I have used A1 Home Care, who have supported both my parents over the last year. The level of care is exceptional with experienced, friendly and entirely trustworthy staff. Requests, whether it be for more hours or a change of care focus, have also been accommodated in a very timely fashion. I would recommend A1 Home Care to anyone who is looking for care assistance in the home and the care they have provided made a material difference to the lifestyle and well-being of my parents. I will be forever grateful for the support both my parents received from the very professional and supportive A1 Home Care team. Thank you.

A1 have been caring for my mum for a number of years now and they have always been excellent. All the carers genuinely care and always treat my mum with dignity and compassion. The office staff are great at contacting me should there be a problem and informing me of any updates with Mum's care. Wouldn’t choose any other company to care for my mum.

They are able to respond on short notice.

Good communication from the office, and making sure my mum eats. Mum seems to be happier when the carers have been. She does not like men applying cream to her though. Overall, excellent.

A brilliant service that suits my needs perfectly. Flexible and always informed if there are any issues with timings on the day. Make allowances for my pets who love to meet the ladies each day. Thank you so much, A1.

All the carers were very friendly, professional and caring. They were always on time and worked well and did everything they were asked to do. They were always cheerful and created a happy atmosphere to start the day.

A1 always tried their best to offer consistent and high-quality service to a quite demanding client. They worked very well with me and listened when I raised issues. When Dad was poorly after a fall, staff really showed they cared.

Been a client for many years and couldn't wish for a better company to take care of me from the managers, office staff and the great carers. Nothing is too much trouble and gives me great confidence for my future care.

The Care Manager and her team at A1 always treated my mother and our family with the greatest dignity and respect. Nothing was too much trouble. The level of care and communication given by the whole team was always excellent.

It took a while but eventually Mum has a regular carer(s) and it has been very useful to receive an email regarding the rota for the week ahead. Any time there has been a concern, the admin/management team take it on board. Covid-19 has put a strain however A1 have tried their very best and our carers we chose are always very professional but sympathetic with Mum's needs, especially one carer who I cannot name!

We have had A1 Home Care for many years now. Firstly for my father and now for my mother. Staff are always polite and caring. They are very helpful for Mum and are always friendly. Thank you and all the staff for all their help with Mum.

Due to staff shortages, the carer's attendances have not met full allocation schedules. Four hourly sits have not been achieved.

The carers that I have are efficient and always on time. Some have become good friends and do over and above what is required. The office staff are always friendly and willing to help. I am so grateful for everything you do that enables me to stay in my own home. Thank you so much.

I have had the same carer now 20 years and I sware by his help and sup[port in what I do. I can do all the jobs in the house wash, iron, hoover, dust, bed change and sort out the food for the day. Doing varied bits for the week. Go to town on my electric chair as I want to go shopping daily to the local shop to get what I need and I have a family to look after. All my paperwork and finance, not bad for a man who spent 18 months in a coma and had to relearn from scratch in 8 months to live independently.

It has been two years since my wife first started receiving care from A1 Home Care and I am pleased to say that after a lot of research we made the right choice in choosing A1.

The care afforded Dad before he went into hospital was exemplary. Beyond the care was the sensitivity to him and Mum. A very careful eye was kept on them both - thank you.

Our main carer is a treasure. We are very lucky to have her. She is always very cheerful and knows how to handle a dementia patient. The relief carers are good with the personal care that is needed.

The helpers are careful and set up a good relationship with their patient. They always leave the work area in a tidy condition. They are friendly and will have a short chat with us.
