Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My father's general health and mobility deteriorated following an episode of shingles in December. My stepmother with whom he lives was diagnosed, also in December, with Alzheimer's and exhibits some associated challenging behaviours.
The carer attends twice a day.
My father requires assistance showering
each morning to help minimise his risk of falling. He is also unsure of his medications so the carer is able to help him take the correct tablets at the correct time. She also makes him breakfast porridge just as he likes it and brings a daily newspaper.
On occasions, she does a little grocery shopping as well as collecting prescriptions from the chemist.
She returns later in the day just to check that they are both ok. She spends time chatting with my stepmother in a professional non-confrontational manner.
We are all very grateful for Willow Support's input enabling them to remain together in their home of 38 years. They are our 'eyes and ears' and always respond to requests.

Words cannot say enough. What an outstanding independent care agency. They have a highly experienced care team; they are very responsive and always at the end of the phone.
The main carer is an absolute delight. She is kind, compassionate and caring. She always goes the extra mile. If you are looking
for an independent, care-focused organisation, then give this company a ring. Couldn’t recommend them anymore.
You can tell that quality of care is at the heartbeat of the service.

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.8 (9.844) out of 10 for Willow Support Ltd is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 17 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.9 out of 5 from 17 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.919 for Willow Support Ltd is calculated as follows: ( (91 Excellents x 5) + (8 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 99 Ratings = 4.919
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

    The 5 points available are broken down as follows: 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.5 Points for the second and third Positive Reviews, 0.25 Points for each of the next two Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3, 2nd = 0.5, 3rd = 0.5, 4th = 0.25, 5th = 0.25, 6th = 0.05, 7th = 0.05, 8th = 0.05, 9th = 0.05, 10th = 0.05, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025)

    The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Willow Support Ltd is based on 17 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 + 0.25 + 0.25 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4.925
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

A warm Willow Support welcome to you!

My name is Ivica Borosak, and I am privileged to be the Director/ Nominated Individual for our independent family-run domiciliary care agency.

I was fortunate enough to come to the UK in 2018. I have worked in the health and social care industry since 2018 working in many roles from supported living to domiciliary care. Since being in the care industry I have built up my knowledge and expertise.

In 2021 I set up and registered Willow Support with CQC. This has allowed me to create an Organisation that ensures the people we support have the highest quality of care where nothing is not possible. For me, it is not about quantity, it is only about quality.

As an independent family-run company, I have been able to build upon my beliefs and philosophies about how individuals should be cared for, and that everyone we support has the care and respect they deserve whilst being in the comfort of their own homes.

I am proud of how my team ensures that everyone receives a warm Willow Support welcome and that they become members of the Willow Support family.

A warm Willow Support welcome to you!

My name is Johnathan, and I am thrilled to be the Registered Manager for Willow Support.

My background is in education where I held many roles from Class Teacher to Senior Leadership - coaching and mentoring (NPQMH). Alongside teaching, I have also been training in coaching and mentoring as part of my Master, as well as developing my skills in British Sign Language and Counselling skills.

I have been in the Health and Social Care industry since 2017. First starting in Continuing Healthcare aiding individuals with brokering packages of care and setting up PHBs (Personal Health Budgets) for individuals. From there I worked for an ‘Outstanding’ independent domiciliary care company where I was the Quality-of-Care Domiciliary Care Manager. I have experience working with independent care companies and franchise care companies also.

I have also been, and still am a consultant in health and social care for other Organisations and since October 2022 have been the Registered Manager for Willow Support.

Willow Support is a wonderful small family-run independent care company and that is what drew me to the organisation. Having that close relationship with the people(s) we care for and support is very rewarding. Knowing that everyone we support has the care and respect they deserve whilst being in the comfort of their own homes.

Being able to assist people to live comfortably in their own homes, having their care needs met and being able to provide that extra little bit is what is so rewarding. Welcoming new people to the Willow Support family and seeing our Clients so content is what it is all about – and as a consequence, I feel that I am in the most privileged position.
