Initially had nothing but problems with this company. Insufficient training given to staff. Got better with certain carers. But again it has got bad. Manager has walked out and staff are leaving. Avoid this company at all costs.

Staff not trained on routines. No communication from management. When regular carer (who is fantastic) off staff always late (one time an hour). My calls to office go unanswered. Today's carer was told to call previous carer to "find out what to do". While speaking to "person" they spoke in a foreign
language (not English).

Mitchell & Murdoch have been wonderful in supporting my father overall. We had 2 amazing ladies who were consistent but sadly they left. We have 2 new carers, one of which is excellent and the other is new and learning. They don't do as much as the previous ladies eg changing beds, nighttime bag or
hanging up his washing but I maybe need to ask for specific things to be done.

My father receives excellent care from the staff who visit him. The same people cover the shifts (with the exception of holidays) which gives consistency and a good relationship built on trust. The staff are very caring and encourage mobility as far as possible and conversation. They understand Dad's
needs and make sure he has everything required.

Avoid like the plague. Happy to abandon a service user for 20% of their daily issues mental health ignoring 80% of her physical health issues which are getting worse. Social Worker agreed to increase my care, not kill it off! Refused to listen to their own staff on the sublet. Claimed paper trail even
though Case Conference 12 days ago made no mention wanting to cease and now claim longer term? Also refused to apologise for upset and depression or to reconsider. Do as we say, Not do as we do.

I am so pleased with the care my mum has been receiving from her two favourite carers since we changed providers in January.
My mum has settled down and is really happy to see her two favourites when they come in to visit her.

Carers are kind and attentive toward my mum, ensuring she is safe and comfortable. They are good at alerting me if anything is amiss. People are approachable and I find them friendly and easy to deal with.

Mitchell and Murdoch provide excellent care for my aunt. The carers are prompt and always chatty. My aunt enjoys their visits. They understand her requirements and put any concerns on the app so I can see immediately and they communicate well with us as a family.

Since needing a carer after leaving hospital in June 2020 after having a stroke on my left side, which is now weaker, I am very happy and content with Mitchell & Murdoch Care Ltd. From the start, the approach has been friendly and professional. Contacting the office is always quick and knowledgeable about my mum's situation. There is a culture of kindness together with being diligent; they are all willing to help. I feel supported too! Very happy, as my mum is, and other family,

Mitchell & Murdoch Care is excellent and treats the client with respect. The carers give the client the best of care and makes them feel they are important as they really care for the person and do not simply do their job. They provide the best of care.
