Home Instead (South Lanarkshire - Hamilton)

We have used Home Instead South Lanarkshire to support both Mum and Dad for the last 3 or 4 years. Every member of the team is so warm, friendly and helpful and this has allowed them to remain in their home. My Dad had to go to a home latterly and the support the team from Home Instead gave was incredible and they were so supportive of us as a family and caring for my Dad. We have now kept Home Instead going into see my Mum daily now and knowing that someone is going into see her and help her in anything she requires gives us real peace of mind. Cannot thank them enough.

I found staff to be very friendly,approachable &understanding of our situation .They listened and spoke about ways to set goals potentially enabling progress .Service has run a short time though has afforded me respite :)

The care provided is excellent. Carers show respect and concern and are very flexible and responsive to needs on any given day. Carers often find interests and have good ideas for taking care and improving things.

Staff always helpful and ensure all activities are carried out. Detail written on the app very helpful. Polite at all times and informative to family when required. Approachable and no job is too much trouble. Always let you know if they cannot make the allotted time allowing other arrangements to be made.

Homeinstead has been a great organisation to work with. They have been supporting my dad over last 6 months and adapted to his increasing needs over last 3 months. The office staff and carers are all very friendly and kind. I don't live nearby which means I have to call office sometimes to discuss changes and everyone always friendly and willing to accommodate. The carers themselves are so kind and supportive to my dad. He has liked every one. Highly recommend this organisation as a homecare support service.

Well organised private home care. All tailored to what dad needs and as dad's condition changes (he has Alzheimer's) then it is easy to have the level of care changed with it. Regular team of carers provide great consistency. They provide daily personal care, meal preparation and housekeeping but they also provide dad with just some befriending visits too during the week when they take him out somewhere. This all helps dad stay in his own home at the moment.

Home Instead South Lanarkshire have been providing very good companionship and support to my 92 year old Mother for over 2 years now. Mum loves the staff and all their stories and chat. I have found Aimee who coordinates the staff accessible and understanding and very caring. I would highly recommend the team if you re looking for flexible support.

I would comment that due to the schedules involved, the time committed to the customer can be curtailed because of the need to get from one client to the next in general.

The Home Instead team have been a fantastic support to my mum who has Alzheimers. Her carer visits two times each week to help with shopping, cleaning and companionship. The same carer comes on a regular basis and this consistency has been really important for mum to build trust and confidence. She is very comfortable with the team and we have been delighted with the standard of service and care. Communication with the office is excellent and there are regular reviews of performance. I would highly recommend Home Instead.

The team at our local franchise is not large and it has been easy for me to get to know, and be known by, the office staff as well as the carers.
