I have been supported by Bridgewater (Harborough) for over a year. It has been a happy and effective experience. The initial visit by senior staff established a sound working relationship with a faultless choice of carers. They are affable and courteous and their ability to see where help is needed, and act upon it, has enabled me to remain independently in my own home. I always welcome their enlivening visits.
We are very pleased to be clients.
Bridgewater Homecare has changed my dad's life and hugely eased the challenges I face as his carer. Their approach from the start has been person-centred and empathic. My dad lives independently with Alzheimer's; he needs help with admin and communicating and often just needs a bit of company. Alex and Christine at Bridgewater have matched him with the most wonderful companions, who have got to know my dad and taken the time and care to understand and respond to his needs. I find communication with Christine and Alex easy, efficient and professional. They are also very friendly and approachable. I can't thank them enough for the service they continue to provide to my dad; I think both me and my dad would be struggling without them. I would highly recommend this company if you have a loved one who needs a little extra help.
Unfortunately Dad passed away just after his 90th birthday. We just want to thank Alex and his team for helping to making his last months richer and happier and more comfortable. We would thoroughly recommend Bridgewater Home Care as providers of a very high quality service.
We're so pleased that dad's care proved to be such a positive experience and that he spoke so highly of the team. Building meaningful relationships, taking time for conversation, and supporting with both practical tasks and the little personal touches are all such important parts of what we...
At first mum was reluctant to have support, she had always been so independent but very soon she looked forward to the visits and now they form a important structure to her day and she very much enjoys her interactions with the team.
Mum has been supported with care and dignity - in her own words she is, 'supported like a queen' and talks to us about 'her helpers' with great affection.
To know that support is a phone call away has been invaluable and I feel I am able to contact the office if I am worried about mum - from illness concerns to not being able to contact her when she's switched her phone off by accident.
Mum wouldn't have been able to stay in her own home as a frail 91 yr old without the support she now receives from the Bridgewater team.
We're so pleased we were able to support mum when she returned home from hospital and that she now looks forward to her visits. Building trust and helping someone maintain their independence with dignity is incredibly important to us, so it's wonderful to know she enjoys her time with the team and...
We were looking for short term care for my 92 year old father in our own home while we were away. While it is not the usual service provided by Bridgewater, they were more than happy to accommodate our needs. We had some home visits and assessments of our needs before we all agreed on the level of service to be supplied. The staff were all very personable and professional and they got to know my dad before the care, it gave us all the reassurances we needed. We were kept up to date while we were away and my dad was well cared for and got on really well with the carers. Everything went perfectly without any problems and we were all delighted with the service and the cost as well. I have no hesitation in recommending Bridgewater and will definitely be calling on them again in the future.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience. I'm are delighted to hear that we were able to support your family and provide the support your father needed while you were away. It's great to know that our team's professionalism and personal approach helped give you peace of mind, and that your father felt comfortable and made a relationship with the team
Our family member was reluctant to have carer support. The team really did get to know her as an individual and understand what would work for her. Their commitment and dedication meant she even surprised herself when she began to look forward to their visits. I would not hesitate to recommend if you are looking for a care provider.
Thank you so much for your kind words. It was an honour to be able to support you all and being able to give you that peace of mind. Seeing the relationship grow over time and the visits become something meaningful and joyful was special
We initially asked Bridgewater Home Care to start with some social visits for my mum, which over two years progressed to providing three times daily full care visits. Everyone was excellent throughout - the management team and all of the carers were kind and understanding, and took time to communicate with us and with mum so that everyone was happy and confident in the arrangements. They were flexible and generous at helping at short notice, adjusting timetables to account for medical treatment, and adapting visits based on mum's needs. The fabulous team of carers made a real difference to mum, and to us, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for home care. Thank you to everyone.
Thank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time to share your experience. It was a real privilege to support mum and be part of her care journey over the past two years. We're so pleased to hear that our team's care, flexibility, and communication made a meaningful difference to both her and your family.
I have recently engaged with Bridgewater Home Care from Market Harborough to provide daily care and companionship for my elderly mother. The quality of service and care can only be described as outstanding. The management are respectful, polite and immediately put us at ease and within minutes you realise that these people truly care about the people they provide support for. I had no hesitation in trusting this company with my Moms care. The carers that come to my Moms house are a credit to both themselves and their company. They treat my Mom with kindness, humour and respect. They treat my Mom as they would their own and you couldn't ask for anything better. The experience we have had with the company has enhanced my Moms life and provided myself with the comfort that my Mom is in excellent hands. Thank you all so much.
Thank you for your review! I'm really pleased that your experience with Bridgewater Home Care has been so positive. It's also fantastic to hear that our team has been able to provide your mum with the care, kindness, and companionship she deserves.
Bridgewater Home Care live by their motto, "we go above and beyond". Frequent contact ensures a service that perfectly fits. Carefully matched carers feel like extended family. Asking for help from them becomes the first resource when their professionalism in dealing with a complicated care system is so welcome. As a primary carer, I am pleased to recommend Bridgewater most highly for their kind attention to all aspects of their service and for making us feel like we are special to them.
Thank you so much for your kind words! It's fantastic to hear that Bridgewater's commitment to going above and beyond has made such a positive impact. Our goal is to provide not just care but a sense of support and belonging to the whole family and we're delighted that you felt this through our...
Carers are always caring and considerate to my husband. He looks forward to seeing them every week and they take him out when he feels like it and are very good company when he wants to stay in. They think of the whole family and the staff in charge contact me often for our updates on my husband's progress. Can't praise them highly enough, they have made a big difference to our lives.
Thank you for your kind words. It's fantastic to hear how much of a positive impact the team are having on you and your husband. Watching the relationship between your husband and the team grow has been fantastic. I know the team really enjoy their time with you both and taking your husband out into the community.
She is very respectful and reliable with a relaxed manner.
It is difficult for my wife to have a good conversation so I am pleased she has a companion each week to hopefully inspire her.
We have to reach a comfortable routine over the next few months to assess, more fully, the ongoing needs. Bridgwater Home Care staff are very attentive at all levels and I look forward to working with them as time passes.
Thank you so much for your review. It's been great to see the relationship between our care specialists and your wife grow. I know our care specialists enjoy the visits and spending time out visiting different places. I look forward to watching the relationship continue to grow.
This is our first time with private carers with my brother who, I have to be honest, was not keen on the idea! Now a month on, he is really happy to have them. The care they give is really lovely. They help him with everyday tasks and encourage him to still be independent which is important to him. It's so reassuring to know that someone is going to come at the same time each day, and stay for the whole hour. He knows all the carers now and he is told who will be coming. It has taken a huge burden off myself and other friends and helpers.
Thank you for your review, It's been lovely supporting your brother over the past month. The team can't speak highly enough and love supporting him. He always makes them welcome and has a fantastic sense of humour. I'm really pleased the support we're providing has not only been enjoyable for him...
Very pleasant, well-presented staff. Friendly and always punctual. Complete understanding of dementia.
Thank you for the review. It has been a pleasure supporting you and your husband. It's been great to see and build that relationship with him and supporting him back into the community.
Bridgewater Home Care filled me with confidence and support from my very first contact. They are extremely professional and generous with their knowledge. Their flexibility and efforts to fit their expertise to the client's needs are exemplary and their quick responses absolutely heartwarming. I would recommend anyone to reach out to this company which is genuinely care and people-based.
Thank you for the review. It has been a pleasure supporting you and your parents throughout these past few months. I'm delighted that our team have been able to offer you the confidence and support you needed since our first conversation.
My wife's diagnosis with vascular dementia necessitated arranging some care - not something we had previously considered. Extensive research by my daughter followed by contact with Bridgewater Home Care enabled us to select this company. Nearly two months of care has meant our choice was correct. Our carer is excellent, helpful and has developed a good relationship with my wife. She is innovative in her attention and activities and we have a happy situation. I have already mentioned Bridgewater to friends and am pleased to recommend a caring company.
Thank you for the review. It's been great watching and hearing about the relationship between our care specialists and your wife over the past few months. I'm really pleased and grateful to hear your feedback on the support we're providing. I look forward to watching their relationship continue to grow.
Always attentive and caring to my 91-year-old sister.
Thank you for the review. It has been great to support your sister over the past months, and we look forward to continuing our relationship with her.
The service we have received from Bridgewater to date has been exemplary, right from the very initial telephone contact through to the care my husband is now receiving. The communication has been excellent, and the care taken to ensure that my husband’s needs are met, both to his satisfaction and mine cannot be faulted. It is wonderful knowing that the doorbell will ring on time and there will be a smiling face standing there. It gives me, as the full-time carer, a break and cannot be recommended highly enough.
Thank you for the review. I'm really pleased to hear about your experience with us and that our care specialists are always smiling. I know our team are really enjoying spending time with you and your husband. We're always here if you need anything.
From the first contact I had with the team at Bridgewater Home Care in Harborough, I knew that they would offer my mum the best care possible. Realising that my mum, who suffers from Vascular Dementia, needed some support, which would also allow my dad (main carer) some time out, was a big step. The team has been there every step of the way, going over and above what we were expecting. My mum's carer is lovely, patient, and kind and has enabled my dad to get some much-needed time to himself. I would not hesitate to recommend them.
Thank you for the review. It's been great to watch the relationship between our staff and your parents grow over the past few months. We look forward to continuing to grow the relationship together.
Our first tentative steps into the world of home care for my wife, who has Alzheimer's, and it couldn't have gone better. Everything Bridgewater Homecare Harborough have done is characterised by excellent communication, a personalised approach, attention to detail and total empathy with both my wife and myself as her carer. Thank you to the Managing Director and the staff. We know we're not on an easy journey, but we're very reassured to have you to help us on the way.
Thank you for your review. It has been fantastic to witness and learn about the activities carried out during each visit. The staff hold you both in high esteem and I know they look forward to their visits. I look forward to continuing to watch the relationship grow and we are always available if you require any assistance or support.
