Visiting Angels have offered exceptional care to my mum (aged 93 who has dementia and mobility issues) and my dad, aged 91. They have been supporting my parents for 2 years and have offered friendship, care and support in my parents own home. Each and every carer has shown respect and when a new carer has been introduced, this has been done with sensitivity. The care package we have needed has had to be changed frequently and the management of the company has been exceptional, offering flexibility and tailor made packages to meet our needs. I can't recommend them highly enough, they are absolute life savers and my parents have loved them. Thank you.

Having initially visited Dad at home and chatted with us about his needs, they put together an excellent care plan, which was reviewed regularly as his needs changed. The office staff are friendly, helpful and efficient and answer queries promptly. Most importantly the carers are superb - always friendly, enthusiastic and conscientious. We were told a week in advance who would be visiting each day and his team was kept to about 4 carers, so he soon got to know them. Knowing that the carers were visiting each day gave my brother and me a great deal of reassurance and the carers provide instant feedback on every visit via an app.

Care started with VISITING ANGELS when my mother had recurring falls in July. We were worried about her getting up out of bed on her own. Since the care has started with VISITING ANGELS, we have the peace of mind that we can go round and visit and she'll be fine and we won't have to worry so much about her mobility.
Myself and my sister cannot fault the care from all staff involved in her care, including management. Outstanding service, attention to detail, great manners and overall communication.

Visiting Angels provided care for my mother-in-law for a 4 week period following knee replacement surgery. The initial contact to explore support options was most professional whilst being carried out in a very friendly manner. The support package was developed together with the team really understanding our needs. The care team called on a twice daily basis, they were reliable, punctual and very attentive to my mother-in-laws needs with nothing being too much trouble. My mother-in-law really enjoyed the visits from the care team with the key standout being how personable and friendly everyone was. I couldn't speak highly enough of the service provided and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone requiring either short term or ongoing support

Visiting Angels is just so the correct name for them, as they are all angels. The care they have provided for my 85 year old mum has been second to none, whether helping to get her up, making her lunch or just sitting and having natter together. Set up a care package of 2 calls a day initially to assist my 86 year old mother following a hospital stay, with food prep, meds, and personal care, along with companionship. Within a very short period of time she was calling them 'my girls' and absolutely loves their visits. It wasn't long before my dad got on board with them, having some care for himself too. Every VA treats them with the utmost respect, and their caring nature made what is quite a difficult situation to accept a whole lot easier. Also they have all been a tremendous support to myself recently during a difficult time with my parents.

I was recommended to Visiting Angels by a neighbour. We were looking for a carer to visit my father (aged 89) at his home on a daily basis. He had just come out of hospital and his mobility was getting worse. We needed them to help with his meds/breakfast in the mornings and lunch prep at midday. My father has always reluctantly accepted he needs help but the Visiting Angels team won him over in no time. Without them, my father would not have been able to live in his own home. In addition and perhaps more importantly they provided much-needed companionship to him on their daily visits and subsequently he has developed a strong bond with them. Initially, they visited for two hours every day but on occasion, he needed an additional visit and they were always able to help. They genuinely care for your loved one like a member of your family. I could not recommend them highly enough.

The Care Team are really fantastic, they visit twice a day morning and early evening providing everything she needs at meal time whilst at the same time involving Mum in lots of conversation and laughs. All the Care staff are really excellent from the people in the office to the Carers who visit Mum, nothing is to much trouble for any of them and they go out of there way to accommodate any rapid changes in requirements.
Angels have removed a lot of worry and stress for me personally as being an only child I really needed somebody who could do just that and they did! I cant recommend them highly enough.

My father in law has 3 carers and they never attend without being introduced to him first. They are always punctual and lovely and chatty with him. He really looks forward to seeing them and whilst he does have a favourite, they are all superb.
The management team are also exceptional and accommodating. On the very rare occasion when there has been a tiny issue they are receptive and prompt to respond. Nothing is too much trouble.
The ambassador is amazing for her service and she and her team deserve all the praise and rave reviews they get.. can't recommend highly enough.

I can't recommend Visiting Angels highly enough, the carers are always timely and courteous, showing genuine compassion and care for my mum and always treating her with respect and dignity. My mum loves all her carers and has built an excellent rapport with them since commencing her care and now wouldn't be without them. I find the app a godsend as it allows me to keep up to date with all visits and provides an excellent overview of each visit and the interactions with my mother. It's not just the care, although this is second to none, I love the fact that my mum never receives a visit from someone she has never met before. Not only are the carers excellent but the back office support is also outstanding, dealing with any query or request professionally, courteously, and efficiently. I never feel out of the loop and their contact or correspondence is always timely and informative, hitting the right tone between friendly and professional. Meet the Team (2)
Hi, I'm Ashleigh! I started my career in care over 11 years ago and have never looked back. I have experienced highs and lows in this sector but this has made me the person I am today. I always strive to go above and beyond and I'm not afraid to admit I am a bit of a perfectionist.
I want to empower our angels to be the best they can be and deliver excellent quality care and support. I use my knowledge, experience and abilities to train and maintain staff by promoting carer centricity along with exceptional support and maintaining high standards.
My ongoing aim is to support our angels to grow their wings brighter and stronger whilst supporting them to deliver all-around person-centred care. Care is not just a job, it's a journey! A journey we want to help our angels grow in and feel satisfaction for the work and support they give to our amazing clients.
I began working in the care sector at the age of 17, while studying Child Care at College, I started working part-time in a Nursing Home close to where I live. I stayed for a few years alongside my studies, and when I qualified, I started working in a children's nursery and eventually became Room Leader for the baby unit.
As years passed, I decided to try Domiciliary Care and got a job within a company where I slowly made my way up to the Care Co-ordinator role. I spent many happy years there liaising with social workers and families of the clients we delivered care to.
During my career I have worked in several establishments gaining experience along the way, I have been a private nanny for a family who looked after me well and I accompanied them on their family holidays and would also do some extra babysitting for them a few evenings a week, again I spent many happy years with them up to the point the children were starting school. I have also supported young people with complex needs, but after having my own children, I felt I couldn’t carry out my role to support children with complex needs on a part-time basis and needed something more flexible to work around my children, which led me to Visiting Angels.
I started my VA journey as a Caregiver during the month of November 2020 the year Visiting Angels opened their doors, and now have worked my way up to being a Care Team Leader. I am currently learning my new role and I hope to gain more experience along the way. I enjoy aiding people and maintaining their independence in their own homes all whilst delivering the best possible care.
