Radfield Home Care proved to be a lifesaver when you could not get more home care for my 96 year old mother. The contact before was both professional, courteous and totally understanding of our needs. They have an app to help know what has been done, which is vital as my mother could not remember anything.
They left notes for the family and called if there was a problem.

Simi Ghuman

We are delighted to introduce you to Simi Ghuman, Director & Owner of Radfield Home Care Bromley, Orpington & Beckenham. Simi is from a big family with a strong emphasis on looking after older relatives. It’s the strong emotional connection to family that motivated her to launch a business in-home care.


Simi has an extensive and varied background in the world of law and then later moved into helping vulnerable people in the care sector. Simi completed her law degree in 2005, and since then has completed a Legal Practice course and in 2011, became a solicitor.


“Having gained the legal theory, I became qualified as a Solicitor in 2011, specialising in dealing with elderly matters such as Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection Orders. The legal knowledge gained from dealing with vulnerable clients allowed me to develop and extend my skills into the Care Sector.”


Building on her natural affinity for caring for others, Simi became the Client Care Manager for a well-known care brand, specialising in building strong relationships between the local community and clients. Her experience in the industry has given her a deep understanding of the challenges affecting both Care Professionals and clients.


“I am now pleased to be able to expand my client care knowledge to a high standard with Radfield Home Care and to provide skilled and compassionate care to our clients. One of the biggest changes we are seeing is an increasing demand for domiciliary care so the independence of the individual is not compromised and that is what we strive to provide.”

Chanice began her journey in the care sector in 2020, during the pandemic and it didn’t take her long to fall in love with the industry. The passion and commitment shown by Care Professionals both for clients and each other resonated with her on a personal level and she knew she had to be a part of it.


“I joined a home care provider as their Compliance Officer where I was able to gain a real in-depth understanding of the day-to-day of a Care Home Business and what is required and expected from CQC.”


Chanices’ experience in care compliance makes her an invaluable asset to the foundations of Radfield Home Care Bromley, Orpington & Beckenham. As part of the role, she onboarded all new starters, providing them with relevant training and information they needed before they went out as qualified Care Professionals. Her deep understanding of the role of Care Professionals and compliance in care make her the perfect fit for Radfield.


As you may know, the world of care requires a malleable and adaptable person. Chanice is both of those and more.


“10 months into my role as a Compliance Officer my role shifted to Payroll Officer and Marketing Executive across 3 of my director's offices. I was made responsible for managing the payroll function across all 3 offices which included wages and salary payments for all employees plus associated functions such as national insurance, tax and pension payments.


In addition to this, I managed the marketing for all 3 offices which consisted of tracking and reporting SEOs, managing marketing plans and advertising, producing creative content and running all social media platforms such as Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and Linked in”.


Even with all of this responsibility, she still found time to support the team by providing care to clients, which she feels is the most rewarding thing of all.


“Working with people with a wide range of care needs inspired me to go forward with starting my own business in-home care, as I am committed to ensuring that all vulnerable individuals receive a high-quality service within the comfort of their own homes.”
