I liked that the manager brought my carers to meet me as part of the introduction process. I cannot fault the care and attention they gave to me. Nothing was too much trouble. I am 92 years old, and everything I asked of them to do, they did willingly, such as cooking my lunch, cleaning tasks and ironing. They were thorough and caring in whatever I asked of them. I would recommend having them at any time.
It is an honour being given the opportunity to offer you the support that you requested. We are very pleased that our process, whereby our manager introduces your carer has worked so well for you. On behalf of all the team, thank you for your kind feedback.
My daughter found Visiting Angels for us. My wife had been in hospital for five weeks and she could not come out until we had a care package in place. We are very pleased, all the carers that have come to us are great. I don't think we could have found a better company. Very happy.
The care provided by the Visiting Angels carer has been invaluable to my father, and us as a family, in maintaining his well-being and ability to continue living in his own environment, be it showering, bed changing, light domestic duties, having a cup of coffee and chat is as important to him as any help he receives! Companionship is definitely a key part of his visits. Visiting Angels have been very professional and thoughtful in all their dealings with us, even to popping around to visit on his 100th Birthday!
Thank you for the wonderful feedback. I am so pleased to know that we have made a positive impact, not just on your father's life, but on his family's as well. Companionship is a key element to promoting a client's overall well-being, and we are grateful to be able to spend that time with your...
I have nothing but praise for my Visiting Angels. They are kind and caring and nothing is too much trouble for them, always cheerful giving a huge boost to morale. Very reliable, nearly always on time and if there is any delay, they ring to let me know. The company looks after its carers, which is important, making their schedules as convenient as possible for them with minimum travelling and other considerations. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Visiting Angels to anyone.
Thank you very much for your kind words. I will pass your message on to the Angels.
As a family, we needed to find some care for Dad as he was a long way away and he has dementia, meaning he had trouble looking after himself, despite him not accepting this! It was the best decision we ever made. All the Angels have looked after Dad so well, despite some difficulties my dad brings to the situation. They enabled him to stay at home much longer. They also brought us such peace of mind, knowing he was so cared for and safe.
It has been our great pleasure looking after your dad. He is a wonderful character, we wish him all the very best. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to assist him in maintaining his independence at home for as long as possible. We are always there if you need us, even if it's for a chat!
Both carers very gentle. Did anything I requested. Very attentive and pleasant.
Thank you for taking the time to review us. Our bespoke person-centred care is all about treating each client as an individual and so tailoring to their own needs. It was a pleasure assisting you during your recovery. Thank you for choosing Visiting Angels East Dorset. We are very grateful.
I’m currently a live-in carer for my elderly landlord who suffers from vascular dementia. However, as I also still work full time elsewhere, I was very happy that his immediate family put him forward six months ago, for the Visiting Angels program, as it relieves me of some of my burdens during the afternoon and late hours of the morning, etc. As I live at the property 24/7, I can gladly confirm that he is well looked after during their visiting hours and more importantly a big shout out to two carers in particular, who have been absolutely wonderful as Visiting Angels. If my mother needs these services in the years to come, I’ll know who to look up!
Thank you. We are very happy to offer the care and support required. You are also doing a great job!
I've had a lovely experience from the very start. It was important to me to have the same caregiver. She has given me a lot of confidence, which I couldn't have found on my own. Now I am getting back to normal, which I am thrilled about. My caregiver has been excellent and I view her more as a friend.
Thank you for your lovely compliments. We are very happy that we have been able to support you through what has been an extremely challenging time for you. Your caregiver, one of our wonderful Visiting Angels, has been awarded caregiver of the month by way of recognition. Always there, if you need us!
I highly recommend Visiting Angels for home care. I live overseas and had an urgent need to arrange short-term care for my mother over Christmas and into the new year. Within 24 hours Visiting Angels had provided a rota of care starting the following day. I was relieved knowing that my mother was incapable and caring hands. The professionalism, efficiency and communication by email and phone were excellent. I would not hesitate to contact Visiting Angels again should I require future care for my mother.
It is a pleasure looking after your mother. We are there any time you need us despite the distance between Australia and the UK.
Can not recommend this home care provider enough, their attention to detail and genuine care and compassion towards their patients really sets them apart. I am over 200 miles away from my Mother and it was so reassuring to have the level of communication the team extended to me, keeping me in the loop at all times. They really have set the bar in terms of the level of care they provided - all carers practice the same strong work ethic and my Mother has been delighted with every carer who is on their Team, they are all of an extremely diligent standard. Thank you for going above and beyond - 'angels' indeed!
It is our pleasure liaising with you and taking care of your wonderful mother. Thank you for your kind words.
My sister and I have been using the services of a carer from Visiting Angels in Christchurch to attend our mother, who has dementia. The staff have taken time and care to make sure they selected the right carer for our Mum and have been a support to us in this new journey of trying to keep our Mum at home and keep some independence. Nothing is too much trouble and I cannot recommend them highly enough. The carer has been understanding, patient and professional and Visiting Angels are giving regular feedback to us in these early stages, when we need it most. We are very lucky to have found them and cannot thank them enough.
Tracy. Thank you so much for your lovely comments. We are very grateful and privileged that you have entrusted us to deliver care and support to your mother. I will pass on your kind words to your mum's carer.
I cannot recommend Visiting Angels enough. The previous carers never had time for Mum and the visits were often rushed and important issues were often missed. Taking on Mum's care, they immediately set about creating a care package/care plan that was tailored to Mum's needs. They ensured that all aids were checked and where necessary, replaced to ensure Mum's safety. Taking into consideration Mum's dementia, they also allocated a small number of carers they felt would suit Mum. All the staff treat Mum with dignity and respect, ensuring that she does not feel any unnecessary stress and is not rushed. They also provide Mum with much-needed companionship. My Mum is now so much happier and I feel like I’ve had a weight lifted off my shoulders. I am so confident in their caregiving, that I feel so much more relaxed and I am able to spend more quality time with her. Thank you Visiting Angels.
Julia, thank you for your wonderful review. It is our absolute pleasure giving your amazing mum all the support that she needs, and to see the transformation now that the care required is being given.

Caring for people has always been present in both my personal and professional life. Growing up in Poland instilled in me strong family values and respect for the elderly; these values have remained with me throughout my life. Being able to support my loved ones means so much to me, and having the chance to be a part of the Visiting Angels family has given me an opportunity to share my caring nature, not only with our wonderful clients and their families but also with our caregivers who are at the heart of everything we do.
My career prior to Visiting Angels includes retail customer service, an Ofsted registered childminder and for some time, the NHS as a carer and later a community physiotherapist. Adding my customer focus skills to my experience in the NHS gives me confidence in dealing with the different needs of our clients and their families.
I continued to fly around the world as an airline Customer Service Manager until aviation was badly affected by Covid-19, at which point I lost the job I loved. However, in 2021 I moved with my family from Brighton to New Milton, which I find to be a beautiful part of the world, has proved to be a great decision. I am now also living close to my elderly mum, who requires some support and being nearby, I can now take care of her. She is so happy and has a new lease of life!
Having spent much of my career taking care of people, it seemed the obvious choice to bring Visiting Angels Quality at Home Care, along with my passion for customer service and treating everyone as an individual, to the community of East Dorset and the New Forest.
My partner, who was an NHS worker during the pandemic, has joined me on my mission to bring unrushed quality care and support to clients and their families.
I truly look forward to meeting and supporting you in any way I possibly can.
Steve
From chatting with clients and families, supporting our amazing Angel Caregivers, and keeping in touch with GP surgeries and district nurses, Lara is often the friendly voice on the other end of the phone, making sure everyone gets what they need.
She also puts together our rota each week, matching caregivers with clients and juggling all the little changes that come up, always with patience, a sense of humour, and a real “can-do” attitude.
Lara is one of those people who’s always happy to help, no matter what’s going on. Her positivity, kindness, and willingness to go the extra mile make her a much-loved part of the team.
