The care was put in place at very short notice when my partner was discharged ftom hospital after a nasty fall and I had to attend a funeral - it was beyond expectation in terms of the carers who attended - it was round the clock care as my partner was fragile and needed 24 hour support. Can't recommend
highly enough. It bailed me out of a difficult situation and Home Instead pulled out all the stops to make sure appropriate care was in place. I can't thank them enough.

Well what can I not say about this care. I can't Thank the team enough or have all the words to express the care received for my dad who refused for so long. Yet he adored each and everyone of you, the care shown was amazing, the empathy and trust, nothing was ever to much always going one step more
for our dad and building such trust.The couple of visits to the hospital meant so much too...If your after care for your family 100% go with Home instead. The care shown will never be forgotten for our dad and towards us in his final days.

I cannot thank Home Instead enough for their respectful and tender care of Dad and their sensitive support of Mum over his last few weeks.
My Dad needed home care from discharge from hospital, mid-2024 until his death late October - initially, this was provided by another agency appointed by the
NHS/Coventry Social Services. We heard about Home Instead through a personal recommendation from an old family friend and neighbour who was already a client. Home Instead was able to offer a higher, more holistic level of care to both my parents over this very difficult time. They were compassionate, professional and a huge support to me in navigating the nightmare of the current healthcare/social care system offered to elderly dementia sufferers. With their support, Dad passed away peacefully at home as he would have wished.
I look forward to reengaging Home Instead to support Mum living alone at home when the time is right.

My mum had care from Home Instead for the past two and a half years until she passed away. Their excellent care that went above and beyond enabled her to stay at home which was her main wish. My mum had other carers in the past but they were nowhere near to the standard of this team. Through these excellent
carers my mum's personal needs were taken care of to a high standard and she was treated with dignity at all times. My mum looked forward to their visits and that included the management staff as nothing was too much trouble, we all think of them as part of the family. We were informed at all times if they felt Mum was unwell or had bed sores so we knew straight away to contact the doctor. Once Mum became bed-bound and under Palliative Care their help ensured she carried on staying at home as was her wish. On behalf of my mum and the rest of the family we thank Home Instead with all of our hearts.

My sister and I cannot thank the care manager and her team enough. Our 95 year old mum has been treated with kindness and respect. The carers take the time to chat and provide companionship, while they also go "above and beyond" to help with household duties, including shopping. Their help has been
invaluable.

I have found Home Instead carers to be such a great help, they are very supportive, on time with a cheerful smile and nothing is too much trouble for them. They are happy to do a variety of jobs which may vary from day to day, as well as helping me to have a shower. I have already recommended them to

We have been working with Home Instead since March. At our Assessment meeting, we set out our hopes and goals for my husband to gain as much independence with his personal care as possible and to improve his mobility and stamina.
The staff have been brilliant, they arrive when agreed and have worked
with my husband - with humour, empathy and conversation- allowing him his dignity and encouraging him to do as much as he can for himself.
It is with some sadness that we have said 'goodbye' to our wonderful carer this morning as we feel ready to cope on our own. However, we will not hesitate to call on them again when our needs change.
We fully recommend Home Instead, they provide a caring, reassuring and professional service.

We have been using Home Instead to provide care for my husband who has dementia and other health issues and support for myself for 12 months. During that time, we have been looked after by a fantastic group of highly skilled and well-trained carers who never fail to go the extra mile. They are diligent,
respectful, patient and caring and follow impeccable infection control procedures. We look forward to their visits and now see them all as friends. My family very much appreciates the fact that they can see the care notes on a special app and it is always easy for us to access the management team if required. The management team is very hands-on and approachable. We are always informed if there are likely to be any delays in arrival or change of carer. I can honestly say that this team which is very ably led, provide the epitome of person-centred care and I can wholeheartedly recommend them.

Home Instead care agency was recommended to me by my cousin when I was looking into providing care for my mother who has dementia. I have found them very professional in all my dealings with them over the last six months. They have provided a variety of assistance for my mother over this time and I

Home Instead care agency was recommended to me by friends. I have been very happy with the care, attention and friendship my elderly relative received over nearly two years.
I found the staff approachable, prompt to respond to any queries/questions and more than willing to help with extra things on
top of the day-to-day care. This includes preparations for medical procedures and emergency maintenance on the property.
The relationship between all the carers and my relative was one of trust. He was pleased to have their support in the home and outside for exercise whenever the weather was suitable. They were good at talking, listening and helping him manage his feelings.

I contacted Home Instead in April 2022 after my mother had been persuaded against my better judgment to 'try out' a care home. She hated every minute of it and wanted to return home to her apartment at a retirement village. I wanted the best care possible for her as her needs are quite complex and I
couldn't have made a better choice. The carers treat Mum so well that I think she regards them as daughters and I certainly regard the whole care team as friends. We all work together well which is so important as she has very little local family support. Distance is no barrier as I live 12,000 miles away, communication is seamless.

I came to Home Instead (Coventry South) recently after a distressing experience at another agency.
I was very anxious about "moving on" but within days, I felt safe and supported by the kindly staff.
As the months have passed, I have grown in confidence and my mobility and general health have improved
considerably.
At Home Instead (Coventry South), I feel part of a very loving family. This is especially important to me as my closest relatives live in America.

I wanted an agency that was able to provide a main carer for my husband, who would put all of his needs first and arrive at and stay for the agreed times without rushing his care. Home Instead has done exactly that and more. It is always easy to communicate with the manager and owner, both of whom try
to meet any additional and/or changing requirements. It is obvious that the carers are well-trained in their caring role and that there is an overriding client-centred ethos. They pay appropriate attention to client safety and any changing health issues that may arise. The manager has come to our house on more than one occasion so that she can be engaged first-hand, along with the carer, when we have had occupational and physiotherapists on site. The house is always left clean and tidy, and I have also benefitted from useful and valuable advice on my own caring role with my husband. I have always felt comfortable when I have gone out, knowing that my husband is being well looked after.

The team at Coventry South, treated my dad with respect, allowing him to stay in his home for as long as practicable. Although all the team delivered a great service, my dad developed a bond with his principal carer, looking forward to his visits and companionship. The care manager and owner both kept
me updated on my dad's condition and assisted with contacting emergency services when required.

I called on Home Instead, as my 98 year old father was struggling with various care needs but was adamant that he wanted to remain as home. The team came out and fully assessed his needs as well as finding out what his likes and dislikes were. Since then they have cared for him in an extremely professional
but also a very kind way. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the team and my Dad really looks forward to their daily visits. The house is immaculate and so is my Dad! Just before they started to visit my Dad had a fall and sustained some cuts and bruises. They have carefully monitored his condition and have arranged for the district nurse to visit. I can highly recommend this friendly, hard working company to keep your loved ones safe and happy.

Home Instead was originally recommended to me by a friend who uses their services to support her mother at home who has had Alzheimer's for many years. My elderly mother has used the service for just over 12 months to support her with showering, getting dressed and light housekeeping tasks. As a family,
we particularly like the fact that there is continuity of care by one nominated CareGiver, with one/two additional CareGivers nominated to cover holidays. This personal element of knowing who will visit each time is so important to my mother and it is great to see it working in practice. In addition to completing the core care tasks, the CareGiver will try and spend the last 5-10 minutes of the visit sitting down to have a chat, spend time getting to know my mother and to ask how she is doing. Again, this personal touch is valued by my mother and provides her family with the reassurance that she is well cared for by the Home Instead team.

I had to arrange care for my parents quickly. My mother had been my fathers sole carer for years, but she was starting to struggle and was due to have surgery on her hand. Home Instead were able to sort out a suitable care package within a few days. All phone calls and emails were promptly answered
and my parents needs and wishes were always taken into consideration. The carers provide an excellent service and my parents now think of them as friends. My father can sometimes get a bit depressed but he soon cheers up once he starts chatting with carers and he often bursts into song. They often sing along with him which is a lovely thing to do. I would definitely recommend Home Instead. They provide a very professional, caring, and reliable service.

Home Instead have been providing a personal care service to my mother since 2021. I am the principal carer on behalf of the family.
Mum was initially assessed for her care needs by the care manager, and we agreed her care plan which is regularly reviewed. Mum and I were clear we did not wish different
carers attending her and that to establish the team I would be present at the first attendance.
Mum has a regular carer but as back-up three other carers are part of her team. She really likes all her carers and they have always delivered the care plan as agreed. Her feedback is they are kind and chatty and seems to manage her variable mood swings due to her dementia.
We flex up the visits when needed and I receive the names of the carers who will attend.
Mum and I are very happy with the care provided and the management team are extremely helpful and responsive to any changing needs.

My background is in the healthcare industry, where I provided professional private hearing services for 20 years, supporting people with their hearing instruments, and forming relationships with clients who stayed with me for years. My audiology clients were predominantly from the older age group, and through this, I became increasingly aware that receiving good quality care in your own home is an important factor in maintaining an independent and good quality of life.


Members of my own family have needed care in recent years, and while searching for support, I wish I had been aware of Home Instead and their dedicated team of Care Professionals. I aim to help families within my area by providing the kind of care I want for my family.


I am married, with two young sons who are bursting with energy, so my wife and I enjoy taking them away for short breaks to burn some of it off, usually at the coast in Cornwall, Dorset or Norfolk. I coach my eldest son’s football team and enjoy playing golf and running.

I am a Dementia Ambassador and have a passion to provide specialist care to people living with Dementia.
