The team have worked with my grandma and are extremely friendly and hard-working. They consider all her needs and are always polite and chatty with her. They are very professional and respond quickly to any requests or suggestions and try to be accommodating. Each person who has worked with my grandma has ensured she felt comfortable, therefore as a family, we are extremely happy with the service. Especially, as when there have been any issues we have been contacted immediately which provides us with great reassurance that she is being well looked after.

The service provided by the carers who visited my father twice a day was very good. They were caring, gentle, polite and accommodating. The team always responded to phone calls and were flexible when my father went into respite care. Thank you for all your help over the last seven months.

The online report is particularly useful for family to see what is going on. I am just concerned that it takes a large amount of time to fill in.

My mum receives care from two very kind and gentle ladies. They are respectful, caring and reliable. My mum was initially reluctant to the idea of carers coming in, but they have worked gently with her to make her feel comfortable and accept the care that is being offered. We could not have asked for a better care provider as they were absolutely wonderful. Mum was very frail and had lost the use of her left arm but this was not an issue for the team as they had been well trained to handle mum and were gentle and careful not to hurt her whilst washing and dressing her. They were always patient and compassionate and nothing was ever too much trouble. All the team had big hearts, were friendly and would chat away which was great for mum who towards the end of her life was unable to leave the house. I would have no hesitation in recommending their professional services to care for a loved one.

We have been totally satisfied with the care package. All the ladies are friendly, personable and utterly professional. They are very patient with Mum, who can be challenging at times due to the early onset of dementia! They always contact me if there are any worries/issues with Mum, and this gives me the reassurance I need that she is being looked after. They are also quick to act upon any changes I have to ask them to put in place, for example, administering extra medication. She was very apprehensive at first over the need for this care, telling us she didn't need help and could manage! However, she quickly appreciated the help given and talks about her 'ladies' now as friends and how lovely they are. I know we couldn't do without them.

We are extremely happy with the care given to Mum. Everyone is very friendly and takes time to get to know family members too. Mum is happy with care too from the carers. They are happy to follow instructions if things change - three particular members are all great to have around us, and the help is welcoming to ease the pressure.

From the first day to the last I couldn’t have asked for a better team to handle my father's palliative care. They were so patient and caring towards my father and I truly believe that without them my father wouldn’t have passed so peacefully. Very polite and understanding towards me and my brothers and lovely people to speak to. I’ll forever thank them for everything that they did.

Provided compassionate support to my elderly father enabling him to remain safe and independent at home for longer after a series of falls and hospital admissions. Nothing was too much effort. We were kept updated at all times. I am confident to state that this is a professional company who set and maintain high standards. They genuinely care for the people in their charge.

A social worker found the care company for us and I could not have found a better care provider myself. From the outset, the care leader and her team were polite, caring, explained everything they were doing and treated the client with dignity. Patkay Care Services responded promptly to our initial enquiries and provided a caring and professional service, which was supportive and met our needs, including being understanding when those needs changed.

After a slow start and since Patkay Care Services has become the main carer, we are making some progress. It would be better if initial calls being made were done by a carer as less stressful for me. However, the carer has gone beyond being helpful when meeting in town to resolve issues with me, on occasion staying beyond the allotted time. It would also be better to have two hours each visit as would get more done in shorter time.
