I am writing this review with great concern regarding the standard of care provided by Lacura Care. My experience has highlighted serious safeguarding failures that I believe pose a danger to vulnerable clients.
One particularly alarming incident involved a carer who, after hoisting a client into bed, left a lit incense stick balanced across a glass in the bedroom, using a paper tissue beneath to collect the hot ash. This reckless action created a clear and immediate fire hazard and put the client's life at risk. Such behaviour demonstrates a shocking lack of basic health and safety awareness, let alone appropriate care practice.
Unfortunately, this was not an isolated issue. Multiple safeguarding concerns have been raised, yet the agency's response has been inadequate and dismissive. There appears to be a lack of appropriate training, supervision, and internal accountability.
