Guardian Angels are reliable, friendly and punctual. They keep us fully informed at all times and behave both courteously and professionally. The carers and management are always available and return calls punctually. I feel my mother is in very safe and competent hands.

Very pleased with the care from Guardian Angels. Dad is happy with the carers. They are punctual and attentive. Communication from the management is very good. As a new caring company, the early days are proving to be successful.

This was a big step for Mum to accept that she needed a little more support and companionship, other than from family. She says that all the carers are lovely! It has been hugely reassuring that she is being so well supported, particularly when we were away recently. Thank you so much for the care and

So far an efficient service, eager to please and organised. Mum loves to chat and laugh with the carers and enjoys their delicious food. They also take her for a lovely walk which is so good for her. I personally feel connected to Guardian Angels which makes me feel reassured that they are doing their
utmost for my wonderful Mum and her husband. Thank you for all you are doing to help Mum and her husband live in their own home for as long as possible.

Lindsey Gray

Lindsey is the registered manager of our Lincoln and Newark branch. Lindsey is originally from the Mansfield area and is a very caring and approachable person. This led to her becoming a registered manager at just 27 years old. With over 13 years’ experience in care settings Lindsey has the experience and is very much a people person who shares the same values as everyone here at Guardian Angels of wanting to provide safe, effective, quality care with dignity and respect for every one that needs it in the local community.

Rachel Thompson

Rachel is the Care Coordinator of our Lincoln and Newark branch.


Rachel is from West Yorkshire and has worked in the care industry since 2020, when she changed her career from Graphic Design, which she had done for more than 30 years, to Care Assistant, a move that she wished she had made decades ago.


Her people-centric nature has afforded her excellent communication and awareness skills with a proven track record in putting client’s needs above everything else whilst maintaining their independence, dignity and respect at all times.


Rachel is excited to take on this new role of Care Coordinator and contribute these strengths and proficiencies towards Guardian Angel Carers’ efforts to provide excellent care and support to clients in the Lincoln and Newark areas.

Lucy Newcombe

Job Title: Care Supervisor

Lucy has lived in Newark all her life and proudly calls Balderton home. She began her career in care in December 2022 and joined Guardian Angel Carers in May 2024, quickly becoming a valued and familiar face to both clients and the team.
Her natural warmth, dedication, and enthusiasm saw her promoted to Care Supervisor within just a year — a role she embraced wholeheartedly in May 2025. Lucy says she loved supporting her clients from day one, and when the opportunity came to step into a new role, she jumped at the chance.
Now thriving in the office team, Lucy enjoys helping however she can — whether it’s meeting new clients or holding care reviews, supporting her fellow Care Angels, or offering a listening ear to those who need it.


Outside of work, Lucy is a keen crocheter, often creating cosy and colourful projects in her downtime.
