Kathleen’s passion has always been client service, she has spent more than 30 years in retail banking, initially developing the ideal of “Relationship Banking” in a time before banks became digitised and all transactions were online, client relations were of central focus and the relationships were built on trust and outcomes.
Kathleen’s vast experience makes her a valued asset as a member of the Walfinch franchising team. Her roles in management have covered staff retention and recruitment and branch and area target setting and budgeting, as well as client retention.
Kathleen has a patient, empathetic approach with open communication lines which has allowed her to develop successful teams who together have won many target and service awards.
“I believe that building strong, motivated teams, working contentedly in their chosen fields, will deliver the care and kindness needed for domiciliary care.
In 2019 I spent 5 months with Walfinch working as a live-in carer, during this time I got to experience first-hand the support and guidance offered by Walfinch to their dedicated team of carers and clients. I was also able to intimately understand the needs of both carer and client and I look forward to implementing this knowledge.
Having managed teams in the past I strongly believe that anyone who leads a team needs to be happy within themselves, with this in mind I try to live a balanced healthy lifestyle make time for family and friends and being naturally energetic I enjoy keeping fit by playing badminton with a local club.”
Tracy has a strong corporate background in both sales and management and has always thrived in a client-focused environment with an emphasis on delivering excellent service. Tracy has gained an exceptional understanding of the care industry since joining Walfinch as a recruiter for South African carers, a job which allowed her to foster and grow her passion to serve and her ability to help others achieve.
“It has always been my passion to own and run a business of my own. Coming from a very close family with exceptionally strong core values, Walfinch has provided a platform to fulfil that passion, providing care for elderly and vulnerable clients. I love to see the difference we make to them and their own families, by delivering domiciliary care with compassion and confidence.
I have learnt in my time with Walfinch that employing the right carers is the cornerstone of success for this industry. Having worked independently for many years, I am a self-starter and problem solver. My clients know that they can trust me to find solutions and get the job done effortlessly. My strength is my passion for building lasting client relationships and delivering beyond their expectations.”
