I normally just have a cleaning and laundry service, but whilst I am having to self isolate, I rely on my cleaner to do my shopping - which is going well, thank you. I could not manage without this help.

Being unable to visit my relative has been very difficult for us in the lockdown situation, but it is so reassuring to know that the Bluebirds visit twice a day and they contact me if there are any immediate issues. I know that my Aunt is safe, taking her medication, and eating her meals. The area supervisor also contacts me by email if necessary and to offer their help with anything. I also have access to an app; which gives me details of each visit; this is excellent, particularly when we are on holiday.

Whether it’s asking if they can do some shopping or something more, it’s always arranged with a smile.
Living 3.5 hours drive away, Bluebird visit my parents every day if there are any concerns, I get a call which puts my mind at rest.
Yesterday I received a call to say my dad wasn’t well. I got ready and got in the car ready to go up there. I was worried that my mum would be on her own waiting for the ambulance. I asked if the carer could stay, I understood that whilst under the Coronavirus situation if she couldn’t. The company rescheduled everything and the carer stayed with my parents until I arrived some 3-4 hours later.
You never know how an agency is until you need them at a time of emergency.
Bluebird have demonstrated repeatedly just how much they care.
Being able to live independently is made so much easier with this team of amazing carers.

It is comforting to know each night that the Bluebird carer, within minutes of the agreed time, will arrive and be cheerful, helpful and thoughtful about what she is doing and will often make helpful suggestions. I couldn't ask for a better start to the day.

Running out of things without being advised. Throwing out things after their expiry dates. Some carers are unsure about the aga and keeping it clean.

I require assistance getting in and out of my care and arrival to work and departure. Few companies could offer this assistance and most only worked until 4am. Bluebird have been a life line and have helped me keep my job by taking in this service for me. All the Bluebird carers are friendly and patient.
My mum has regular care from Bluebird and is very happy with the carers who visit her. She is not very mobile and the carers treat her with dignity and compassion. She feels very comfortable and safe in their hands.

Sheree brings a wealth of professional expertise to Bluebird Care. Prior to owning Bluebird Care Leeds North, Sheree was a Quality Manager with the Bluebird Care Franchise Support Centre, providing advice and support to around forty Bluebird Care franchises in the North and East Midlands region.
"Bluebird Care stands for exactly the type of quality care provision that I want to be associated with. I knew the moment I became involved with Bluebird Care that this brand represented the type of quality services that I’m happy to put my name to. Coming from a care and quality background, I self-assess our service on a daily basis and I’m only satisfied with a service that holds dignity and respect at its heart and is good enough for my own loved ones.”
Bringing with her, 18 year's experience in the health and social care sector in a variety of roles, Sheree initially worked as a front-line Support Worker, Registered Manager and then Senior Manager of multiple services. She worked as a Quality Assurance Manager for a large Yorkshire based Housing Association and then started her journey with Bluebird Care working for the Franchise Support Centre before investing in her own Bluebird Care franchise in early 2019.
A career in the social care sector has given Sheree the opportunity to lead a range of services including domiciliary care, care homes, extra care, supported living and day services and has experience of working with older people, people with learning disabilities, mental health issues, drug and alcohol misuse, homelessness, chaotic lifestyles and children and families.
Throughout her career, Sheree gained vital knowledge of the care industry and understands what excellent care looks like and more importantly, the impact that poor care has on the people who receive it.
Sheree is born and bred in Leeds and is very proud to be able to bring outstanding quality home care to her local community.
Having worked in most roles within the business, Sophie is a fountain of knowledge in Care and Support.
Sophie leads the team with integrity, she thrives on learning every day and works hard to continuously develop the service. She manages operations in an organised manner and supports staff with confidence and kindness.
When it comes to passion for customer service and truly person-centred care, Sophie has bundles of it and her energy is infectious throughout the team.
