The girls are very pleasant and willing. Sometimes I feel they rush through showering and dressing and the bed is often pretty roughly made. All housework jobs are done very well.
Thank you for taking the time to submit the review. We are glad the Care Professionals are settling in and the housework is of a high standard. We will arrange a service review to ensure everything is of the same high standard.
We are having a great experience with Home Instead (East Fife), from our initial visit through to our current carer, they are exceeding all expectations. Long may this continue! Our carer is thoughtful, compassionate, keeps very busy and fits in perfectly with our lifestyle. A real joy to see the interaction between carer/client each day, especially their initial meeting in a morning. It gives me great joy and confidence to me leaving for my work each day. Thank you.
Thank you for your kind words and taking the time to write us a review. It is great that the Care Professional has settled in so quickly.
They also had availability when others didn't and communication was good.
It was a pleasure supporting and caring for you mother. Thank you for taking the time in providing feedback to Home Instead (East Fife).
Home Instead has provided my father with several hours of care over the last two months so I think I am now in a position to provide some feedback. I have found both the caring staff and the management very helpful. The management took time to ask precise and relevant questions in order to gain a comprehensive understanding of my father's needs, demonstrating not only professionalism but flexibility and concern. They have also returned my calls promptly and taken on board my requests. Despite unknowns related to recruitment and provision of caring staff, they have sorted these matters out within the time frame they initially announced. My father's main carer is competent, friendly, easy to talk to, and experienced. (So far, I cannot comment on the secondary carers as I have yet to meet them). I would recommend this agency.
Thank you for reviewing us here at Home Instead East Fife. We are very grateful and pleased to receive positive feedback regarding the care and support being received from us for your father.
Happy overall with care - one-hour, Monday-Friday.

Meet the Team (4)
I was born and raised in Edinburgh and completed my degree at St Andrews University. I spent nearly 20 years working in various roles in the oil and gas industry across the world. After parenthood came along, I was keen to return to Scotland and live closer to my parents. I saw this as a key time to take a leap of faith and set up a new business.
My vision for Home Instead East Fife is establishing a company that helps older people continue to live well at home. I want to run a business that involves helping the community and getting a feeling of making a worthwhile difference.
Outside of the office, I am keen on sports; playing golf and swimming and watching rugby. I enjoy spending time with the family and traveling.
I was born in Edinburgh and moved to Fife fifteen years ago. I am a proud mum of two, one being my son, and the other being my dog. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends and walking several dogs with my friend.
I have worked in the care sector, predominantly elderly care, for 33 years. In my recent post, I was a care manager for a care home for 25 years.
I was born & raised in Fife. I stayed in central Fife whilst I was growing up and then moved to East Fife once I had settled and started my own family.
I have worked in the Care sector for the past 10 years. I also have experience caring for a Family member, so I know what it is like on either side of this profession. This has given me the perfect conditioning to be a care professional, being patient and making a difference to people’s lives.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love going for walks at our local beach.
I was born and raised in East Fife and currently still stay here with my partner and young son.
I have worked in the care sector for four years, coming to Home Instead in 2023. I enjoy meeting new people and making a difference in their day-to-day lives.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my son and family.
