The best decision we made was to ask Ascot Care For help. My friend has a 24 hr carer, break time carers and support from the office. It has been a weight off me and a massive reduction in stress and anxiety having the support we are getting. They have taken on the burden of liaising with healthcare professionals and looking into options to enable excellent care to be given to my friend. The 24-hour carers have been excellent, especially given a very rough ride from my friend who was struggling to accept that she couldn’t walk. We have a long term carer who has patience in abundance and seem to really care. They liaise with me and keep me informed when I visit and at other times. While still maintaining the professional distance they, and others, are able to demonstrate to my friend, and me, that it is her best interests they are thinking of at all times. We trialled a nursing home and that was a disaster and actually not too different in costs given the 1-1 support she gets.
Mum used Ascot Care for 2 years following a stomach cancer diagnosis and additional care was required after decision to stop treatment. Carers were always pleasant, cheerful and helpful. Due to Covid-19, I moved in to shield with mum and arrangements were made for the same carer each day to reduce risk of infection. Mum did not want me to do her personal care, and to start, mornings were enough but as she became bedridden we added an evening visit to make her comfortable. A couple of hours were later added to allow me some respite to get my permitted exercise or extra sleep. I felt cared for as they cared for mum. Exceptional flexible service that ensured my mum got to see her last days peacefully at home. I couldn’t have coped for the last 3 weeks without them due to the lockdown that was in place. If she had been forced to go into a home, hospice or hospital I would have lost the time with her as no visitors are allowed. I have and will continue to highly recommend Ascot Care.
Always adaptable.
It has been reassuring to have Ascot Care workers in my home. I have enjoyed the consistency of my care. After originally being an unwilling participant in the initial meetings to organise my care. I have been pleasantly surprised by the care and attention I have received. I still have my independence but am reassured by the presence of carers in my home. So far a good service provided.
The relationship between Ascot Care and our family evolved with the years.
The continuity of carers was exceptional, often a bond was made which was a great comfort to my father and to his family.
Their professionalism was exemplary and I would not hesitate to recommend Ascot Care.
All the carers have been pleasant, willing, cheerful and helpful when visiting.
The office staff I have dealt with have also been helpful and courteous.
As I expect my needs to increase with the passage of time, I have complete confidence in the ability of all agency staff to take care of me compassionately.
Ascot Care is very reliable and if my regular carer is not available, they always provide a substitute. All the staff are friendly and efficient. I would be happier with greater consistency.
Care staff from Ascot Care have been very helpful and polite. They know my routine in the mornings very well.
Their service has been efficient, reliable with friendly personal care at all times.
All ok. Quick to respond when needed. Nice meals. Companionable.
Having used Ascot Care for a number of years I simply cannot fault them. Their commitment and dedication to my nephew and us as a family has, at times, been well and above the call of duty. We as a family have been through some very difficult and frustrating times and Ascot Care have always been there for us. The staff are pleasant, friendly, approachable, always have time to listen and have just been our lifeline over the years. They provide an excellent, high standard and professional service. I would have no hesitation in recommending Ascot Care to anyone who needs this service and cannot thank them enough for their past and continued help to us.
Excellent service. Employees are very high quality.
They treat my husband with real dignity and always make sure that he is comfortable and safe.
Ascot Care looked after my dad for four and a half years until his death in December 2017. We have always been extremely happy with the care he has received. Everybody in Ascot Care has always been kind, helpful, caring and professional. We have built up a good relationship with them over the years. We would recommend them without hesitation.
Googled Care Companies based in Horsham and struck lucky with Ascot Care. My husband was discharged from hospital after seven weeks as a patient. Three weeks with Ascot Care has made a huge difference to my husband's recovery. The Carers are punctual, friendly, kind and helpful and adjust to clients needs. Management keep a close eye on standard of carers and can be easily contacted by phone or email.
I am very happy with Ascot Care Ltd. They are very helpful and punctual which is very important to me.
I find that the carers are very cooperative after they know of my likes/dislikes.
I find all the Ascot carers kind and good at their job.
The care my mother receives from Ascot is very good and my mother is very happy with the care she receives.
Ascot Care Ltd consistently send friendly, professional carers who even go beyond the call of duty on occasion. I usually use them to fill in for my disabled daughter's Pa's (direct payments) when on holiday/sick leave and they support her at her day centre. My daughter loves the carers Ascot Care Ltd send and they all seem to be natural at relating to persons with learning disabilities too. I highly recommend Ascot Care Ltd.
