I will give you just a few examples; never opened leg bag catheter to run into night bag, leg bag was about to burst when I got to my dad I had to empty it. Another time the carer left the tap open to the night bag, all the urine run onto the carpet. Still waiting for Rosemont to do something about this, but no they sent the same person back after I said I don't want her back. The carer broke a catheter tap and pulled it so hard she made my dad's penis bleed. The District Nurse could not believe what she had done, never turned up four times, just left my dad. You never knew if they going to turn up or not. The list is endless.

they respected their initial boundaries and worked slowly with both my Uncle and Aunt to build positive relationships, they now look forward to these visits, sharing photos and stories with them. The team leader has worked tirelessly to explain to my Uncle that he needs a hospital bed, that its not a scary time and that we are doing everything to ensure he stays at home but comfortably and safely. She has visited him at home numerous times to explain the benefits, made many calls to occupational health and social services, which has ensured that he has got the help he needs. It is reassuring to know they are in safe hands.
