From the moment of arrival the staff are focussed on your needs, your mood and how they can support you. Patient and encouraging if you are able to shower yourself, and on difficult days they sense when to offer a helping hand. Tidy up before they leave, asking ".can I do anything else for you Jackie. ?"
Then you're alone but feeling for just a short time, someone has been able to communicate that you are a person and not just another call before moving to the next client.

My dad has received services for just a week, he has been really pleased with the ladies that have visited him, which is very reassuring for me , his daughter. He said they have been very helpful and given him him time , to build up a re pour with them.

We began using Barnfield Homecare 3 times a week as companionship for my father, and over the months this evolved into calls 4 times per day as he became more frail. I cannot praise the staff and management highly enough for the wonderful care they gave my father especially during the last couple of weeks of his life. The management checked regularly that my father's needs were being met and the carers were extremely organised and conscientious if additional problems arose, nothing was too much trouble for them. We could not have wished for better care from such lovely carers and the kindest managers.

My father is well looked after, and the carers deal calmly with whatever they are faced with. There's always someone on the other end of the phone if there's a problem and they have always been very helpful and informative. Everything seems to be well documented. I can't fault the service we've had and would highly recommend Barnfield.

The staff at Barnfield have been really compassionate in the care that I have witnessed for my parents. The timekeeping is on the whole within a reasonable window of the requested time - it is appreciated that unexpected events can occur when dealing with previous clients causing unforeseen delays. The only minor comments have been relayed to the management team and are understood to be raised with the staff member concerned.

Looking for care for someone is daunting. I tried a couple of options before finding Barnfield about five years ago. I cannot speak too highly of the team who now attend to my bedridden friend. They are kind, caring and totally professional. They respect all the patient's likes and dislikes and are patient and understanding. They are scrupulous about food preparation and all is left clean and tidy. Should any problems arise the carers (and clients) have excellent back up from the office team who receive daily reports from the carers. The carers work well with support services and, when necessary, give clear and concise information to nurses or ambulance staff. I have complete confidence in recommending Barnfield.

They are extremely professional and the care our Father has recieved has been excellent. The Manager and admin staff have worked with us empathetically and patiently to iron out any initial concerns and helped overcome any teething problems (usually created by us); advising, adjusting and tailoring the support to meet our father's specific needs.

The agency manager is very professional, her communication is open and transparent and she has a "can do" attitude, she is very supportive of myself and my Niece. She is readily available for contact even out of business hours, which I have always been grateful for. When the manager is on leave, I have confidence in the staff member who is in charge for that period of time, the administration team are always helpful and responsive. Barnfield Homecare is the first time we have used a care service provider, and the whole process has worked out very well. The initial meeting do discuss the level of care needed, in conjunction with my father-in-law was very detailed, and has led to a 3x per week care package, which is working very well. When my wife and I went on holiday for a week, Barnfield were able to increase the care provision to visit every day. The care that has been provided has been pragmatic and dignified. They are working in often difficult circumstances but are obviously well trained and on occasions when my Mother's health has not been good they have no hesitation in contacting medical help via the ambulance service and contacting a relative too.
We could not manage without the girls and thank them very much.

For the past 5 years, I've been a dedicated member of the Barnfield Homecare team. As a Care Coordinator, I not only schedule client visits but also manage our company systems. I'm passionate about providing excellent care and supporting our community.
My role focuses on ensuring all clients receive the care they need while building strong relationships with both our carers and their families. Ultimately, I strive to create a supportive and positive environment for everyone involved.
I have worked in the health and social care sector for 14 years, with hands-on experience in care, office-based roles, and 24-hour care facilities. In May 2023, I joined Barnfield Homecare as the Care Coordinator for our Tamworth branch.
I have a particular passion for supporting individuals with complex care needs and dementia, and I find it incredibly rewarding to make a difference in people's lives through compassionate, well-organised care.
My focus is on enabling clients of all care needs to remain safely and comfortably in their own homes. I carry out regular visits to complete assessments and reviews, working closely with families and other agencies to ensure each care plan remains responsive and person-centred.
I manage the rota to make sure all visits are covered reliably, and any last-minute changes are handled smoothly. Alongside this, I carry out regular spot checks and staff meetings to support our team and maintain the high standards of care we are proud to provide.
