She was so efficient in organising the house according to my needs, and showed wonderful initiative, taking care of things without troubling me: she watered my garden, organised my kitchen chaos, and tackled my laundry. And she softly encouraged me to take my first walk outside, slowly and safely. That walk was the best exercise for healing my body on my terms. It broke the ice after two weeks in hospital. On my own, I would have been very reticent. I am so pleased to have had the time with someone who is conscientious, efficient, and good fun for relaxing chats. I could not be happier with the service I've received from Visiting Angels. I reached out to the company after my grandmother had a number of bad falls due to a urinary infection earlier this year. A carer was able to begin working just a few days later, and I've already seen a vast improvement in my grandmother's condition. She is healthier and more energetic than I've seen her in years. The carers not only help with any errands she might need, but they truly take the time to get to know her as well, which she appreciates immensely. I am truly grateful for the care they have provided my grandmother, as well as the peace of mind they have given me.

Dad was diagnosed with double dementia in October 2020. By April 2023 he was entering its advanced stages. I am an only child and was in despair as Dad had so many medical needs by this point. I was - and still am - so impressed by the quality of care provided by Visiting Angels. Their safeguarding procedures are robust and efficient. It’s staffed by lovely people who care about their clients. Communication is excellent and all staff, from the management to the carers, are creative and innovative in their approach to problem-solving. Dad needed care at home alongside a live-in carer already in place. After a meeting with the manager, Dad was matched with two wonderful carers, who were both considerate, kind, hard-working and professional in every aspect of their care. My father (who has since passed), was treated with dignity and placed in very safe hands. As he gradually deteriorated, Visiting Angels immediately responded to the necessary personalised care needed. Nothing was too much trouble - they went beyond the call of duty in every aspect. Visiting Angels has been looking after my grandmother recently. After a few transitions to different agencies Visiting Angels has definitely provided results. The senior staff really took the effort to ensure her needs were identified and followed through to what has been delivered. They do more than what we intended them to do, from helping her out with laundry to taking walks around the park, she has really grown to adore her carers who I will say have been the same consistent three carers from the beginning. I want to say a big thank you to Visiting Angels for looking after my Aunty. They have been so accommodating to her needs. They matched a caregiver to my aunt based on her preferences. My aunt has dementia which means consistency is very important and Visiting Angels has made sure she has had the same team of carers for my aunt since day dot. They put together a very thorough care plan which was very personalised to her likes and dislikes on how she would like to receive her care. So far, I’ve had an extremely positive experience. The help I’ve received from my home care provider has gone far and beyond what I expected and has taken a lot of the stress away from me and my partner, having just been discharged from hospital and me being unable to do basic things at home. She has been reliable, upbeat and anticipates what support I need without me even having to ask! It’s really lifted my mood and helped me to see there is light at the end of this recovery tunnel! The Angels from Visiting Angels that attend to my mother are amazing. I cannot thank them enough for the support they have given her. The manager was so kind and always helpful whenever I have anything to report. Mum loved her from the first visit which was the assessment. All the staff are very open about adapting the service to her needs. They have always kept me informed about her mood and what they did for her which is so helpful when there are times when me and my partner can not visit. They also have an app that the family can use to see the notes that the Angels put after each visit so we are always included and informed. I couldn't ask for anything more. I have been so impressed by Visiting Angels. From the Angels, to the staff in the office, have been so attentive and always willing to help and go the extra mile. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for care. The processes that they put in place to ensure my grandmother had the best person looking after her, is what made all the difference, as my grandmother is used to being very independent and really wanted a carer that would still allow her to be, that. They had a caregiver meeting, which allowed my grandmother to meet the carer prior to starting care and I thought that was great. Couldn't ask for a better agency to look after my grandmother.

Visiting Angels has provided a consistent team of excellent caregivers to support my dad who has Alzheimer's. The level of support we have received, has been simply outstanding. The care team is extremely supportive and was proactive in recommending changes to the care plan, to support my dad better. From what I can see, the caregivers are extremely well-trained and very competent in what they do. If anything, the caregivers are more like caring for their own loved ones, rather than just doing a list of tasks on their job and leave. This is definitely a huge change from the care I've seen my dad received from other agencies.
