Goldcrest Healthcare Service, have been providing service to my mother for the past year. My mother has Dementia and doesn't remember much from one minute to the next. I am the son and live with her and my father who also has Dementia. I am writing this review, due to the dissatisfaction of the service provided by the carers being sent out, to aid my mother with a shower. The carers stand around outside the shower room, whilst my mother has a shower, then once finished they never clean and wipe down the shower room. They hardly ever do anything else like make breakfast or anything else that is commensurate as stated and written in the promise of service they have given in my mother's service file. I have over the year made many complaints to management, i.e. of, lateness of service (sometimes up to 2hrs), or not even turning up!... But nothing has been done, to rectify these issues.

I have a home CCTV, for safety and monitoring purposes.

My husband has Lewy body dementia. We have had Goldcrest coming in daily since April 2021. The carers we have are brilliant with my husband. They interact with him and show him the utmost respect. He had a spell in hospital. We now have the carers back with us, the whole of the team is there for you. They treat the family of the person they care for also with great respect.
We now have them coming in 4 times a day because his illness has gotten worse.

I can honestly say I would recommend the two carers we have, they are second to none.
