Grandma and Pop both used Bridgewater for many years and were always very happy with the care they received.


Would recommend Bridgewater to anyone who needed help. Bridgewater are very person centred and it was a pleasure to have them look after my grandparents and trusted them completely.

Mum has been receiving personal care from Bridgewater Homecare for the past few years and now has Home Help. When Dad needed care we requested that the same company was used as we were very happy with the standard of care and the professional, caring approach from the owners, management and carers.
The package was arranged very carefully, so that Dad's package was coordinated with Mum's. When Dad was given overnight care for 3 nights weekly, managers thoughtfully arranged this for consecutive nights so I could return home for half of the week.
Carers have been outstanding and it is clear that recruitment of staff is excellent as all carers genuinely care for the service users. I particularly like that owners and managers are 'hands on' and take part in the personal care of service users, including Waking Night care.New carers have an excellent induction including shadowing. Managers are approachable, easily contacted and very professional. I know that my parents are in good hands.

I'd just like to say how amazing the Bridgewater team is. Nothing is to much trouble and everyone is a credit to the business. We have both daytime and overnight care. One thing that stands out is how the owner of the business is fully invested in the care from the company and even spent a night looking
after my mum. Anyone that is at such a high level and is prepared to do the hard shifts and be part of the team just shows you the quality of the company. I highly recommend anyone considering care, contacts Bridgewater and sees how impressive they are. A real professional company with a family caring feel to it. Thank you to every one of you.

We have had a great experience with Bridgewater, especially with one staff member in particular who is just so lovely and professional with us all as a family. Our dad who is suffering with a stage 4 palliative brain tumor is so comfortable with two members of staff in particular and other members of

We have been using Bridgewater Care for about a month.
The initial meeting which established the needs of the client was very friendly and thorough.
We have nothing but praise for the service they offer. The staff are all caring and compassionate to both the client and relatives. The care is provided
by a consistent team.
They have been exceptionally flexible and have met the family's needs as they have changed.
The record of information is updated after every visit and provides both the next set of carers and the family with up-to-date information on the care that has been provided.
The waking nights calls have provided the family with an opportunity to get a good night's sleep safe in the knowledge our loved one is being well cared for.
There has been very good communication with other agencies involved with the family.

I cannot sing this company's praises high enough. Each and every single member of staff, including the owners themselves went above and beyond to care for my Nan. They provided my Nan with the most wonderful care, they became her friends and loved her like she was their own family. I can say without
a shadow of a doubt that my Nan wouldn't have stayed with us for as long as she did without their care and devotion to her and I will be forever grateful to them all. They ensured her last months were full of laughter and love and that my Nan, a very proud and independent lady, maintained her dignity right until the end. Bridgewater you are all amazing.

In the last three weeks of my mum's life, we were privileged and blessed to be supported by Bridgewater Home Care (Halton). The service and care that everyone provided was absolutely outstanding. We were visited every day, several times a day, to assist us in looking after Mum and providing sensitive
and compassionate end-of-life care. The wonderful carers became part of our family during the weeks that they cared for us and for Mum. They were flexible, thoughtful, compassionate, friendly and respectful, nothing was too much trouble at all. The care and support that they provided to our family meant that we could fulfil Mum's wish, which was to remain at home, the home that she loved so much, surrounded by her family, in her final weeks, days and hours. Each and everyone of you, both management and carers, made such a difference to our lives and we will always be truly grateful to you. Thank you for your kindness and for providing Mum with such beautiful care, dignity and respect.

My uncle had the late stages of dementia but as far as he was concerned, there was nothing wrong with him, only a slight memory problem, so didn't need any help at all, even though he lived alone. The carers worked with the family to gradually introduce care. The staff were so professional and friendly
that he quickly came to accept them. When a carer arrived to find an unexpected problem, she immediately contacted the office to arrange for her schedule to be rearranged so that she could stay and support him until the family were able to arrive. I found the management and all staff very friendly and willing to try to accommodate any changes I needed to make as circumstances changed, which helped with the stress of being responsible for a vulnerable member of the family.

Absolutely fantastic service from Bridgewater Home Care. I must admit, I was anxious about going away and leaving my dad who suffers with dementia. I need not have worried as the care manager reassured me right from our initial meeting that everything would be ok and she was right. When I returned,
Dad was relaxed and was well and happy and talked about how lovely the staff were and how nice it was having them to visit, he really enjoyed their company. I would highly recommend to anyone and I have already booked some time for later in the year. Nothing is too much trouble and the care manager even went out of her way to get papers and any extra shopping required for my dad. Thank you to you all.

We have been delighted with the high level of care my mother-in-law has received from Bridgewater Home Care. The carers have always been understanding, sensitive and professional demonstrating a very high level of conduct and competence. Our regular carer has always arrived on time and displayed a cheerfulness

We have recently moved my gran's care over to Bridgewater after reading the good reviews and having a couple of personal recommendations too. Everything, right from the first contact with them, has been positive. The care coordinator came out to do a thorough needs assessment and completed all the paperwork
to get the care arranged. From the wonderful care staff that come out to Gran's visits, we cannot fault the service and experience we have had so far. Gran has advanced Alzheimer's and the carers that visit treat her with dignity and show compassion whilst providing the personal care and administering the medication that she needs. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bridgewater to others.

What can I say, what a wonderful company, there should be more like this. I feel like I've won the lottery after the nightmare company I had before. The carers I have are so kind and gentle, they go out of their way to do anything for you and spend time talking to you, I love them all. My little dog
waits for them to come, the care and attention they give is excellent. 100%. Thank you Bridgewater Home Care.

We are very satisfied with all of the care my husband receives. My husband is diagnosed with Dementia and all the staff are really patient with him. All of the staff go above and beyond and show so much care and compassion towards him and myself.

Took my mum to the Christmas Party you arranged. Just wanted to say we thoroughly enjoyed it. It is the first time Mum has actually been to one and was a bit hesitant at first to go, but once coaxed by my husband and I she was really happy she went! Thank you to all the staff who kept everyone entertained
with quizzes etc and especially for the wonderful choir - the children from the school - they made it ever more delightful!
