Over all time TrustBridge Care has 73 reviews.
All the members of staff have treated me with dignity and respected my privacy. The staff are professional in their conduct, not only with me but also my family members. It is good to get the email from the management to tell us when the carers are arriving for that week.
Our team of professionally trained carers are all compassionate and empathic individuals who really care about the people they provide care for. Carers make every effort to help our clients maintain their well-being and independence. Companionship is an important part of our premium home care service! Thank you for your lovely feedback for the carers.
We have had a good experience of this care provider, providing twice-daily visits to my mum whilst she recuperates from a fall. Staff are empathetic, friendly and professional and the Derby manager was very responsive to my queries. I have no hesitation in recommending them.
Thank you for your very kind review, as always we will continue to work hard to ensure the quality of care stays at the level you’ve come to expect. Best wishes.
Carers were very polite and respectful. Nothing was too much trouble. It was a joy to see them each time. Hygiene was to a high standard. Very reliable. We contacted you at short notice, but you were still able to meet my needs. First class with my medication. I did appreciate carers wearing masks due to me being at high risk with my ongoing breathing problems. Really miss the girls, but hope to see them again next year.
Having two carers in four times a day, seven days a week can be a bit trying, you just have to get on with it. You can't always rely on the apps, sometimes they come early which makes it awkward at meal times. Having said that, the carers always turn up, sometimes they don't leave the bedroom tidy as they found it. Some carers are better than others. Overall, they do their job with a bit of banter which helps.
GoodOaks Homecare couldn't be more helpful, they really are great. Social services still haven't set up direct payment (2 months in), yet GoodOaks continue to provide excellent service. They've been super flexible with Mum and Dad's needs, stepping up the service and adjusting times to suit Dad.
All the carers are different with some showing a greater degree of care and use of time. The management is good.
Management go the extra mile at times, particularly like now when my dad is hospitalised with a chest infection - visiting him for me and reporting back.
Only slight worry is relief staff when the regular staff are unavailable - this causes a lot of stress and disruption for my parents, but I guess this is the norm in the live-in care sector.
Overall I’m so pleased I decided on GoodOaks Homecare - Derby and Ashbourne.
Thanks so much for your very kind review. It is a pleasure to help support Mum to stay at home and we'll keep adapting to her changing requirements as needed.
My experience overall is good, in certain circumstances excellent - couldn't wish for better. I always feel at ease when I know who will be coming through the door, especially in the mornings when my personal needs have to be met. I'd also like to say how happy I was during Ramadan, being reunited with my original carers who looked after me when I first came to the firm. Thank you.
Thank you, I'm so pleased to know GoodOaks team has met your needs and expectations.
Delighted with the help the ladies have given. They are all very pleasant and are happy to do anything that they are asked. I would be happy to recommend to anyone. They do run a little late sometimes restricting what they have time to do.
Thank you for taking the time to provide a review - we are so pleased that you are happy with the service.
Problems have been with communication - not replying to emails, GoodOaks preferring telephone contact and this is when things are missed, eg extra sessions booked but then not happening (really not good).
We have had to work at getting consistent carers and times of visits - after a year, this is pretty much resolved.
New/stand-in carers can be problematic in not covering certain task or not knowing how to microwave ready meals (which has happened on a number of occasions).
We appreciate that finding carers is difficult and managing rotas must be hard. But as a client you need it to work when vulnerable, housebound elderly are relying on carers for everything they need.
Thank you for the feedback, GoodOaks team are evolving to provide a first-class service to clients, in an industry where a shortage of carers was a national crisis GoodOaks were committed to providing a high-quality service. Therefore client feedback was acknowledged and GoodOaks Derby has taken the approach to provide regular carers to clients and hope you have seen the change.
Her staying gave us confidence as she was able to help check her vital signs which I wouldn’t have been confident t do.
Thank you for the feedback, it's very much appreciated as carers always aim to have the client's best interest at heart - your feedback will be shared with the carers to show gratitude for the hard work they do. GoodOaks team ensure they always adhere to our pride values.
Carers have gone above and beyond to keep Mum safe and have kept me informed of relevant issues.
Thank you for your positive feedback, we always strive to meet our pride values at GoodOaks Derby. It has been an absolute pleasure looking after Mum and we will endeavour to do our best at all times.
My mum has been with GoodOaks Homecare for a few weeks now. We had to find support after a sudden hospital admission. So far, we are so pleased with the service we have received. The carers really seem to take the time to get to know my mum and her needs and are also understanding about her ever-changing health needs and the inevitable frustration of losing more of her independence. We were a little concerned about the expense at first as it was more than a 'standard' agency, but the way the carers are almost daily companionship and also communicate over my mum's health (and any worrying deterioration across the day) makes it worthwhile. I think in the long term it will help her to live 'independently' for longer than we at first thought. As I don't live on the doorstep, I really appreciate the extra input that GoodOaks gives.
Thank you for the positive feedback, we always try and go above and beyond for our service users. We encourage our carers to ensure they promote independence.
My mum came to live with us after a hospital stay and rehabilitation. The team from GoodOaks Homecare have been great. The individual carers have treated my mum with care and respect, important for an 87 year old. Mum looks forward to the carers coming in and the conversations she has with them. We were worried that as a fiercely independent woman there would be some resistance but that wasn't the case as the carers were kind, compassionate and understanding.
The entire team at GoodOaks is incredibly grateful for the kind review you shared, GoodOaks considers client satisfaction a top priority and with your feedback, it's clear our clients are noticing our efforts. Thank you once again.
Very good caring service, very pleased with the help and attention my husband is receiving. The carers have a good rapport with my husband and encourage him to support himself in the best possible way. The help with the caring and domestic help has eased a lot of pressure on me. All the staff I have been in contact with have been very kind and supportive, from the office, caring and domestic. Thank you all, as this is very new to me as I have not needed any help in the last 57 years of marriage.
Thank you for the positive review you've given to our care team. This type of feedback encourages the team to continuously exceed quality care standards and uphold our GoodOaks pride values.
Having to suddenly find care at home for a much loved independent person of 95 years has been the most challenging experience, I have been truly tested in my beliefs, my patience and my resilience. I found GoodOaks Homecare. It sounded lovely. Having three Oaks in my garden it made sense to me to give them a call. This is what I found so far. People who listen, who hear, who can translate concerns, worry and anxiety into plans, plans that can be changed, added to and bespoke for the loved one who needs that special level of caring with practical assistance. The bespoke care 24/7 for my loved one, so far has been just that. Remember, though, information and communication are key. Give GoodOaks the information they need to match their caregivers and everyone has a good start. Any issues or worries take them up immediately with those in the office. The hour-to-hour care is fully logged, giving information and peace of mind. Our 4th week begins and so far so good. Thank you GoodOaks Homecare.
We always strive to deliver excellent care services to our clients.
Communication is very good, and the timetable is adhered to.
The staff, both in administration and the carers, are friendly and approachable and go beyond the call of duty to help if necessary.
My father is very happy with the care he receives and looks forward to the visits.
Thank you for your review, Alex, we are pleased to hear that Dad is very happy with the carers. We’re always looking for ways to improve the care experience, but it’s great to know that we are on the right track.
Most days, they have the same carer and this has allowed them to build up a relationship of trust over the past few months.
The management is usually quick to respond to any queries.
Some issues with arrival times but this is improving.
Mum's regular carer knows exactly what medication she needs and is always fast to let me know if anything is running low.
If we need extra visits covering at short notice they are always able to step in and help.
I would not hesitate to recommend them to my friends if their parents need care in the future.
Thanks, Good Oaks.
From the moment I called Good Oaks Derby, the whole team was incredibly responsive and helpful. They ensured the move from the hospital to home was as comfortable as possible for my father and took the worry out of the process for my mum. They assessed and provided the care we needed, when we needed it. Overall: excellent 24-hour support. Highly recommended! Thanks to the entire team!
Thank you, John, for the amazing review! We're grateful to have Mum and Dad as our clients.
