Been happy since purchasing the apartment & its very comfortable in the apartment, and all my neighbours are friends and we look after each other. The staff look after us well and I don't feel alone at this stage of my life.

I have found since living in the Care South community, every assistance needed is done in a caring, helpful way. The staff in St. Ives Place/House do everything to make lives easier, and happier. Activities we can all join in and enjoy, treats together or delivered if needed. Altogether a community spirit, friendships and fun. Retirement living at its best.

My partner has benefited greatly from the personal care visits and social visits he has received. The standard of care is excellent cares treat him with respect and kindness. He loves going out on social visits mainly to garden centres and having coffee. It has made a big difference to his mobility and social interaction. I have also benefitted from having time to myself.

“I have been working in the care industry since 2007. I started as a Domiciliary Carer in the community before taking a position as a Bookings Coordinator. I then moved to Scotland in 2015, where I was offered a job as a Registered Care Manager in Aberdeen, covering a vast area from Aberdeen to Inverness. In 2017, I came home to Bournemouth and took a position as a Registered Manager. In October 2019, a career change took me to a position as a Deputy Manager at a care home.
Having worked in various roles within the care industry, my passion is domiciliary care. Although I have ventured throughout my career into other industries, I am always drawn back to care work. I am extremely happy to be working within Care South in a position where I can make a difference alongside my team, to the individuals we look after in the community.”
