The friendly team at Guardian Angel Carers work tirelessly to ensure clients' dignity, individuality and privacy are respected at all times, while providing care and supporting the client in undertaking their normal daily activities as directed by the client and/or family.

Guardian Angel Carers can help provide:

Each client has their own individual care plan and risk assessment carried out prior to their care beginning, and where possible they always encourage clients and their families to be involved in the development of not only the initial care plan, but also its on-going development.

We are so pleased with the care given to our mum, not only the support they give physically but also the emotional care Mum needs. Their visits never feel rushed and if needed they stay on to make sure their client is settled. Their daily reports really keep us in the loop and raise any concerns. We
are really pleased with how they care.

Attentive and understanding, providing essential care, meals and companionship during respite needs. Friendly staff, administrative and carer experience very good.
My elderly father looks forward to the visits and care from all involved.

My husband found the carers to be friendly, respectful and efficient. He is happy for their support to continue and prefers to stay at home rather than go into a home for respite. The manager of the service responds quickly to any query.

I have found it to be an excellent service so far. As somebody who requires help, it is top marks.
All of the carers are excellent. I don't know how you managed to find such caring people. All of them provide excellent quality of care. I find the manager very easy to get hold of via the office phone
and I find that level of communication very comforting.

If anything we made the mistake, not Guardian Angels.
We agreed to the same person providing nursing care (i.e.) changing a stoma bag and companionship. This did not work as the person having the care has dementia and therefore confused nursing with companionship.
Sadly, the companionship has been
removed until there is someone else available.
I found the notes on the app not to be helpful, especially regarding the food. The Guardian Angel would write what had been given to eat but we had no idea whether it was being eaten or not only to find most days it was just being put in the bin. If the notes could say I did not see her eat it would have been useful. This is just an observation.

Thank you for your review/feedback. We have now put some different carers in so hopefully they can build up a relationship with the client and can think about starting some companionship visits again.
As a company, the care notes are reviewed daily and I have spoken to the carers about making sure that everything is thoroughly documented in the notes. I hope that you have seen an improvement in the documentation. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to help you and improve the service.
