Radfield have adapted to provide the most appropriate care for our mother. Their carers are kind, compassionate and reliable. They will do the jobs our Mum requests of them, find jobs or just stay and chat. Their help means that Mum can remain independent in her own home.

They have definitely built a lovely relationship with her and even enjoyed carrying out the relevant physio exercises to keep her mobile.
I cannot praise the staff highly enough. They are really caring and respect you and nothing is too much trouble. As I haven't got any family, they make you feel like family.

Once I had gotten used to your carers coming in to help me twice a day I have now accepted their help and expertise. The staff who have visited me have been courteous, patient, kind, and willing to help me with any task I am unable to tackle myself - all very frustrating for me! We are very happy with my husband’s sitter - he looks forward to him coming. We are very thankful that the sitter is a very good match for my husband. He helps him with his walking - doing lots of exercises. Unfortunately, we find it very expensive so can’t afford our sitter as much as we would like.

My mother-in-law has been receiving home care visits from Radfield Home Care since April 2023. The management team are excellent. They carried out visits prior to providing the service to assess the care needed, look at facilities at the home and make contact with my mother-in-law. The management team have been on call 24/7 and been fantastic. The care professionals carrying out the visits have been excellent, not only with the normal care duties, but the companionship. They are all so lovely and it is evident that they do their jobs because they actually care about what they are doing, rather than turning up for work. They have encouraged my mother-in-law to do things that she hasn't wanted to do for her benefit; little things like getting to eat at the dinner table rather than her recliner, which has helped with her mobility. The most important thing, is that my mother-in-law is happy and the whole team at Radfield feel like friends.

Radfield could not have taken better care for my husband. The staff were always so polite and helpful and went out of their way to assist in any way possible. We chose Radfield Home Care after a very poor experience with another 'care' company. We were visited by the care manager to fully understand my parents' needs and she was exceptionally kind, caring and interested in my parents as people. Communication in advance of them starting was excellent and my parents were delighted with the carer who began to work with them. Sadly, on the second day my father passed away and the poor carer found him. The team from Radfield supported my mother whilst the emergency services arrived and I travelled to be with her. I could not have asked for more from them and this was for a family they had only been helping for 24 hours. Following that, I received a call from the manager who runs the business. He is genuinely compassionate and kind and it was clear why his staff are the same. I wish we had been using Radfield for the past year, as they are head and shoulders above any carers I have come across. My parents only needed assistance last year, but my in-laws had carers for five years.

What a difference, we have found both the owner and manager lovely, friendly and professional people to deal with.
They are always ready to help, have a kind way of dealing and listening to any concerns we may have.
They arrange the times of care that we need and we really appreciate the detailed summary we get each week with the names of carers and the times they will be visiting.
As an extra point, the carers that visit are also lovely people. They treat us so well and have fitted into our lives perfectly.

Having every reason not to trust anyone, he booked carers from Radfield he has asked why are they being so nice to him. Personally, I find their carers reliable, professional and always available to support my dad at very short notice. They can’t do enough for him.

The carers came at the times arranged, and I was able to negotiate a change of timings once the calls were established. They soon helped my mother to feel secure and comfortable at home whilst I was away. The manager was very helpful when my mother had to receive emergency treatment and kept me informed of her progress. My mother is now in a care home owing to her deterioration; otherwise, we would have continued with Radfield.

I have a carer every day. They are all helpful and considerate. They do their job with no problems. I benefit from the carers. Before the carers, my wife had to do everything, and it was wearing her out. It has made our lives come back to some sort of normality, even though I will degenerate with my MND illness. I find it very hard because I cannot speak, I cannot eat, I struggle to drink, and I struggle to breathe. The carers are very helpful and supportive.

Brilliant care and excellent client support. The manager is a highly professional and caring person who is very easy to work with. There is nothing too much trouble for all the staff who are always available or quick to respond if not available immediately. The client, my elderly mother who is in the middle stages of dementia has had several emergencies throughout the six months she has been a client and the carers have gone out of their way to ensure she is safe and supported up until the ambulance has come to collect her. This has sometimes meant up to a four-hour wait during which every effort possible is made to ensure someone is with her at all times. We have had to make several changes to mothers' care package throughout which they have been invaluable in their intelligent suggestions and ease with which changes are made. Radfield Homecare have been a great find and I am so pleased I chose to use them. Most Highly Recommended.

Really pleased with the care provided. As the mental health of my father grew worse, the carers were patient, giving him the full care he required. He had a fall and the carers called for the ambulance and waited until help arrived. The company kept communicating with me, offering support.

Living alone, I required all aspects of care and assistance following an operation. Radfield provided a professional but friendly service that catered for my physical needs, provided help in the home and at the same time boosted my mental health. The team at Radfield Homecare have always treated my mother with kindness and humour while also providing the practical help required in a professional manner. The care provided is reliable with the carers being punctual. The management team is also quickly accessible via 'phone and happy to assist with changes to our caring schedule.

Akash has a vast background in business and marketing. Having obtained a degree at De Montfort University, he went on to pursue a career in advertising, working with a diverse range of brands. More recently he has been assisting the growth of businesses within the care sector, assisting with marketing campaigns and running online advertisements.
Combining the skills and experience acquired from working in advertising, and the domiciliary care sector Akash will be able to drive enquiries for clients and most importantly recruit the best Care Professionals.
We would like to introduce you to Charlotte Skinner, registered care manager for Radfield Home Care Loughborough, Charnwood & Melton Mowbray.
