My mum was always treated with kindness and respect.
The carers looked after her beautifully and update me regularly with any queries or concerns. The access to the electronic care plan was ideal as I live some distance away and gave additional reassurance.

The founder and manager and her team have been providing support/care services for my mum since September 2024. The ladies are polite, friendly and approachable in their approach to our mother and her immediate family members. At times my mother can present with challenging behaviour due to the nature
of her illness, this said the core team of caregivers continue to do their tasks unfazed. The carers are patient, compassionate and caring.
I would recommend Patkay Care Services if asked.

I was recommended this care company when I was researching care companies after having bad experience with my father's care from another company. From the first initial meeting my mum felt at ease as did I. She was allocated two carers who were both amazing they treated her with respect and dignity.
In fact all the carers were trained to a high standard. On a couple of occasions they had to call an ambulance for mum, the carers stayed with her until the paramedics took over her care, and management kept me informed. If you are looking for a care company for a loved one please give this company a try. It is more than a job for this company, they truly care. Since mum sadly passed away, I have still had support from the manager, and I will be forever grateful.

The way you are engaging and looking after our Dad is wonderful. You are all so kind and compassionate and you have lots of time for him, you are so respectful. Even on the days when Dad is not at his best, you manage to lift his spirits with your smiles and positive outlook. Myself and my family all
feel the same and we don't have a bad word to say about the level of care and attention you give to Dad.

When looking for care for Mum we were lucky enough to find Patkay who also came highly recommended by someone else we know, we tried the 6-week trial and they have all been so lovely, caring and attentive to Mum even on her grumpy days, they are extremely understanding and really care for their patients.
We recently had the review in August and we didn't hesitate that we want to stay with them, mum is happy with the level of care and so are we, they take the pressure off me and my sister since the loss of our dad in July, we have faced a very difficult summer this year and Patkay have been fabulous at keeping us all going and supporting mum with her grief, we would highly recommend Patkay, 100% friendly, 100% trustworthy and I love that they have an app which notifies you of which staff to expect, and to also upload any information we feel Patkay should know about mum and vice versa. Thank you to the manager and her wonderful caring team for taking great care of mum.

I have used Patkay Care Services for some months now. I have found them to be professional, caring and courteous.
They have looked after my mother, who can be a bit difficult. We tailored the care package for her, for instance using older staff who wouldn't accept her obstructive behaviour. My mother
has benefited from the structure she now has. Recommended.

My father became very ill in February, and my 85-year-old mother was unable to care for him. Patkay's efficient, friendly and professional staff were there to help -always in a kind, dignified and compassionate way. Both my parents appreciated them enormously, and my mother especially appreciated the
emotional support they were able to give her, making it possible for my father to spend his last days at home, in comfort, with people he trusted.

Patkay looked after my wife from December 2021 until her death. The carers visited four times a day, and were always friendly. Sometimes they could get her to laugh, which was good to hear as she was sometimes in pain. They would always go beyond the minimum, persuading her to eat or drink and doing
their best to make her comfortable, as well as turning on the TV and adjusting the programmes or sound level to suit her.

Patkay took over the care of my father-in-law after I was unhappy with the service he was previously receiving. The company and carers always give the best care to my father-in-law. They are friendly and polite and I often hear laughter coming from his room. My father-in-law has just recently been offered
his own bungalow so will be moving out in the next week and I’m happy and confident that they will continue to take good care of him in his own property. I’ll miss our morning chats but hoping to see them when I’m visiting my father-in-law.

Pleased how they have helped my mum in so many ways and the boss is very easy to talk to with any concerns. The care staff will help you with any concerns besides listening to your views regarding your parent or family member. if any concerns are raised about your loved one they will let you know immediately.

Yes they help me with my back pain being so bad by making my life easier. And make sure my life goes smooth by making my food when I can’t walk so far. Doing a good job and then you do my shopping and then I can get fed.

The service my mum has received from Patkay has been excellent. The carers are very kind and considerate and nothing is too much trouble for them. They have picked up prescriptions, brought fish and chips and have sat and fed Mum when she wasn’t feeding herself. They always treat her with respect and
inform me straight away if they have any concerns about her health or well-being. With the experience we’ve had with Patkay, we could highly recommend them.

I’ve had these care providers since the 1st of Jan 2024. This care service was to replace a care service that didn’t look after my mum properly and I’ve got to say it’s like night and day. I'm no longer stressed because PatKay has proven that they can care for my mum and have her best interest at heart.
To watch her interact with the carer who came to see her when I was there showed that my mum was relaxed with the carer and was comfortable with her helping her. I know it’s only been a couple of months but I have had no complaints up to now and feel I can now breathe again knowing mum is being well cared for.

Following a comprehensive home survey involving myself and my mum we commenced our bespoke care package in early December. We are delighted with Patkay Care. No complaints from my mum.

The team visited the client (an old lady) twice a day for about three months this summer, before she went into residential accommodation. The carers were all very reliable, patient, gentle and good-humoured. They were very keen to do a good job and help her as much as possible. They immediately informed
us of anything they felt we should know.
All members of the team were very conscientious and professional in relation to administering prescribed medication. The client liked all her carers and enjoyed a lot of shared laughter with them.

The team have worked with my grandma and are extremely friendly and hard-working. They consider all her needs and are always polite and chatty with her. They are very professional and respond quickly to any requests or suggestions and try to be accommodating. Each person who has worked with my grandma
has ensured she felt comfortable, therefore as a family, we are extremely happy with the service. Especially, as when there have been any issues we have been contacted immediately which provides us with great reassurance that she is being well looked after.

The service provided by the carers who visited my father twice a day was very good. They were caring, gentle, polite and accommodating. The team always responded to phone calls and were flexible when my father went into respite care. Thank you for all your help over the last seven months.

My name is Patience Karuwa and I'm the Founder of Patkay care services since 2014. I'm from a mental health nurse background for the past 11yrs working in the national health services. During my career within NHS, I worked in the medium forensic services for 7 years I have gained valuable skills in working within the wider Multidisciplinary teams. Also, I have worked within mental health community services with older people specialising in dementia care. Having the opportunity to work with older people in the community I felt the motivation of making a difference in people's life-supporting them in their own homes and improving their quality of life providing so they can be home for as long as they want and avoid the admission into hospital and nursing homes. therefore I thought establishing this company was the stepping stone to supporting those in need.
