Both myself and my dad are satisfied with the care that Beacon Home Care provide. He says that all the carers are very nice. They send me a weekly rota of the names of the carers who will be going in each evening and at what time. This is very helpful to my dad.

Lovely carers, always polite and respectful. Good to have a regular carer each visit as you build a rapport with each other. You are not always having to explain your routine every visit. Very rarely late .

The carers are kind and friendly which is a comfort with an elderly parent. They are reliable and trustworthy which is very important in this day and age. It is reassuring for me to know that my mother is happy with the care she receives.

I've needed help at home since 2009. Since changing care providers to Beacon HomeCare in 2023, I've finally realised how it feels to have carers who genuinely do care about me. The two carers I have most often are friendly, hard working, thoughtful, punctual and have respect for both me and my property.
Therefore, if you are looking for a care company who will give you and your loved ones peace of mind in the knowledge that you are being very well looked after, I highly recommend Beacon HomeCare.

I am satisfied with the care I receive from Beacon Care. I receive a weekly rota which enables me to prepare for my carers coming, that means I can have the best time when they are here to do important things

This has been a traumatic experience for me - after a life of good health I am now very restricted and this situation is likely to get worse. My carers have been wonderful throughout. Within their scope, nothing has been too much trouble and their kind words throughout have helped one enormously. In
many ways, they have all been a godsend - it is even more important as my health situation deteriorates.

All the carers have their own individual traits but have one thing in common, which is to treat my wife who has PsP with respect and compassion. Unable to react, and comply with their requests she is very slow in mind and mobility so patience and understanding has always been foremost whilst carrying
out their caring duties.

Care staff for grandad are really great but had to make a few complaints but Beacon management dealt with it quite quickly. Happy with the way they stick with grandad's routine and encourage him and solve any issues with mobility very quickly.

Despite setting up very clear goals around cognition, socialising, support to use the microwave etc for my aunty, these were rarely met. Contact with the agency was difficult, and they never attempted to discuss issues or challenges. Carers were meant to visit for 30 minutes 6x per week and 60 minutes
1x per week. On average, they spend between 10-15 minutes. When we complained, the agency discharged my aunty, leaving us with 2 weeks notice to find another agency. I would not recommend this agency.
Reply from Julie Coupe at Beacon Homecare Services LTDIt is rare, in fact, it is unknown for us to receive such poor feedback. The wishes of the family were met and when concerns were raised we openly offered a meeting to rectify any issues. Invitations to our office were given for family members to see our policies and procedures and to give an understanding of the rules and requirements we must adhere to. As for leaving a call early, our staff members cannot be subjected to cigarette smoke during a call. The person in question had been politely asked to refrain from smoking whilst staff were present, but refused. For the good of our staff, the service user and to maintain professionalism it was best to cease the agreement.
