessary but could be kept to a minimum.
Meals
are also a problem. Mum has very little interest and carers like different types of food.

My experience in healthcare began in 2016 while I was studying an Access to Nursing course. I started to build relationships with the people we were supporting in the community and progressed my career over the years, gaining experience as a registered branch manager and care manager. I joined Carefound in 2020 and have since completed my Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management.

I have always been passionate about helping others and enabling them to stay in their own homes while living well. Our team at Carefound shares this passion, and it is incredibly rewarding to work with a group so dedicated to supporting those in our local community.

Outside of work, I spend most of my time with my family, enjoying days out and walking with our two dogs. I also like to keep fit through regular jogging and reform Pilates.

From a young age, I have always cared for others. My journey in the care sector began early in life. At 16, I became a personal care assistant for young adults with disabilities in my home country, Slovakia. During my university studies in Social Work, I continued supporting various vulnerable groups, including young adults, the elderly, people with mental health issues, and victims of domestic abuse.

In 2010, I moved to the UK, and by 2011, I had started my career in the healthcare sector here. I worked for a large nationwide care company, where I progressed from a live-in carer to an hourly care assistant, then to a field care supervisor, recruitment coordinator, and finally a care coordinator.

When I learned about Carefound Homecare, a company known for its outstanding reputation and strong values, I decided to apply. I was offered a role as a Care Manager, achieved my Level 5 in Health and Social Care, something I had always aspired to and helped grow our West Bridgford team.

I love my job in care. I am passionate about helping others and seeing the difference our team makes in their daily lives. I look forward to each day at work, thriving in a busy and diverse environment alongside our wonderful clients.

In my free time, I enjoy long walks, gardening, watching good sitcoms, and travelling.

I began my career in care in 2016 and have been dedicated to the field ever since. I joined Carefound in 2021 as a carer and have since advanced to the role of senior carer. I completed my Level 3 Diploma with triple distinction and I am currently pursuing a Level 3 Learning and Development Diploma to prepare for future responsibilities.

Why do I love working in care? For me, it’s not just a job—it’s a passion. I am committed to making a positive impact in people's lives, delivering high-quality, person-centred care, and empowering individuals to maintain their independence as much as possible.

In my senior carer role, I’ve discovered a new passion: supporting carers to be their best and watching them succeed. It’s a major source of motivation for me.

Outside of work, I spend all my time with my little boy, creating memories and enjoying our time together.
