We have been using Candlelight for 18months to care for my wife and I'm sure that the standard of care and professionalism of the staff has contributed significantly to the extending 'end of life' programme she is currently on.
Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience. We are truly grateful for your kind words. It means a great deal to the whole team to know that the care and professionalism we provide have made a positive difference to your wife's comfort and wellbeing during such an important and...
As it's early days we've had to contact the office to inform them of additional needs and a few other things that have changed and someone is always available and the information is quickly shared with the relevant carers. The app is great, we can check in daily and see how each visit has gone. And when the carer on duty is concerned about anything the office is notified and they let us know as soon as possible.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience. We're delighted to hear that your parents' return home has gone smoothly and that our carers have made a positive impression. It's wonderful to know you've found them to be pleasant, polite and genuinely focused on your parents'...
My dad has been extremely happy with the service provided. He likes the fact he gets a rota and knows time and names of the carers coming. They are all bright and happy and make his day. He loves to have a chat and hear about their lives and families.
Our team really enjoy spending time with him...
It has given us some peace of mind knowing that she is safe and secure for the night.
I don't know what else to say!
Thank you very much for sharing your feedback. We're delighted to hear that you have no complaints and that your mother in law is happy with her caregiver. Knowing that she feels safe and secure at night is exactly the reassurance we aim to provide for families, so it's lovely to hear that this has...
Always double check with a family member if they are concerned, absolutely no complaints.
My parents are treated with respect and dignity, allowing myself and my sister to step back from caring and enjoy quality social time with our parents.
Thank you for leaving this remarkable review of the care we are providing to your mother. This will be shared with her core team.
Excellent care team so far, caring, well-trained carers, the office staff are fantastic and always helpful. I'm also very pleased with the service; visit times are very consistent and this keeps my anxiety levels under control.
They are cheerful and always have a smile and kind words for us both.
It would be hard to look after my wife as well as the carers do.
The staff look after my husband very well. He has a good sense of humour and can have a laugh with them. They do a great job and it takes the pressure off me so I can get things done and go out if I want too.
Thank you for leaving this amazing compliment about your husband's core team. I have today shared it with the branch as we feel it is important for the staff to know.

We are so pleased with the service provided for Mum by Candlelight. We find all the staff to be extremely kind, caring and courteous. It is so good to know that Mum is being well looked after. She really enjoys their daily visits.

Thank you for your kind words, and yes you are correct our staff are special kind of people and all bring their own unique qualities to their role.
All grateful to your carers visits, all very kind and helpful.
I have passed your comment on to our Corsley Branch for action. Thank you for your kind words about our staff.
A real focus on supporting Mum as an individual, balancing safety and care with meeting her preferences and being flexible where possible. Carers are polite and friendly and engage in discussion about Mum's needs and wishes. The company clearly do their best to provide consistency in carers and timings. The office team are also always polite and helpful.
Thank you for this beautiful review of our services, I have shared the review with the Corsley Team for them to be aware of this review.
On 23rd December 2022, I was assigned to rapid response care for approximately six weeks upon my discharge from hospital. I was then 'taken-on' by Candlelight until 22/02/2023 when I started with another care company. I was told I was being moved on 12th April 2023 but no one knew where or with whom! I had no care from 12/04/23 when I was again contacted by Candlelight and I have been with them ever since! A brilliant company with great carers, all of them!
So sorry to hear that you have received a disjointed service when we stepped in again. I have shared your experience with the Corsley Team. Thank you.
I would not be able to cope without their help, this is the best agency I have used. I would never leave candlelight care. The office staff are very good too.
Thank you for your kind words. We will share this with your core team.
Consistency is very important, both for the client and the carer and I hope that we can continue with 07:45-08:30 in the morning and 19:30-19:00, approximately, in the evenings, mornings are critical.
Keep up the good work!
Thank you for your kind words. We know and understand that continuing care (consistency) plays a huge part in our quality of care.
Candlelight Care team have been supporting my brother to live independently in his own home since losing both of our parents. He always enjoys the company and support he receives, helping him with personal care needs, meal prep and reassurance. He has learning difficulties and cerebral palsy and their care helps make it possible to lead and develop his independence. The office team are always helpful and notify family if there are staff shortages, time changes or my brother's not well.
Thank you for the lovely compliment about your brother's core team and the office staff.
Always a very good, prompt and cheerful service.
Thank you for your kind words, we have shared them with your core team.

Sarah started her journey with Candlelight back in 2003. She began as a domiciliary carer and then transferred into the Live-in department, providing a service of 24-hour care and support.
