The staff covering the Chichester on-call, for example, would then know the Chichester clients, which would save me having to explain who I am, which branch I am associated with and which carers I am referring to each time I phone up.

More importantly, they took control of medical matters, contacting the GP, pharmacy etc when needed and always communicated well with my sister and me, addressing concerns quickly if we had any.
