Visiting Angels have changed our family’s life for the better in every way. The care is outstanding and I feel confident knowing my father is being cared for by the best. He is bursting with compliments for his carers with every visit. The management has resolved every issue and are so helpful with anything that is needed. Communication is friendly and efficient and I can now relax knowing I will be contacted for any difficulties that may arise. I’m so happy I chose Visiting Angels to help me with my father. Couldn’t ask for better!

Visiting Angels is truly amazing! The staff and carers were all excellent, so kind and caring, nothing was too much trouble for them. They were a great support not only to my Mum but also to me in her final days. I would highly recommend them!

As a family, we cannot thank Visiting Angels enough. The care and support they give to our mum is fantastic. The personalised care plan and small group of carers have made all the difference to Mum's physical and mental health. The angels are reliable, caring and understanding of Mum's needs. We have been using Visiting Angels to support my mother with her daily living needs since the beginning of January 2024. My mum has Alzheimer’s with vascular dementia and finds any changes to her routine difficult to process and can be very resistant to newcomers, however the carers that come are kind, considerate, patient and are getting to know her really well as the same carers come on a daily/weekly basis, so Mum is slowly building a bond with them and lets them do more and more. Communication with management is good and this care agency offers the facility to access mum’s visit notes so I can see how the carers are getting on. I live a long way from Mum and knowing she is getting such good care is very reassuring. I have to admit I was very sceptical at first as we had such poor service from a previous care provider but this agency really does deliver what it says it will do, I’m so pleased I found Visiting Angels and would highly recommend them.

We have had Visiting Angels caring for my mum since 2020. Unfortunately, she has just had a bad fall and so we have had to move her into residential care. At 92 years of age, she has done extremely well to remain in her own home and be independent. However, this would never have been possible without the fantastic care and devotion given by her ‘Angels’. I really cannot recommend them enough. They always went above and beyond to make sure Mum got all the care and attention she needed and she will miss them all terribly. We feel like they became part of the family and we were all very comfortable to have them around.

Visiting Angels have been caring for Mum and Dad for a couple of years and have been amazing! Mum and dad look forward to the visits and I feel much more relaxed when they are visiting. Very professional and always accommodating.

Visiting Angels (Burton and Derby) have been providing care to my 98-year-old father for six months and the family is full of praise for the entire team. The carers are highly professional, friendly and always looking for additional ways to help and support, and have built a trusting, respectful but also fun relationship with both of my parents. The team take a very proactive and flexible approach and liaises with district nurses and GPs very efficiently. We saw a huge improvement from the care provided previously (put in place by the NHS following discharge from hospital). The business is extremely well run, with good communication about any forthcoming changes that need managing (eg changes to care needs over Christmas) and I feel as though I have a line to supervisors and managers who understand exactly what our family needs rather than dealing with the faceless bureaucracy that was previously the case. I would strongly recommend.

We would like to say a very big thank you to the caring staff and our carers who look after us so well. Both my husband and myself are very happy with them. Visiting Angels are such a very good caring company and have been very happy over the years we have used them.

Visiting Angels has been supporting my dad’s care at home for the last six weeks. They have always been professional, friendly, kind, thoughtful and very patient, and nothing has been too much trouble for them. They have restored his confidence after a very traumatic experience with previous carers, which left him very vulnerable and scared. They have been very flexible regarding his needs, and have supported and worked with my mum to manage the best care for him. They are quickly becoming like part of the family and we would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who wants to receive the best of care, delivered with compassion and humour and for that, we are very grateful!

My mother has excellent care provided by Visiting Angels. They are a high quality and extremely professional private care agency. All of my mother's complex needs are fulfilled to an exceptional standard and I'm always confident that she is receiving the very best care, especially when she is with her personal assistant. Visiting Angels has provided excellent care and support for my father in recent months. The team of carers are kind, compassionate and warm people who took time to build positive relationships with the family. My mum has been looked after by Visiting Angels for just over a year now. The caregivers work to a very high standard and always go the extra mile. The ladies are not only caregivers to my mum, but have become good friends to her. They have given her the ability to stay in her own home, which has had a positive impact on her lifestyle. Using the angels has also had a huge positive impact on my life as I can continue with my busy schedule in the knowledge that my mum has a friendly face twice a day to help her with personal and practical needs. Over the last twelve months, I cannot remember any adverse experience in my wife's care and as her condition has deteriorated, I have had no hesitation in increasing the level of care. The fact that you can ring the office at any time on any day is a great comfort. Their recruitment process must be extremely good as all the carers are excellent.

Visiting Angels has provided care and support for my mother since the beginning of 2023. The appointment was viewed with some scepticism by my mother but the pre-start visits put her at ease and the subsequent levels of attention have been such that my mother now sees that the Visiting Angels team has become an integral part of her ongoing support mechanism. Visiting Angels' carers help with getting her up in the morning, making her breakfast and an evening meal, assistance getting in and out of her shower and general companionship and conversation.

Mum's carers live up to their name. They are dedicated, cheery, hard-working, respectful and patient; I've got to know them during visits which gives me great peace of mind.

Highly recommended if you need private care at home.

Sadly, Mom's needs became too high risk for her to remain at home and she has moved into a care home. This was the only reason we stopped using the Angels. Would recommend highly, to those seeking care/ companionship for their loved ones.

If you are considering care for a loved one I can highly recommend this agency who went above and beyond with their caring role. My elderly aunt has both physical and mental health needs and finding the right care for her had been difficult, compounded by the fact that my aunt is fiercely independent and would decline support. We had tried a couple of other agencies previously but with little success. Visiting Angels were fantastic in every aspect, from excellent communication, to delivering a high standard of care. Accessing the app was invaluable given there are no relatives and I do not live locally. As my aunt's needs changed rapidly, I was in regular contact with the agency and when one approach was unsuccessful another was adopted. Thank you, Visiting Angels for your true professionalism, kindness, dignity and importantly sense of humour that you have shown towards my aunt right up until she went into care, I know it was not an easy task and it is greatly appreciated.

Visiting Angels have been absolutely wonderful with Mum and so accommodating when her needs changed rapidly over a short period of time. All of the carers that we met had the same high standards and genuinely cared about Mum’s welfare. They were brilliant at liaising with the local surgery and other NHS services on our behalf, which was so helpful. The app provided, meant that I was kept informed of Mum’s visits and outcomes on a daily basis, which I so appreciated, as I live quite a long way away. I really don’t know what we would have done without the Angels and cannot recommend them highly enough.

I have been receiving care since September 2021 with visits four times daily. They are definitely well-named as Visiting Angels. We have all developed an excellent relationship over the last five months in fact their care is first class. Initially, I was unsure how it would all work out but it soon became clear and I was able to relax and treat them as friends. They have always treated me with respect and are now used to my sense of humour, thank goodness, so everything works well and we all have a good rapport with one another. I have recommended them to friends.
