Whilst I have ticked May for comment the views are the same since the service has been used.

The approach of all the staff on their calls whilst as different as their characters are consistent in the caring approach used.

If any changes are required to the care provided they are always at the the end of the 'phone.

From first point of contact the service we have received from Home Instead had been excellent. All staff have been friendly , informative and efficient , at no point did we feel any pressure to sign a contract just given all information needed to make an informed choice. Since joining my mother has been visited by a lovely carer who is well matched to her and so patient !. Has certainly made a difference to her and gives me peace of mind. Thankyou to all.

My mum was reluctant to use a care service but Home Instead matched her with amazing carers and its been wonderful from the very start. The carers are kind, supportive and caring and my mum always looks forward to their visits.

We only started with Home Instead late November but it is the best thing we did as it is not only supporting my mum but also me as they make sure my mum is ok and eating meals and giving her the best company. I would highly recommend them as a care company.

I needed some help and respite with my husband who has Alzheimer's. I was nervous about bringing a carer in for him and started with only a few hours a week. The two carers who have so far spent time with him have both been excellent matches - he responds to them well and clearly enjoys their visits. I am very pleased with the service provided by Home Instead West Lothian and am increasing the number of carer hours because it is all going so well.

When i needed help with washing and dressing home instead gave me the care i needed at the time.The ladies that helped me where very kind and professional.Great company and brilliant service and carers where all lovely

My family and I had never experienced this sort of help before, and we were unsure of what to expect. Having strangers in ones home is never easy but the ladies have been so professional and imediately put us/we, in paritucular at our ease. Nothing is too much trouble. Their what is so entertaining, it is as though we have been friends forever. There is never a cause for embarrassment, and they all seem to enjoy their work as much as we enjoy having them here.

My husbands carer takes him out to places that he is really interested in. She always makes sure he has a good and interesting time. Although he doesn't remember much about where he has been it is evident that he enjoys her visits.

Great service provided for my elderly mother which has given the family peace of mind knowing that all is well. The staff have always been friendly and have built up a great relationship with my mother.

Excellent professional service where you feel the needs of the individual are discussed and met fully and seamlessly.

First of all they supported us with companionship care for my mother, which transitioned into home help and then into meal preparation and overnight care for her after the loss of my father. We are now transitioning to live in care for mum as her frailty increases and it has become unsafe to leave her unattended. Every step of the way Home Instead have treated mum with dignity and respect. The quality of care has been superb. The carers have been so kind, efficient and attentive. The office staff have taken great trouble to match carers to mum's needs and because if this have enabled mum to stay in her home where she is happy. They have responded to her increasing care needs very promptly and effectively. Thank you Home Instead!

My 101 year old very independent Aunt was taken seriously ill in January. Home Instead had been recommended to my young cousin who contacted them. Our initial meeting with the manager proved to be positive, empathetic and supportive, our needs immediately identified, suggestions made and a meeting with my aunt who though very unwell was met by smiles from both of them. Our Aunt has bonded with the carers who are treating her with the dignity, respect and care she deserves at her great age. The daily app updates app are excellent and allows those who visit her daily to enjoy our visits and long chats as she reminisces over the many adventures she has had during her long life without the worry of caring for her needs. Night time care allows us to sleep without the extra stress of receiving late night emergency calls and though our Aunt would very much like to regain her independence I know she is appreciative of the swift reactions to her night time needs. Thank you Home Instead.

I am delighted with the care my Dad has been given with Home Instead. The staff are kind friendly and nothing is too much trouble. As a family we have asked for changes in Dad's care week on week and the staff have always been happy to oblige

I was delighted with our experience of Home Instead. They took great care to match their providers with my mum's personality, and it made a tremendous difference. They really took time to understand the person, and they have very good staff who were just right to give my mum the companionship which was so important to her. Things also got done, as well as that, and with a very light but effective touch. Communication was very frequent and thorough too. I couldn't have asked for more and I would highly recommend Home Instead to anyone who needs this service.

Professional, reliable and caring are the words which come to mind when thinking about Home Instead. My mother-in-law has been using the service for over a year now and we have found them nothing but flexible and adaptable to her changing needs, for example, they arranged extra companionship visits whilst a friend was away for an extended period. A surprise benefit has been the visits from other carers who cover holidays etc; at first reluctant, my mother-in-law now enjoys their visits as it lets her hear and talk about new things. The careful matching of all the carers to her is a testament to the background work all the team puts in to make this a first-class, professional and caring service, which as the name suggests is helping my mother-in-law remain in her own home - thank you.

The carers are efficient, understanding, kind, caring with lovely personalities making the days they come the best days of my week as I live alone so don't see people as my family don't live near me. When I started to plan to have help I thought of carers doing housework, I got that and much more, by feeling special by the way I am treated.
