As an ex-head teacher although capable of great charm my Dad could be quite exacting, so we were not quite sure how the new care arrangement would go. We need not have worried. As the ensuing weeks past we were relieved to find that Dad eulogised about how kind, thoughtful and helpful all the ladies
that visited were. They were happy to turn their hand to most things around the house, preparing meals, shopping and attending to his every need. One kind lady even did an expert job of darning his favourite cardigan! Most importantly, they had time for conversation, getting to know him and his interests, having a laugh and a joke.
Unfortunately Dad passed away just after his 90th birthday. We just want to thank Alex and his team for helping to making his last months richer and happier and more comfortable. We would thoroughly recommend Bridgewater Home Care as providers of a very high quality service.

We contacted Bridgewater Home Care when mum came out of hospital last summer. She needed to recover fully from illness and as all our family live a distance from mum, we needed to know she would be supported throughout the day.
At first mum was reluctant to have support, she had always been so independent
but very soon she looked forward to the visits and now they form a important structure to her day and she very much enjoys her interactions with the team.
Mum has been supported with care and dignity - in her own words she is, 'supported like a queen' and talks to us about 'her helpers' with great affection.
To know that support is a phone call away has been invaluable and I feel I am able to contact the office if I am worried about mum - from illness concerns to not being able to contact her when she's switched her phone off by accident.
Mum wouldn't have been able to stay in her own home as a frail 91 yr old without the support she now receives from the Bridgewater team.

We were looking for short term care for my 92 year old father in our own home while we were away. While it is not the usual service provided by Bridgewater, they were more than happy to accommodate our needs. We had some home visits and assessments of our needs before we all agreed on the level of service
to be supplied. The staff were all very personable and professional and they got to know my dad before the care, it gave us all the reassurances we needed. We were kept up to date while we were away and my dad was well cared for and got on really well with the carers. Everything went perfectly without any problems and we were all delighted with the service and the cost as well. I have no hesitation in recommending Bridgewater and will definitely be calling on them again in the future.

The service provided by Bridgewater was excellent. They always treated our family member with care, kindness and respect. They considerately matched carers, and all carers took time to get to know her and listened to what she wanted and met her needs accordingly. The communication was excellent. I was
always quickly informed if there was any concerns and they regularly checked in to ensure they were fulfilling our expectations. I do not live locally and it was a weight of my mind to know that the team were there.
Our family member was reluctant to have carer support. The team really did get to know her as an individual and understand what would work for her. Their commitment and dedication meant she even surprised herself when she began to look forward to their visits. I would not hesitate to recommend if you are looking for a care provider.

We initially asked Bridgewater Home Care to start with some social visits for my mum, which over two years progressed to providing three times daily full care visits. Everyone was excellent throughout - the management team and all of the carers were kind and understanding, and took time to communicate
with us and with mum so that everyone was happy and confident in the arrangements. They were flexible and generous at helping at short notice, adjusting timetables to account for medical treatment, and adapting visits based on mum's needs. The fabulous team of carers made a real difference to mum, and to us, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for home care. Thank you to everyone.

I have recently engaged with Bridgewater Home Care from Market Harborough to provide daily care and companionship for my elderly mother. The quality of service and care can only be described as outstanding. The management are respectful, polite and immediately put us at ease and within minutes you realise
that these people truly care about the people they provide support for. I had no hesitation in trusting this company with my Moms care. The carers that come to my Moms house are a credit to both themselves and their company. They treat my Mom with kindness, humour and respect. They treat my Mom as they would their own and you couldn't ask for anything better. The experience we have had with the company has enhanced my Moms life and provided myself with the comfort that my Mom is in excellent hands. Thank you all so much.

Carers are always caring and considerate to my husband. He looks forward to seeing them every week and they take him out when he feels like it and are very good company when he wants to stay in. They think of the whole family and the staff in charge contact me often for our updates on my husband's progress.
Can't praise them highly enough, they have made a big difference to our lives.

I am happy that my wife is settling in with the carer who is very friendly and chatty.
She is very respectful and reliable with a relaxed manner.
It is difficult for my wife to have a good conversation so I am pleased she has a companion each week to hopefully inspire her.
We have to reach a comfortable
routine over the next few months to assess, more fully, the ongoing needs. Bridgwater Home Care staff are very attentive at all levels and I look forward to working with them as time passes.

This is our first time with private carers with my brother who, I have to be honest, was not keen on the idea! Now a month on, he is really happy to have them. The care they give is really lovely. They help him with everyday tasks and encourage him to still be independent which is important to him.
It's so reassuring to know that someone is going to come at the same time each day, and stay for the whole hour. He knows all the carers now and he is told who will be coming. It has taken a huge burden off myself and other friends and helpers.

My wife's diagnosis with vascular dementia necessitated arranging some care - not something we had previously considered. Extensive research by my daughter followed by contact with Bridgewater Home Care enabled us to select this company. Nearly two months of care has meant our choice was correct. Our
carer is excellent, helpful and has developed a good relationship with my wife. She is innovative in her attention and activities and we have a happy situation. I have already mentioned Bridgewater to friends and am pleased to recommend a caring company.

The service we have received from Bridgewater to date has been exemplary, right from the very initial telephone contact through to the care my husband is now receiving. The communication has been excellent, and the care taken to ensure that my husband’s needs are met, both to his satisfaction and mine
cannot be faulted. It is wonderful knowing that the doorbell will ring on time and there will be a smiling face standing there. It gives me, as the full-time carer, a break and cannot be recommended highly enough.

From the first contact I had with the team at Bridgewater Home Care in Harborough, I knew that they would offer my mum the best care possible. Realising that my mum, who suffers from Vascular Dementia, needed some support, which would also allow my dad (main carer) some time out, was a big step. The
team has been there every step of the way, going over and above what we were expecting. My mum's carer is lovely, patient, and kind and has enabled my dad to get some much-needed time to himself. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Our first tentative steps into the world of home care for my wife, who has Alzheimer's, and it couldn't have gone better. Everything Bridgewater Homecare Harborough have done is characterised by excellent communication, a personalised approach, attention to detail and total empathy with both my wife

Over the last weeks, I have experienced a time which has been difficult, upsetting and frightening at times. Bridgewater Home Care have been my rock. They have cared for me and more importantly my partner. They have gone out of their way to be kind, considerate and caring at the same time safe and understanding
to both of us. I cannot fault the fact that they have always introduced themselves and their staff before coming to assist in our home. We have appreciated this as it is never easy to have strangers coming into your home. Their whole attitude to their vocation is exemplary. I wish them every success in their future career.

We can't praise the team enough for their professional and caring attitude. Nothing is too much trouble and I am happy knowing that my father is getting the best of care. The staff are always cheerful and discreet, preserving dignity at all times. They are experienced and knowledgeable, taking care
to check for any signs of medical problems. When we have encountered problems with equipment they have used their expertise to help resolve them. I fully recommend the care provider.
