I am very pleased with all the help I receive from Care South. The carers are amazing how they help my husband, in his bed, with all the normal day to day tasks like washing, dressing and making him comfortable. They are always ready to reassure him, talk to him about his day/night/family and how he is feeling at the time. After a serious fall, my mother required twice daily care from Care South Dorset. Their careers were excellent. They looked after my mum with great empathy, dignity, and care, understanding the difficulties she was having. They were cheerful and friendly which was a huge benefit to Mum while she was unable to do very much for herself. They involved her in their lives which brought additional interest and involvement for Mum. Great for her mental health at a time when her injuries were particularly painful. I would greatly recommend the Care South Dorset team.

Overall we are very happy with Care South. The carers are very friendly and helpful, handling to my Mother's needs. My only criticism is the four visits she has per day are not always spaced out enough which can leave a six-hour gap or they are only two hours or so. Apart from that the service is very good.

“I have been working in the care industry since 2007. I started as a Domiciliary Carer in the community before taking a position as a Bookings Coordinator. I then moved to Scotland in 2015, where I was offered a job as a Registered Care Manager in Aberdeen, covering a vast area from Aberdeen to Inverness. In 2017, I came home to Bournemouth and took a position as a Registered Manager. In October 2019, a career change took me to a position as a Deputy Manager at a care home.
Having worked in various roles within the care industry, my passion is domiciliary care. Although I have ventured throughout my career into other industries, I am always drawn back to care work. I am extremely happy to be working within Care South in a position where I can make a difference alongside my team, to the individuals we look after in the community.”
