All staff from the agency have been professional, kind and hard-working. I cannot recommend Home Instead highly enough, they really pulled out all the stops and provided a high level of care and support.

Fantastic care provided. Carers go above and beyond. Personal service. They are keen to get to know my grandmother and look after her. They spend quality time with her. They get to know what she likes and doesn't like. The carers assist the family hugely.

Our independent 97-year-old grandmother became unwell in January 2024. Despite wishing to remain independent, her sudden deterioration in health made this impossible. We contacted Home instead who visited our grandmother to assess her needs. We initially commenced a package of care consisting of 3 visits per day. This was reduced to daily in accordance with our grandmother's needs and wishes. Within weeks, Nan was nearing the end of her life. Home instead went above and beyond to ensure that not only our grandmother's needs were met, but that our family were ok too. The Home Instead team have been incredible. They provided us with kindness and reassurance at all times. The online app enabled us to read the daily entries in Nan's notes which was extremely beneficial on the days that we were unable to visit Nan. We would highly recommend Home Instead. They provided exceptional care, companionship, and peace of mind and we would most definitely use them again in the future.

When my mother began to need extra help and care at home, we chose Home Instead, from first contact the Service Manager was professional, responsive but above all caring and supportive. Mum's Care Team have been exceptional, kind, compassionate and sensitive to her needs: Mum was ambivalent about accepting care at first, but now appreciates and looks forward to their visits. Had a great experience with this service, we only used it for a short while as we got our loved one into a residential home - but felt the team were flexible, accessible and accommodating of our needs - they made helpful suggestions and the girls who visited friendly and we felt safe leaving our loved one in their care given they could be difficult - we only used the service for keeping our loved one safe and for company but I’m confident of their professionalism and ability to have provided more had we needed it - I would recommend their service based on our experience.

Special praise must go to one staff member in particular, who attended during the final days, and at her death; incredibly caring.

All carers who visited my mother treated her with dignity and respect, very supportive of her when she tried to regain her independence, As sh. became less mobile she enjoyed the interaction. At the end of life, the carers were very supportive of my mother and family members present at the actual time of passing.

From start to finish all my family have been very pleased with the service our parents received from Home Instead. My parents found it difficult to admit they needed care but over time they both enjoyed having the company and help.

I’ve been using Home Instead since returning home from hospital. From the beginning, everything was done efficiently and promptly. The manager helped set up my care plan and has been checking in regularly. The ladies that come and visit are very nice, friendly and easy to chat to. Nothing seems to be too much for them. They have helped build my confidence and get through day to day routines after my surgery. I will be recommending them to everyone.

My long standing friend has been having careers three times a day from Home Instead (Medway & Gravesham) for three months now, and cannot speak highly enough of them. He lives opposite me so I can see comings and goings, the carers are always on time and are there for a full hour each time they call. They are all very kind and caring, and my old friend (98 years old) now looks forward to their visits. Also, the care coordinators are vert good and any time I am concerned I can ring them, so in all everything is excellent.
