Bluebird Care Leeds North’s full Live-in Care service is a popular option, where a suitably matched Care Assistant lives in the customer’s home. This enables customers to stay safe at home and the service is completely personalised to each individual customer and provides the ultimate in safety and protection.

When people live in their own homes and receive Bluebird Care’s services, they can keep to their own familiar routines, enjoy their garden and sit with their pets in their favourite armchair. Customer’s families and friends can be reassured in the knowledge that they are safe and well cared for.

Absolutely brilliant people at Bluebird. They make this grumpy fella a very happy man with their care and kindness. They all make time for you and nothing seems too much whether it's those in the office or my usual carers. We have a giggle and I do look forward to seeing them, such a good bunch.

I feel very comfortable with my current carers. I can think of nothing else to say without going into finer detail. If there were a complaint it's so trivial it's not worth bothering about.

I can’t fault the team at Bluebird, they are on top of everything with my Mum’s care. They contact me regularly to let me know me how things are going and what they have been doing to support Mum. Mum has quite complex health needs and they work so well with the Nurses involved and have arranged for
Occupational Therapists to assess her which resulted in Mum getting better equipment to help her get around at home.
Mum really enjoys seeing her carers and although we were worried about having carers in, we didn’t need to be. They are fantastic! Well done Bluebird.

Bluebird Care staff were always caring, compassionate and attentive. Communication with family was always timely, focussed, supportive and appropriate. Whenever support needed to be increased or altered in any way, Bluebird did so efficiently.

My father receives excellent care from his Bluebird carers, they have gained my father’s trust, who was a little reluctant to receive help at first. I do believe he would not be without his Bluebirds now, he speaks about them very fondly. Whenever I have contacted the office, the staff are pleasant,
taking an interest and easy to talk to, they clearly have their customers’ best interests at heart. They respond quickly to any request we have and find ways to accommodate us with our last-minute requests for additional visits when needed. I see that Bluebird have recently won awards and I can see why as they go above expectations for our family.

My 92-year-old mum has dementia and was well cared for by the lovely carers who looked after her.
Bluebird was very informative and loved the app provided to monitor mum's daily visits.

The team at Bluebird are the best we’ve experienced and we’ve had some bad experiences with home care companies. They are always on the ball and alert to changes in my Mum’s health and mood, they make suggestions to help but somehow never take over and just feel like a safe pair of hands. Everyone we
have spoken to has been friendly and polite and even though I know they must be terribly busy as they help many people, they make us feel like we’re the only family they support and are very giving with their time. We’re completely happy with Bluebird!

Bluebird provides a high standard of care to my elderly mother. The access to the online daily care comments is particularly helpful, I can take a look at these whilst I am at work to see how Mum's start to the day was. Communication from the office team is very good and efficient. Everyone I deal with
is very professional, knowledgeable, compassionate, and caring. Mum has built some good relationships with the carers who provide her care. Overall I feel Bluebird provides an excellent service of care.

Bluebird are miles ahead in terms of quality of care than other care companies we’ve used. They are professional, competent and it’s obvious from every person I have spoken to in the team that they are kind and generous people.
I couldn’t cope with everything when I was caring for Dad on my own but
since Bluebird have been involved, I’ve got my life and my relationship back with Dad. I know that if Dad ever needs any extra visits, they have a well-managed team and always find a way to accommodate our requests.
Dad enjoys the visits from his carers, they take such good care of him and he always looks immaculate. He has a cheeky sense of humour which his carers bounce off.
There are not enough words to thank you Bluebirds.

All the care workers that have been to look after me are all so kind. They will do anything for me and nothing is too much for them. They are chatty and that is what I like. From starting with Bluebird their admin and information have been excellent both from their local office and all the friendly caring staff who help me at home. I look forward to their visits and appreciate their care for me at home. They are top dollar in cost but as always you get the best if you pay
for it and they are the best in this field in my experience. I haven't yet met the franchise holder but would like to leave especially my thanks to all the friendly folk at Horsforth Leeds. Well done guys 11 out of 10!

Such thoughtful, kind and caring staff. My dad has loved the cards and little parcels of goodies that have been sent out. He felt special on his birthday after receiving a card. He also particularly loved his Easter and Spring parcel with seeds for planting; naming his seedings after his regular carers.
This has been a great comfort to our family to see that our dad is being looked after by such a caring team that know him! He’s happy and we are too! Well done Bluebird xxx

Bluebird continues to deliver outstanding care to my father and have not let the pandemic phase them at all. Impeccable service, knowledgeable team, each one with a heart of gold. They provide care for my vulnerable aunt and she couldn't be happier now. She went into a care home but didn't settle well due to the strict routines that didn't suit her. Bluebird Care helped to bring her back home where she wants
to be and the difference in her is remarkable. Bluebird helped by putting us in touch with an Occupational Therapist who recommended equipment to help my aunt get around her house safely. She's happy and alert now and looks forward to her carers visits each day. Don't even bother trying anywhere else, the service these provide is second to none. Many promise you the earth and don't deliver whereas these do exactly what they say they will, which is reassuring when it comes to family.

My carers do everything I need so I can stay at home. They help with my medicine and getting up and about. My life was miserable before my Bluebirds started helping me. I've got my life back and it means so much. I had other care companies before and they used to come late all the time but my Bluebird
carers come to my house when it suits me which is so much better. We always have a laugh too it's great.

Sheree

Sheree Jenman

Job Title: Director

Sheree brings a wealth of professional expertise to Bluebird Care. Prior to owning Bluebird Care Leeds North, Sheree was a Quality Manager with the Bluebird Care Franchise Support Centre, providing advice and support to around forty Bluebird Care franchises in the North and East Midlands region.


Sheree said,
"Bluebird Care stands for exactly the type of quality care provision that I want to be associated with. I knew the moment I became involved with Bluebird Care that this brand represented the type of quality services that I’m happy to put my name to. Coming from a care and quality background, I self-assess our service on a daily basis and I’m only satisfied with a service that holds dignity and respect at its heart and is good enough for my own loved ones.”

Bringing with her, 18 year's experience in the health and social care sector in a variety of roles, Sheree initially worked as a front-line Support Worker, Registered Manager and then Senior Manager of multiple services. She worked as a Quality Assurance Manager for a large Yorkshire based Housing Association and then started her journey with Bluebird Care working for the Franchise Support Centre before investing in her own Bluebird Care franchise in early 2019.

A career in the social care sector has given Sheree the opportunity to lead a range of services including domiciliary care, care homes, extra care, supported living and day services and has experience of working with older people, people with learning disabilities, mental health issues, drug and alcohol misuse, homelessness, chaotic lifestyles and children and families.


Throughout her career, Sheree gained vital knowledge of the care industry and understands what excellent care looks like and more importantly, the impact that poor care has on the people who receive it.


Sheree is born and bred in Leeds and is very proud to be able to bring outstanding quality home care to her local community.

Sophie Lowndes

Job Title: Care Manager Joined: 2012

Sophie is the Care Manager and CQC Register Manager for Bluebird Care Leeds North. She started her journey with Bluebird Care as a Care Assistant in 2012 and flourished within a supportive environment, that saw her develop and progress to the Care Manager role.
Having worked in most roles within the business, Sophie is a fountain of knowledge in Care and Support.
Sophie leads the team with integrity, she thrives on learning every day and works hard to continuously develop the service. She manages operations in an organised manner and supports staff with confidence and kindness.


When it comes to passion for customer service and truly person-centred care, Sophie has bundles of it and her energy is infectious throughout the team.
