Ann Marie has worked in care since she was 16, and it has shaped every part of who she is. What started as a stepping into her first-ever care role has grown into a lifelong passion built on compassion, resilience, and a genuine love for supporting people to live well and safely in their own homes. She has worked her way up from being a carer to senior carer, then Deputy Manager and then Registered Manager.
Throughout her career, she has supported individuals with a wide range of needs, always with dignity, respect, and a personal touch, because she believes that everyone is unique and also believes every person deserves to feel safe, valued, and truly cared for — and that belief guides everything she does.
Care has never been “just a job” to her. It’s incredibly rewarding to know that a kind word, a familiar face, or a bit of extra support can change someone’s whole day. Whether she is leading a team, supporting families, or providing hands-on care, Ann Marie brings the same dedication and heart to every moment.
Today, Ann Marie continues to provide high-quality, person-centred care — empowering staff, supporting clients, and making sure kindness sits at the heart of everything she does.
