I first heard of Home Instead a couple of years ago. I like the sound of its policies, but at the time, I was coping very well on my own and didn't even check whether it operated in Northern Ireland. Last year, I had a health scare which made me reassess my future. Conscious of my deteriorating hearing
and eyesight and problems accessing high shelves, low cupboards etc, I contacted the Belfast manager, who came and assessed my requirement. He found a carer who was ideally suited. I find the help very useful, often in unforeseen ways. Highly recommend.

The information provided was really well communicated and we had a clear understanding of the service to be provided. In fact the communication on an ongoing basis was above our expectations. All staff that we dealt with and met where helpful, courteous, professional and caring. The genetleman, who
was in charge, couldn't have been more helpful, updating when required and very caring in his approach. Our service provided overall was excellent and based on our experiences I would highly recommend.

I’m an enthusiastic individual that loves to learn new skills and put myself forward at every opportunity. In my spare time, I love to catch up with family and friends as well as travelling, watch sports and occasionally take part in playing rugby. On a personal level, my love for care came when I looked after my gran and I’m keen to help others in our community. I would describe myself as a friendly, approachable and kind person.


My mission is to change the face of ageing across Belfast and help individuals to stay independent living in the comfort of their own homes.

I am a sociable person who enjoys meeting and getting to know new people. I am a qualified Radiographer, working in an imaging clinic when I’m not in the office or out on care consultations. I am undertaking a Master’s degree with Glasgow Caledonian University in my spare time. Outside of work, I enjoy going to the cinema, and the gym and I love outdoor activities. I recently bought a kayak and looking forward to exploring new places around Northern Ireland.
