I continue to be very impressed with Visiting Angels' care for my mother. Some of the carers have developed strong personal relationships with my mother, and have looked after her over and above their professional role. The organisation is sincere, approachable, flexible and friendly.

I could not be happier with the care my mum received. Carers were always on time and respected my mum's wishes, which could be challenging at times because of her dementia. They gave me peace of mind and support. They also could help at short notice, which enabled me to have breaks away.

Visiting Angels live up to their name! They not only help my mother, but they are there to support me as well. The team of carers that support my mother really do care for her.

My father-in-law's life has been changed for the better by three carers, in particular, from Visiting Angels Barnet. They are truly angels who take their role as carers to another level. Dad now goes for regular walks, sits out in the garden, eats well and enjoys their company. This has made a massive change to the quality of his life. The manager of the team is outstanding and nothing is too much trouble. She doesn't wait for us to contact her but asks us if there is anything more the team can do for Dad. She is always looking to see how she can improve Dad's care. We count ourselves lucky to have her. The two amazing carers go above and beyond on a daily basis and genuinely care for Dad. My husband and I are very grateful to these 3 amazing people.

Only one word can express what we feel about Visiting Angels Barnet and that is outstanding. The staff and management care deeply about the wellbeing of anyone they look after. They treat people they care for not just as customers, but as individuals whose needs change over time. They listen and they learn and offer practical and sensitive solutions to any challenges they are presented with. My dad was very resistant to care of any kind but welcomed the carers when he saw how they wanted to get to know him as a person, made him feel safe, but most importantly did their utmost to make him feel that his happiness was their primary focus. This is truly 5-star 'care with a smile' where nothing is too much trouble. The carers are very well trained, well managed and work as a team. Visiting Angels do not just meet customer needs but aim to exceed them. They are different from the rest and you won't be disappointed.

I was at a very low ebb in my life having recently lost two close members of my family in quick succession. I have been suffering from poor health for many years and I felt like I was on the edge and in a very dark place. Despite taking a multitude of medication I decided to seek help with my personal care because I was increasingly unable to do various simple day to day tasks.

I found a website online and filled out my details with little hope of a response. To my surprise I got a call from the manager at Visiting Angels Barnet. Although his care agency is private, and I was unable to afford his fees he nonetheless took time to speak to me. I also spoke to the care manager and they both promised to help me because they could see I had in effect 'fallen below the radar' within the system. Not long after speaking to them I got a call from my local social care team who wanted to carry out an assessment of my needs.

Subsequently, I received follow up calls from the manager at Visiting Angels Barnet to check on my health and to get an update with regards to my care. Again, they took time to listen to me and put me at ease by reassuring me that I should now get the help I needed. I could not thank them enough for all they had done for me because they went out of their way to help me. Thanks to them I am now getting the care I need from my local council in terms of a long-term care package and more recently the care manager has painstakingly went out of her way to ensure that I would shortly be contacted by an occupational therapist to assess whether I qualify for equipment in the home so as to make it easier to live my life.

I would like to say that very rarely has someone taken a genuine interest in my well-being and I am very grateful to Visiting Angels Barnet for that.

Extremely helpful arranging support for my father at short notice. The team have been lovely and have built a good relationship with both of us. I would highly recommend Visiting Angels and already have.

My six month experience of Visiting Angels has been reliable, positive and enjoyable, They have cooked my main meal at midday five times each week and have done it well. They have also provided conversation and chitchat, which is valuable for those who live alone. I have always been shown courtesy and kindness by the individuals I have met, who have all been trained to a high standard. They have been quick to learn how I like things cooked. I have already recommend Visiting Angels to friends in a similar position to myself.

All the carers took amazing care of my dad and we and him were really happy with the service provided. We would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs the care and help.

Excellent and reliable. Wonderful kind carers for my wife who has Parkinson’s and dementia. Nothing was too much trouble. You never know what to expect in a difficult situation but the all round care from the head office to the carers was first class.

My mother had a severe stroke, lost her husband and was forced into a nursing home where she suffered terribly. Fortunately, someone from Visiting Angels visited me and gave me lots of advice on how we could care for my mother at home, with support from Visiting Angels. The Angels visited my home and explained how they would match my mother with a carer that was suited to her and what we would need in our house to meet her needs. It was such a bewildering time in my life and Visiting Angels were really helpful and supportive.

The care team look after my mum very well. They communicate any issues to me and help in terms of liaising with third parties such as the NHS. I find the team to be professional and I am happy to recommend them.

I cannot praise the manager, one other staff member and the team highly enough. From the very beginning, they have been professional, helpful and approachable. They have been providing my parents with excellent support for a couple of months now and are coping amazingly with my father's Alzheimers. I am truly thankful to have found them and would have no hesitation in recommending them.
