Overall Experience
Mum has been receiving care for about 3 months. We have been very pleased with the whole process, with mums assessment and the careful placement of a suitable carer for mum. The carer is kind, always has time for a little chat with mum and dad. The care manager and team are always available to discuss any queries.

As a family we would be happy to recommend Radfield home care to others.

We have had two helpers and both have been on time and helpful during the time they are with us. Polite, friendly and treat us with dignity.

Overall Experience

Radfield Home Care provides regular visitors who check on my health and welfare. This is a welcome activity, as it helps me to maintain social contact since I ceased full-time employment. It also helps with reminding me about my contacts with my doctor, dentist and social contacts and family. Additionally, they give me support in taking my medication - accurately and daily.

Overall Experience
Although I am writing for March, this covers my experience of Radfield overall.
The Manager is very approachable and honest, she responds to my calls for help promptly and says if they cannot help.

The Carers are prompt, fun, talk to my mum and treat her with both respect and kindness..

The Carers always seem happy and say how much they enjoy working for Radfield, unlike those from a previous agency who moaned constantly.

I cannot recommend Radfield Orpington enough to anyone seeking care for a family member.
My dad's wish was to stay at home and not go into a care home and with the help of the director and her wonderful staff who helped care for my dad we fulfilled his wishes.
The staff were reliable and visited my dad 3 times a day and were professional and caring.

We as a family will never be able to thank Radfield Orpington enough as we couldn't have done it without them.

Overall Experience

Doing your utmost to care for an elderly relative is very challenging. My dad refused to go into care and for a long while was reticent about home care. A few months ago however, we reached an impasse and both agreed that if he was to stay in his own home during his final years then we needed to put together a reliable team of carers. I am so grateful that Radfield Home Care became that team. He receives his care three times a week and right from the start I noticed improvement in his mood. His routine makes him feel less lonely and each carer has made a special effort to bond with him and make him feel special. I know that he looks forward to their visits and care. After each visit I can read a snapshot of how it all went on the Radfield app. As I live overseas, I rely on this to check on his welfare. Radfield Home Care are very efficient, and sympathetic - always willing to help me with any special requests I might have. I cannot speak highly enough of them. Thank you!

I have had support from Radfield for almost 6months. They support my husband with late stage dementia. Their initial assessment was well done and comprehensive. The caters have been excellent. They are professional and well trained. I will continue using them and highly recommend the care they provide

My father has been using Radfield home care since January x 3 daily.
I can not praise the service we have been receiving enough!
The care is outstanding and very professional.
All staff exceed the service they give to my father.
Sometimes it's just the little things......
One of the owners and another member of staff are a pleasure to deal with and most importantly they are extremely reliable.
They have made our family's life so much easier, nothing is too much trouble.

I really can't emphasize enough how much I always look forward to my carer's visits. She always has interesting things for us to do such as playing cards or listening to music or even doing some knitting when she produced a lovely flower-like item that is hanging in my sitting room. I absolutely love her visits.

Overall Experience

We have been using Radfield Home Care for almost a year. They have been super supportive of the care given and are always responsive when the family has concerns about my father-in-law. Unfortunately, we all live quite a distance away but all feel secure in the knowledge that Radfield Home Care are on hand to help with all my father-in-law's needs in a sensitive way ensuring he is happy with all aspects and he is treated with respect at all times. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend their services to anyone looking to find sympathetic and respectful care for any family members.

We contacted them back in July for assistance with my dad and we received an immediate response and a home visit to discuss our needs. The director and her team are so accommodating and they have provided an excellent service. Communication is excellent and we will continue using them.

I am very satisfied with my husband's care.
I am also pleased with the quick responses to any e-mails and how they try to accommodate any changes to care days or further needs.

We are fairly new to using the company but right from the first interaction, I felt they were efficient and caring.

Simi Ghuman

We are delighted to introduce you to Simi Ghuman, Director & Owner of Radfield Home Care Bromley, Orpington & Beckenham. Simi is from a big family with a strong emphasis on looking after older relatives. It’s the strong emotional connection to family that motivated her to launch a business in-home care.

Simi has an extensive and varied background in the world of law and then later moved into helping vulnerable people in the care sector. Simi completed her law degree in 2005, and since then has completed a Legal Practice course and in 2011, became a solicitor.

“Having gained the legal theory, I became qualified as a Solicitor in 2011, specialising in dealing with elderly matters such as Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection Orders. The legal knowledge gained from dealing with vulnerable clients allowed me to develop and extend my skills into the Care Sector.”

Building on her natural affinity for caring for others, Simi became the Client Care Manager for a well-known care brand, specialising in building strong relationships between the local community and clients. Her experience in the industry has given her a deep understanding of the challenges affecting both Care Professionals and clients.

“I am now pleased to be able to expand my client care knowledge to a high standard with Radfield Home Care and to provide skilled and compassionate care to our clients. One of the biggest changes we are seeing is an increasing demand for domiciliary care so the independence of the individual is not compromised and that is what we strive to provide.”

Chanice Baugh

Chanice began her journey in the care sector in 2020, during the pandemic and it didn’t take her long to fall in love with the industry. The passion and commitment shown by Care Professionals both for clients and each other resonated with her on a personal level and she knew she had to be a part of it.

“I joined a home care provider as their Compliance Officer where I was able to gain a real in-depth understanding of the day-to-day of a Care Home Business and what is required and expected from CQC.”

Chanices’ experience in care compliance makes her an invaluable asset to the foundations of Radfield Home Care Bromley, Orpington & Beckenham. As part of the role, she onboarded all new starters, providing them with relevant training and information they needed before they went out as qualified Care Professionals. Her deep understanding of the role of Care Professionals and compliance in care make her the perfect fit for Radfield.

As you may know, the world of care requires a malleable and adaptable person. Chanice is both of those and more.

“10 months into my role as a Compliance Officer my role shifted to Payroll Officer and Marketing Executive across 3 of my director's offices. I was made responsible for managing the payroll function across all 3 offices which included wages and salary payments for all employees plus associated functions such as national insurance, tax and pension payments.

In addition to this, I managed the marketing for all 3 offices which consisted of tracking and reporting SEOs, managing marketing plans and advertising, producing creative content and running all social media platforms such as Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and Linked in”.

Even with all of this responsibility, she still found time to support the team by providing care to clients, which she feels is the most rewarding thing of all.

“Working with people with a wide range of care needs inspired me to go forward with starting my own business in-home care, as I am committed to ensuring that all vulnerable individuals receive a high-quality service within the comfort of their own homes.”
