When I’m not working I love baking, musicals, watching sports and walking.

I was born and raised in Chichester, and have been involved in the Care Sector for over 30 years.

I strongly believe that people should feel safe in their homes and receive the highest standard of care as a matter of course. Clients must remain in control of their services and are central to all that we do.

I recognise the difficulties that people face when choosing care for their loved ones and I like the way Right at Home has a genuine ethos for delivering high standards of care. Our friendly reliable staff are always prepared to go the extra mile to ensure that the client's care needs are met and that’s how it should be. That’s why I’ve chosen to join the Right at Home team and I am excited to be making a difference to our clients and their families’ lives.

Since leaving Cardiff University almost 30 years ago I have spent most of my working life in the healthcare industry, initially working as a GP drug rep in the Portsmouth area, then I went on to head up a sales team for a government-owned blood plasma company. Whilst I thoroughly enjoyed my time working for and with the NHS, I came to realise that I wanted the opportunity to personally make a difference and to give something back to society.

I grew up in a small Surrey village, the son of a GP and a Practice Nurse, where the surgery was attached to the home. The emphasis on care and support in the community was ever present and I learnt from watching my parents how you can make a massive difference in people’s lives through offering your time and assistance.

I also witnessed first-hand the demise of my aunt who lived with Alzheimer’s disease at a relatively young age and was saddened at her rapid decline. By helping to raise awareness and offering good quality support I believe we can improve the quality of lives and hopefully slow the deterioration whilst we search for a cure.

I have been working for Right at Home since 2017 and have enjoyed every minute. The training is top notch and relevant, with a team that provides practical support and friendship. This has enabled me to provide the best care possible to our clients.

I support our Business Owner, Duncan, with payroll matters and client invoicing. It’s something I enjoyed in my past career and felt my skills and knowledge were transferable. I still like to carry out care calls however, as this is a hugely rewarding element of my working life. After all, being able to make a positive difference to my clients’ lives is immeasurable!

Hi, I'm Suzanne and I've been working for Right at Home since 2018. Unfortunately, due to health reasons, I had to give up my beloved CareGiver role but jumped at the opportunity to fill the role of Recruitment Administrator which is challenging and highly enjoyable.

In my spare time I enjoy reading the 'old classics', travelling and spending time in the forest or on the beach with my Cockapoo Indie.

I am a a huge foodie and love trying new places to eat and cooking new things. I love walking, and my partner and I are often looking for new places to explore, though the children are not so keen on this - lol.

I would like to think that people appreciate my caring nature, and that I make people smile. I would put anyone before myself to ensure that they are happy.

I’ve lived overseas in France, Italy and St Petersburg and speak French, Italian and Russian.

I live on a sheep farm near Fernhurst with my partner, son and three dogs. I love going for walks with Pembrokeshire being one of my favourite places. I have worked in the care sector for 26 years with disabled and elderly clients. I love the feeling of making a difference to someone's life and enjoyed receiving my GEM award for recognition for great care.

I love spicy food Indian and Chinese and getting out and about. In particular a countryside or a city break.
