I contacted Meridian care to see if they could put in twice daily care for my elderly dad in his home. Gail was prompt to assess dad and also understood his needs very efficiently and calmly. They managed to build up to twice a day very quickly and every carer who came was courteous, kind and professional. They use an app to show each call and it gives a report on what was done and how the client is doing. It was a very good service and I would recommend this agency to other families trying to provide respectful and professional care for their loved ones. Excellent local company and staff. Thank you.

Firstly I must say the review period extends over the last 7 years not just this August, as only option available. We have so pleased by the way Meridian Care have looked after mum, always helpful from last minute hospital trips to ' I forgot to add something to my shopping list' where they would drop by with something enroute to another client of pop in when passing. The care provided is quite outstanding giving us the knowledge that someone is looking out for mum when we are not about. Sometimes all that is needed is a chat to raise her spirits, as a social person the reduction of Sheltered Housing Plus to basic has had a detrimental affect on mum so the contact has been so important. The carers have been exceptional but also the back room staff, David, Gail and Leon have always been helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Mum hasnt been well recently and had had to move to a care home. Thank you all for your help and kindness!!

For most of the final year of the client's life, the carers came three times a day and I therefore started to inform them in advance of the date and approximate time I proposed to visit. It worked out that carers were present during some, and occasionally, all of the visiting time.

The Meridian staff I met, both in the client's home and in the Office, were very professional, kind, helpful and friendly. There was just one occasion when a carer attempted to prevent my visit on the grounds that the client would not know me. The client did recognise me and I was permitted to remain. Though a little abrupt, I am sure this carer was only acting as they thought best for the client.

Overall, though friend not family, I have nothing but praise for Meridian Care at all levels.

Two years into care from Meridian and very happy. The small team are personable, respectful and lovely humans. They care for Dad brilliantly and nothing is deemed to be too much trouble. They feel more like an extension of our family than paid care. I live away so I have to have a company I can fully trust. I know that he is being looked after and they are quick to flag any potential issues before they become an actual problem. No complaints to speak of whatsoever. And I have tried a lot of care companies over the years with both parents plus I've done assessments of care services as part of my job. So, I'm a very harsh critic and incredibly hard to please!

In short I highly recommend them not only for the care they give to your loved one but also to you.

Overall, Meridian provided a very useful and very good service for me as I came to terms with my changed lifestyle.

The care by the staff of Meridian Care was invaluable to the service user as it enabled her to remain living in her own home until her passing as she had wished. They looked after her with such care and thoughtfulness over the past decade and the service user was so happy and comfortable in their care. It is not only the carers themselves but the office staff are extremely friendly and most helpful at all times. An excellent service all round, highly recommended.

A friend recommended Meridian Care to me when my mum needed some support at home and KCC social services were unable to assist. I'm so glad that I chose Meridian and that they were happy to accommodate Mum, even though she only needed a small amount of help. Over time, Mum could manage more easily by herself and was fiercely independent so in a way didn't really need a visit at all. However, the fact that she was happy to carry on, albeit only once a week, is testament to the great team and kind care staff and I know she had become really quite fond of a couple of the lovely ladies that used to call round. My amazing mum sadly passed away on 15th March this year so we won't be needing Meridian's services any longer. One of the staff members has sent me the most lovely message which has meant a lot. I would not hesitate in recommending them if you have found yourself in the position of needing some extra help, should a loved one wish to live independently in their own home as long as they can.

I have used Meridian Care for the past 18 months to help look after my elderly aunt. The care she received was fantastic, always helpful and polite. Thank you for helping us keep her independent at home for as long as possible.

Dad was treated with care and dignity. A carer always turned up, he wasn't let down once in 13 months. If there were any problems they contacted us to let us know. The office was very helpful. Dad started with 30 minutes a day and it was increased over the 13 months to an hour a day as he found it difficult to manage things. The office staff did all they could to implement this as soon as possible.

My late wife was with Meridian from Oct 2018 until end of August 2023 - during this time, she received excellent care. The carers were always there, when needed, backed up a great team in the office. I can recommend this company to look after your loved ones, when help is needed.

Meridian Care looked after my father until he went into a residential home earlier this month and I would like to thank them for all they did for him. They initially came out to do an assessment on him and thereafter a member of their team came out daily. His main carer and was very understanding and patient with my father and I cannot thank him enough. Other carers covered his days off or holidays and they were very good too. My father could be moody at times and would refuse a wash very frequently but he was very good with him. I had had previous experience with another carer company for my mother and the difference with Meridian was the continuity of the same carer as much as possible. I also found I was able to speak with the office of Meridian and the staff there were very helpful and knew sufficient information about Dad to always help me and to put my mind at rest. I would highly recommend Meridian Care.

My client was cared for by Meridian Care over several years until she recently passed away. The care was excellent and we were able to change the care plan to meet her needs as her needs changed. Thank you very much for looking after my client so well.

The service we received from the team at Meridian Care was excellent from the first call to them arranging care for my father until he went into hospital and the care that they were providing finished. However, that did not stop contacting us to see how our father was progressing until he passed away. The team met all the requirements that my father needed at that time, they were very helpful, kept us informed of any developments on the day and I cannot recommend them more highly. Could not recommend Meridian Community Care highly enough in supporting my mum who has mixed dementia. The staff are very friendly, and compassionate and they use their skills to ensure all of her needs are met and the care plan is followed with both respect and dignity. Having the same carers arriving at the same times each day means a trusting and friendly relationship has been embedded and continues to blossom. Nothing is too much trouble and their whole set-up puts our minds at rest in the processes and regime in place for mum.
