Overall Experience

The Carers we have had have been friendly, efficient, thoughtful and helpful. Where could there be improvements? Some of the carers would benefit from some cooking guidance and some in providing more stimulation/conversation.

Overall Experience

I have very experienced team of carers who are very helpful in providing the care I require. They are all very cheerful and aware of my needs t the same time as supporting my independence. Their time keeping is excellent and they all have a cheerful and happy demeanour when they visit. I have no complaints about the care and support from the office team.

Our wonderful carer. What can I say? She is now a part of our family, we love her. She has cared for our mum in an amazing way when we couldn't be there. She has given up her breaks to be there and continue caring. She goes beyond what we ever expected and always on the end of the phone. We did not expect this amazing care. Thank you so much.

Overall Experience

Needed some help for my parents after they had both been in respite care and wished to come back to their own home. They have carers in three times a day and so far so good. We have met a few of the carers and they seem very pleasant, polite and genuinely interested in the welfare of my parents. The help with meal preparation and overseeing and checking medication has given us real peace of mind.

As it's early days we've had to contact the office to inform them of additional needs and a few other things that have changed and someone is always available and the information is quickly shared with the relevant carers. The app is great, we can check in daily and see how each visit has gone. And when the carer on duty is concerned about anything the office is notified and they let us know as soon as possible.

My dad has been extremely happy with the service provided. He likes the fact he gets a rota and knows time and names of the carers coming. They are all bright and happy and make his day. He loves to have a chat and hear about their lives and families.

Since summer of 2024, Candlelight Carers have been coming to help with my husband's morning care and it's always a pleasure to see them. We really do appreciate them. They are always kind and gentle with him, taking care, time and effort to get him ready for the day. They leave having given great service with lots of smiles making the days worthwhile.

Overall Experience

My mum has the pleasure of the lovely ladies who call on her twice a day, they really are the best they cannot do enough for her. She has recently been diagnosed with dementia and the care they give is so lovely and kind she can't wait to see them and even with her broken hearing aids, she says they have a lovely chat. She really does depend on them and they step up to the mark, we cannot fault them at all.

Overall Experience

We have received Candlelight Care for over 1 year now and feel like the carers are part of our family. Nothing is a bother to them and always smile and lift spirits. Professional, clean, attentive, respectful, helpful, cheery, hard-working. Carers have to be a special kind of person as it isn't a job career for the wages, it's commitment and special caring personalities.

Overall Experience

A real focus on supporting Mum as an individual, balancing safety and care with meeting her preferences and being flexible where possible. Carers are polite and friendly and engage in discussion about Mum's needs and wishes. The company clearly do their best to provide consistency in carers and timings. The office team are also always polite and helpful.

Overall Experience

On 23rd December 2022, I was assigned to rapid response care for approximately six weeks upon my discharge from hospital. I was then 'taken-on' by Candlelight until 22/02/2023 when I started with another care company. I was told I was being moved on 12th April 2023 but no one knew where or with whom! I had no care from 12/04/23 when I was again contacted by Candlelight and I have been with them ever since! A brilliant company with great carers, all of them!
