Excellent service. So good with my parent, I would highly recommend them. Nothing is a problem. So caring and kind and helpful. Will do anything, nothing is a big deal, well worth the money to know your parents are in safe hands.

The team are very friendly and work hard to consider the client's care and needs. They are polite and always talk to the client about what they are doing.
Whenever requests or suggestions have been made, they have always responded well and tried to accommodate.
The online report is particularly
useful for family to see what is going on. I am just concerned that it takes a large amount of time to fill in.

My mum receives care from two very kind and gentle ladies. They are respectful, caring and reliable. My mum was initially reluctant to the idea of carers coming in, but they have worked gently with her to make her feel comfortable and accept the care that is being offered. I would recommend this company.

I am extremely happy with the service I am getting from Patkay. All the ladies are really nice and caring. They are really helpful and do a good job I am very great full to them all. I have been in their care since December and appreciate every visit, thanks to all of them.

Patkay provided palliative care for my mum from June - August 2022.
We could not have asked for a better care provider as they were absolutely wonderful. Mum was very frail and had lost the use of her left arm but this was not an issue for the team as they had been well trained to handle mum and were
gentle and careful not to hurt her whilst washing and dressing her. They were always patient and compassionate and nothing was ever too much trouble. All the team had big hearts, were friendly and would chat away which was great for mum who towards the end of her life was unable to leave the house. I would have no hesitation in recommending their professional services to care for a loved one.

We have been totally satisfied with the care package. All the ladies are friendly, personable and utterly professional. They are very patient with Mum, who can be challenging at times due to the early onset of dementia! They always contact me if there are any worries/issues with Mum, and this gives
me the reassurance I need that she is being looked after. They are also quick to act upon any changes I have to ask them to put in place, for example, administering extra medication. She was very apprehensive at first over the need for this care, telling us she didn't need help and could manage! However, she quickly appreciated the help given and talks about her 'ladies' now as friends and how lovely they are. I know we couldn't do without them.

We are extremely happy with the care given to Mum. Everyone is very friendly and takes time to get to know family members too. Mum is happy with care too from the carers. From the first day to the last I couldn’t have asked for a better team to handle my father's palliative care. They were so patient and caring towards my father and I truly believe that without them my father wouldn’t have passed so peacefully. Very polite and understanding towards me and my brothers

My father is really pleased with the care he has had. Carers understand his needs and his medical condition. He feels very comfortable with them and especially enjoys chatting. They have improved his quality of life with conversation and trips out to visit his friend.

A social worker found the care company for us and I could not have found a better care provider myself. From the outset, the care leader and her team were polite, caring, explained everything they were doing and treated the client with dignity. Nothing was too much trouble and a smile goes a long way
to put a person at ease. I would have no hesitation in recommending this care company.

After a slow start and since Patkay Care Services has become the main carer, we are making some progress. It would be better if initial calls being made were done by a carer as less stressful for me. However, the carer has gone beyond being helpful when meeting in town to resolve issues with me, on
occasion staying beyond the allotted time. It would also be better to have two hours each visit as would get more done in shorter time.

Patkay Care Services have been very helpful in dealing with my need for a carer each night and enabling me to settle comfortably in bed. In the morning I am able to get washed and dressed and am grateful for the carer cleaning up and bed making.

My name is Patience Karuwa and I'm the Founder of Patkay care services since 2014. I'm from a mental health nurse background for the past 11yrs working in the national health services. During my career within NHS, I worked in the medium forensic services for 7 years I have gained valuable skills in working within the wider Multidisciplinary teams. Also, I have worked within mental health community services with older people specialising in dementia care. Having the opportunity to work with older people in the community I felt the motivation of making a difference in people's life-supporting them in their own homes and improving their quality of life providing so they can be home for as long as they want and avoid the admission into hospital and nursing homes. therefore I thought establishing this company was the stepping stone to supporting those in need.
